Permafrost (Piano Trio)

Permafrost is a work written for piano, violin and clarinet trio. It uses quartal harmony. The half of the piece section builds up to a climax, and is meant to evoke the feeling of a storm approaching as the world begins to freeze and chaos unfolds. The second half of the piece is the aftermath. The world has frozen over, and all that is left is the harsh winter frost. Audio is generated with Musescore MIDI
