You will lead your marines down to the planet and land here at Point Alpha. Your objective is then to link up and assault the base. After you capture the AA positions, the carriers will descend down to the planet to provide close air support, with what little fighters we have. However, should something go wrong, your orders are to laser the transmitter array. We will then send bombers down to destroy the target.
