A MIDI jam session; put down percussive DX7 "live" with left hand bass and right hand expressing the rhythm and harmonic strructure over a minimalist drum pattern. Solo instruments take turns and eventually a horn section shows up. Essentially a minor blues. Just having fun. "Bolero" is a salute of sorts to Ravel, who took a theme and developed it gradually adding complexity and texture. Recorded by numerous orchestras over the years, and I believe Frank Zappa also covered it.
