The next steps in the project involve: 1) meeting with stakeholders to gather insights and align on design priorities, 2) hosting a community forum to address concerns and gather public input on the trail plan, 3) conducting a technical and environmental review to ensure safety and sustainability, and 4) presenting a revised plan to the council for approval. The project aims to be a model for inclusive and health-focused urban planning, emphasizing care, transparency, and collaboration for the community's benefit. Here's what comes next. One, initial stakeholder meetings, O, we will meet individually with primary stakeholder groups, including council members, to align on design priorities and gather deeper insights. Two, community forum, O, a town hall will present the initial trail plan, address community and advocacy group concerns, and allow for public input on route alignment and design. Three, technical and environmental review, O, a joint session with planners, engineers, and environmental partners will ensure that proposed designs meet both safety and sustainability standards. Fourth, council update O, a revised plan, including integrated feedback, updated budget projections, and implementation timeline. We'll be brought back to you, the council, for final discussion and approval. Council members, thank you again for your time and leadership. We believe this project, if executed with care, transparency, and collaboration, can become a model for inclusive, health-focused urban planning. We are committed to making this trail a shared success story for all members of our community.
