The 2025 Kia K4 is a small sedan with a dynamic design. It has a spacious cabin and will be available for driving in autumn 2024. The hatchback version will be sold later. The K4 will replace the Forte and may have an electric version. It is expected to cost between $22,000 and $30,000. The base model has a 147-horsepower engine, while the GT Line Turbo model has a more powerful engine and transmission. The interior has a simple design with physical buttons for controls. The K4 has a unique steering style. The 2025 Kia K4 has broad rear fenders that give the vehicle a dynamic aspect, and a fastback roofline that is modeled after the Stinger Sport sedan. The 4-cylinder, 147-horsepower engine that propelled the Forte the previous year will serve as the base powertrain. The highest-level GT-Line turbo trim level is the only one with a 190-horsepower turbocharged 4. In terms of size, the K4 is somewhat bigger than the previous Forte and has a roomier cabin, especially for those riding in the backseats. This puts it in line with comparable small sedans like the Volkswagen Jetta, Honda Civic, Mazda 3, and Toyota Corolla. Fortunately, the K4 will be available to drive in autumn 2024, so we won't have to wait long to get our hands on one. The elegant hatchback version, which Kia claims will go on sale in the United States later, possibly for the 2026 model year, will have to wait a little longer. When the K4 debuts on sale for the 2025 model year, it is anticipated to take the position of the Forte small vehicle, which is the brand new moniker for Kia in North America. Simultaneously, the EV4 electric vehicle may potentially be added to the roster. Depending on the model and extras, the 2025 Kia K4 is anticipated to cost between $22,000 and $30,000. The 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, 147-horsepower engine, front-wheel drive, and continuously variable automatic gearbox, CVT, are features shared across the majority of K4 variants. We felt that this combination seemed rather slow in the 2024 Forte, which is where this engine is directly carried over from. This feature is unlikely to change with the K4, but fortunately Kia has an upgraded engine available, a 1.6-liter turbocharged four with 190 horsepower. The GT Line Turbo model is the only one with a more potent drivetrain, and it comes with a traditional eight-speed automatic transmission. All other K4s use a torsion beam rear suspension system, while the GT Line Turbo has an advanced multi-link system. The dash of the K4 has a linear appearance, and Kia has kept the interior decor basic and uncomplicated. Despite the huge infotainment display, there still seem to be a few physical buttons for controls, which is a welcome change considering the car industry's recent trend toward digitizing such items. The offset logo and two-spoke style of the K4's steering will set it apart from previous Kia models.
