The speaker introduces their podcast, The Non-Biologist, expressing nervousness about starting in English. They aim to share their opinions on relevant topics without being controversial or divisive. They emphasize bringing personal experiences to discussions and welcome diverse perspectives. The speaker encourages open dialogue on global issues and stresses the importance of learning from each other to understand different viewpoints in international relations. Hello everyone, welcome to the podcast, The Non-Biologist. I will be lying if I were saying that I've been scared, honestly, I've been terrified. I think this is the first time I'm doing a podcast, especially in an English-speaking language, which, as you can probably hear, I've definitely wanted to do for a long time. Because I feel like we talk a lot about politics, and I just want to give my opinion about certain things that I think are relevant to mention. And I'm happy to have any suggestions and to speak to any people you would think could be interesting. As long as it's not controversial, the goal here is not to be polemical or fallacious or whatever, it's not to expose different opinions about politics. And just say what I think about each one of them, without any hatred or without any jealousy, which would be, it wouldn't be the cause of this podcast. What I'm going to do, specifically, I'm going to put up is my rules, like someone who was racist and put up his front. But for a consulting meeting in the UK, or a few years now, I've definitely not seen since. Luckily, I've had my colleagues and my partners are good friends, because I feel like this sort of partisan way of formalising things isn't what's normal to the French one. And also, people just forget about politics. I also feel like I'm automatically bringing my personal experiences and some personal elements that influence how I see things and who I am as a person. I'm not a racist. I have felt no separation. I am happy. I love my community. Finally, I'm not opposed to this question, and I would want to think about it critically. I've always done that. So, if there's anything I say which is not what you would expect, first be in mind that I'm speaking from a different country, a specific culture, a specific home, background. And, secondly, I'm really happy to see economic and cultural issues. But what I would like to invite you, if you're not participant in this interesting thing, to invite you over and have a chat about whole different perceptions regarding different topics, whether it is on the US, on China, on the Middle East, on Europe, on the UK, all those points. So, yeah, April 13th, 2013, I'm very open on these things. I feel like we never learn what we're learning. I'm not here to say this is what you should think. I'm here to say this is what I think. This is based on different types of research. But if I'm missing something, please let me know, and I will learn from it. And everyone will benefit from it. I think the success is not just about you listening to someone with a weird accent, but it's also about learning different stuff. Learning all perspectives, all lives, and all thoughts of our time and our personal experiences. And learning from each other, because I hope that the success will not just be about me talking about stuff. But also maybe we can use different kinds of people in different countries, so different aspects and different understandings of international relations. That's what we're missing right now in the world, and that's what's interesting in our life, actually, and in our course in general. Thank you.
