TST Podcast Ep2 FINAL - We Can't Focus

hello hi y'all hey welcome back it's Jessa and Haley and we are that's so true and we are on our second episode we have our favorite snacks with us I have it's one of my favorite snacks but the flame hot Cheetos and then I got talkies cuz that's live laugh love talkies that's our chip addiction alright so what happened last podcast we talked to we talked about music we talked about ourselves an earthquake happened so since then you have a new hairdo yeah I dyed my hair it was like what like a purple red before it's like a what it was a weird color because I just keep on slapping color on it but it just fades so fast because you shower every day um but now it's red and black I have black money pieces and then the rest is right and if you're my age or older can you explain what that is because I did not know that it's literally just the front strips of your hair like the framing pieces of your hair being dyed I don't know how else to explain it to me I would just say your bang strips or something yeah the framing pieces I never knew that term you know I don't know if it's been around a long time or not but just in case you didn't know I didn't know that's what it was called either until like two months ago anyway so yeah fresh new hair well she's going back to school on Monday day after tomorrow I don't want to go back what did you over your winter break I rotted in bed we were all sick oh we went to the grove oh yeah oh my god went to the grove it was fun they had these super big pickles which of course we got cuz that's a fact about us we love pickles so much they're yummy we drink from the jar I didn't really buy too much other than food which I did not like the food I got which was a bummer mine was okay low-key it was just really greasy a big a big slice of pizza I got some Chinese food that probably was missing MSG because that's probably why I didn't like it which is kind of sad but I tried and it ate as much as I could and what else did we do at the grove I got we all we got smoothies tastes like banana they're supposed to be peach it's been here you're just now noticing no I didn't start off with that I've been talking like this for like yeah whatever um but if you don't know what the grove is it's a really cool like shopping center here in LA there's also like Americana in Glendale that they're very similar but it's it's a cool fun time we went to cute shops that have like candles like all homemade handmade things like crystals and plants and stuff so it was nice to do that I feel like my my munchin is gonna be too loud me too sorry if you hear me munchin y'all um that looks funky you look funky okay okay all right sorry okay so what's something we can also talk about ourselves this time just so you can get to know us a little bit more it is the second episode if you haven't listened to the first one, listen to the first one right now right now um do go first if you haven't listened to the first podcast which why wouldn't you because hello introduction but we're an aunt and niece duo here so that's um the conversation that you'll hear. Y'all want some ASMR? Ready? I can't believe I just joined you on that. But I don't like that. She hates that stuff. She has whatever it's called mesothelioma. What? Mesothelioma. That's a whole different type of disease. I don't think I have it that bad but what is chips it's not you yell at me for chomping on chips too loud that's because sometimes you're really like you don't close your mouth y'all apparently have a bad jaw issue because she could hear it when i'm chewing i don't even know if you can hear it that's terrible okay stop other than going to the grove getting hair done i mean i've worked nothing interesting has happened it's been boring yeah um i haven't watched anything new what part of the gilmore girls are you at now i haven't watched it at all whoa because i've been on my phone all day um of course how much screen time do you have today on your phone for today let me see i'm gonna totally have way less than her i forgot how to do it you go to your settings every day eight hours and 17 minutes it's only not even seven o'clock at night and you've had literally half the day eight hours and thirty minutes okay but we haven't done too much recently that's too exciting to talk about um so i guess we'll just move on to the i want to go to the goodwill bins let's talk about that why i don't know i just feel like it could be fun you know how cheap it is you pay per pound leah went to the goodwill bins i'm sure it's cheaper in washington um oh yeah my best friend she went with her friends and her mom they got three full carts of stuff and it was only 50 bucks like full of clothes oh wait i think we did that once when you were a kid really i want to go again because i'm sure they'd have some gas clothes here we just have to go early because all the emo teens are gonna get there before me i think we need to go to a different one because i want to burbank let's do the get to know us section okay just because i feel like they need to get to know us better so more obsession other than what you said last time i don't as much anymore but i used to be really obsessed with vampire diaries i have a whole series on dvd i have three books um i have jewelry from the vampire diaries i have i have a lot of stuff a lot of merch um i used to have a fan account i don't i've i've had a lot of fan accounts i've had sky cats fan account why do you have one for her yeah um i had vampire diaries fan account it was like i had a multi fan account at one point where i posted like stranger things stranger things edits it edits vampire diaries other movies i don't even know and one of my fan accounts did actually pretty well which i don't understand why because it was like before covid and my edits were horrible but one of my edits got like over over 50k likes wow a obsession of mine which where do i start yeah we all we both have had we're like we're crazy because but it's good to have a lot instead of just one thing that's you know i feel like we're so entertained by a lot we admire a lot of people i mean we already mentioned some of them last time so maybe i'll say the orville is freaking fantastic space show and that's if you know me very well i'm not into that like i'm not into star wars or what's the other one not star wars but star trek yeah i would not watch that unless i was forced to probably but um so it was during the covid when i actually discovered it and i'm glad i did because it got me through the first like three months of the shutdown yeah that's what vampire diaries did for me yeah because that's when i started watching the vampire diaries and i became yeah i've watched so check that out you know what i literally just thought about how you told me you have a sky cast fan account when literally i told you i did because she reposted one of my edits on her instagram story oh yeah that was like three years ago right um that i remember it was in 21 yeah okay you want to you want to um explain who she is sky cat she was like a disney channel star she like she boosted her career on raven's home and that's how she got like famous um but i didn't really like like her then because you know i was younger but then i don't know her tiktoks just start popping up on my for you page more and more i was like she's kind of fine i kind of oh so this is another thing about hailey i like women and guys and guys i've had better luck with the guys i'm just saying i've never been cheated on with a woman i mean with a woman with the women with the women with the women with a woman that's a stroke she got into her and i've been noticed by sky a lot um she's literally replied to my comments multiple times reposted my edits i talked to her online yeah um it was not on live whatever she has read my comments on live too like she's liked my edits she reposted one of my edits which i'm still very proud of to this day what's another what's an obsession with both like other than high school musical that we talked about and the jones brothers that we also talked about last episode billy so she's not really an obsession for you neither for me i'm just a really big fan i mean i would be so starstruck if i saw her it's on my bucket list to see her live yeah me too i have to see her live i have a list of people i want to see live yeah right now it's only two actually three but okay so the list that's because we both have a list of people that we want to see and have things so um actually there's more than three you've already checked off are troy and robin well robin wasn't on your list you didn't even know who she was i thought you meant like just people i've seen but no even in person i'm even just in concert zach oh yeah zach the jones brothers the jones brothers we've seen um and troy i guess troy troy savon yeah um that's another obsession i was he was like my first like well not first obsession but yeah anyways and so i got to see him he was the first person i ever saw for my 13th birthday because she got me tickets july 27th 2019 dude i don't remember the dates when i saw like adam like i don't remember i used to it's like engraved in my brain yeah and about five years it won't be back to the list yeah i want to see billie eilish tyler the creator suicide boys xavier wolfe i'd love to see xavier wolfe live lil tracy or young bro whatever you want to say that's all really that's all you want to see oh well you still haven't seen the jones brothers in concert okay they can still include them who else oh adam okay so my list i have seen adam lambert like four times four or five times and queen twice with adam i've seen the jones brothers twice in concert joe once with his band dnc um i've seen stuff like marlin i've seen uh wow i think oh my i think that's all i have seen in concert for my list but i want to see billy eilish i know there's another oh i would love to see eminem but i don't think that's gonna happen but out of rappers he's the one i want to see i wouldn't mind seeing like sabrina last sabrina was my gay awakening oh yeah sabrina who carpenter i knew that i was just saying it yeah dang i've really i've seen all my favorites that's what that's like a highlight of my life so yeah a pet peeve one that we were just talking about i think it was yesterday that we both hate people it doesn't even have to be just guys wear their pants oh my god when guys sag yeah oh my god sagging oh i don't like that term can we not call it that well that's what's called what else are you supposed to call it i don't know i swear it's something different in my world it's so annoying to me not annoying it's just like embarrassing and it's also like some guys egos be so big like the fact that like their ego is too big to like say post their girl or do something for their girl or anything like that but then they can go around and like hang out with their homeboys with their whole booty cheeks hanging out like that's gay i'm sorry but that's gay okay yeah i i don't i don't get it i like obviously i don't want to see it and the people would be like well then don't look it's not even that i'm not like purposely looking in that direction it's causing a distraction in my view to where i end up looking and it bothers me because we don't want to see it and if you look like you're walking like a penguin at this point and it's like they wear belts too with their pants when they're sagging what's the point why are you wearing about might as well just wear your pants how your ankles at this point they want us to know what color underwear you're wearing i guess i don't know but that's a big pet peeve yeah yeah i can't stand that sometimes in my head i scream like as if i'm going to scream like pull up your pants but i don't because you never know what will happen um childhood story oh you mentioned the last one you yeah that i cut my head yeah you needed staples i was sledding and a runner sled i don't know how to explain that if you don't know what that is look it up i basically was on like a snow bank that you know no plow makes or why um and i turned that into a little hill to sled down and i think i was like nine eight or nine years old in the trailer park i sat on the sled and i started going down but there was like a big like rock of snow basically that like the sled hit and i flew forward like i dove into the snow on my stomach basically my feet were like up in the air and the sled came running down which is weird because it like caught itself and then i guess it like slid so much and it like slid over me but like over my head i'm always trying to you can't see me but yeah it slid on top of my head and it like cut it open you're like numb in a part of your yeah head now every time i get my hair done the stylist is always like hey you got a scar here and i'm like yeah i know because yeah i ended up i like ran home because it hurt it felt hot it was weird i hate that feeling like a hot metal piece was like just sitting on my head and i like touched it my friend that was with me was like um you're bleeding and i was like what and it didn't hurt too much right after that but then like as soon as i got to the er it started the thought of that and yeah i got like two like really deep staples put in um yeah i i remember having to not brush my hair a lot and i kept the staples for a little while and brought them to school for show and tell um yeah that i don't think that was my idea to bring them to the school but yeah that's my childhood story i guess i'm gonna just every episode talk about an accident until i hang up i don't think i've really had any accidents like that i've had a broken foot yeah but that wasn't that bad yeah it was funny sorry i love you dude she would always laugh when i'd be bawling my eyes out and make me bawl more it's like why are you laughing at my pain you get it i do now yeah i felt bad that you were in pain and bawling your eyes but it didn't seem like it and the sound of it happening was the funny part because it's like a comedy like come on anyway anyway um i've had a broken ankle well it wasn't broken it was a stress fracture i think i did it martial arts and it was like it was just her she took oh what i was like seven girl no yeah i didn't do it for very long though i only got to i only got to yellow belt second stripe because of my foot i don't know what i did but it like i heard it and it would have been fine if my pe teacher didn't push me to do our exercises and i had to run on it and stuff and it like stretched the bone and that's what made it a stress fracture and it like made the bone like gave attention it was about to snap i had it and it was like all screwed up like it wouldn't sit straight like my foot rested all crooked and i had to go to the hospital and they had to straighten my foot out before they put the cast on how messed up it was and that's yeah and then i've sprained my wrists a couple times i remember seeing a bunch of photos of just you on crutches and you looked yeah i was on crutches so sad but my cast looked cool so it was like tie-dye it was pink and it was like hot pink green purple all fun colors and then i once got a cast i don't remember which wrist on one of my wrists it was a white boring cast so what dude i swear there's pieces of life missing in my brain i don't remember why i got it or how it got injured but i do know that one of my wrists celebrity chat um now this is where we talk about either an experience that we had with the celebrity or some recent news that we came across ourselves oh my god who's pregnant again someone's pregnant again trisha he's oh yeah trisha's pregnant again and she's doing the baby gender reveal soon you want to say who trisha payton there you go okay so the the little news that i just read was that zendaya unfollowed everybody including tom holland yeah on instagram and so now people are not even together anymore but she doesn't follow anybody i thought she didn't follow anybody from to begin with i mean zendaya hello i don't know and i'm pretty sure her account's probably run by her like team well be ready for all the rumors because that's always what starts with these things i feel like a lot of people don't realize celebrities probably have like personal accounts because if i was a celebrity i would have a personal account like separate from like my famous account and private yeah you know i would do that totally um i don't know i guess we don't have too much about is there an experience when we saw wait did anything special happen when we saw joe's brothers get their star i think we were just like really starstruck that they're in front of us they looked at me nick and joe looked at me yeah yeah they did that's all that happened i dude that was like almost a year ago already it feels like it just happened like this summer i once got noticed by troye sivan in his live yes oh he's he's like i love you hayley yeah because i commented i still remember the comment i commented something like i love you so much you're an idol of mine i was mind you i was like 14 um yeah something like that was like a purple heart and he was like oh i love you too hayley thanks and i was like oh my god i love moments where you it's i think that's my favorite part about social media that is connecting with your favorite celebrity yeah i i geek out even if it's like a celebrity i don't really admire too much me too but it's still really cool like even though i i don't really care about justin bieber like i don't listen to any of his stuff i have nothing against him um he follows me on twitter and britney spears fall i could have said britney spears on my list but she's probably never gonna perform ever again so um oh and hillary duff i'm stupid we're probably i would love to be hillary duff but having like celebrities follow you and even that's cool yeah that's my favorite thing about social media same even people that like are you know from classic tv shows like carverna has an instagram vicky lawrence uh these two people the fact that they're at the age that they are on instagram it's really cool that they're interacting with fans anyway moving on i just love i love instagram for that reason okay educate me oh crap oh yeah what's your facts i found it but then i forgot it so i have to go look for it again um so this is the segment of where we both share a fact that we find interesting so last episode was about zombies um i guess we'll do people were buried alive so often in the 19th century that inventors made safety coffins that would give the dead the ability to alert those above ground if they were still alive and there's a photo and i can show you but basically it's a photo of them but there's like a little like rope for that goes into the coffin and then um it connects to a bell it connects to the bell that's above ground above their coffin so if they are actually still alive or even buried alive you know which is terrible and scary actually that's a fear of mine um they can ring it i think that's really cool but you know what's stupid if you're buried alive like as in it's a crime you're not gonna be buried in a coffin yeah so i guess this would be for only people who were accidentally buried alive were having a funeral but like diagnosed oh my god pronounced dead even though they weren't but i think that's a cool fact yeah that's freaky safety coffin that's pretty cool what's your fact australia is wider than the moon whoa yeah i don't even know how wide the moon is i'm gonna say i don't either let's look it up ladies and gentlemen shall we we'll ask siri so you can hear it with us how wide is the moon the moon's diameter is about 3 500 kilometers more than a quarter of earth's with the face of the moon comparable to the width of australia this answer is from wikipedia as if i know what any of that meant cool fact um now we're gonna do would you rather you want to do one first or you want me to go you go i need to go okay so i have a few so would you rather speak to animals or speak every single language speak every single language you would rather speak i'ma hear people talking cheese me oh dude i would rather speak to animals i could be like mrs dr doodle save them they tell me what they need i don't know would you live without music or live without tv oh i hate this one that one's i don't know i don't think i could ever answer that i can't live without music so i'm gonna have to say tv i can live without tv i can't music is what keeps me sane that's so difficult for me i don't think i can do either because they're both equally so important to me i have too many comfort shows yeah that i rely on so i don't know if i could answer that one to be honest i guess i can't answer that one would you rather uncontrollably break into song or unexpectedly lose your voice do not wait like lose your voice for like how long forever forever or unexpectedly break into song for the rest of your life so just like random musicals yeah i guess that i don't want to not be able to communicate with people other than like typing and hello i'm not gonna learn sign language okay my hands don't work that way would you rather sneeze all the time or hiccup all the time you sneeze all the time i hate hiccuping so yeah sneeze because i sneeze all the time regardless yeah because oh yeah i sneeze every single day but i do too now yeah i think it's probably an allergy to like just dust y'all i'm allergic to cats we have two cats and she's allergic and they're my favorite animal that was the moment she's like piss off it does sharpie even or fur on her blanket it triggers it activates the allergies um i'll do one more would you rather walk through a haunted cemetery i've done that so many times i used to live by one or walk through a haunted asylum cemetery sounds more fun i think they're both asylum kind of just sounds like you're waiting for a tweaker to come out and jump i'm not saying people that go to asylums are tweakers i'm saying abandoned asylums probably have a lot of tweakers disclaimer please don't cancel me um oh my god i don't know i've already walked through cemeteries i don't know if it was haunted i'm pretty sure there was something though but it was a girl it's a place full of dead bodies of course it's haunted it's creepy they're both creepy regardless an asylum would be more spooky to me i would be more scared of yeah what you said about like just prowlers and possibly wild animals squatters yeah um so i guess the cemetery since i've already done that many times it's probably very fun and yeah that's the thing we should do talk about paranormal experiences um okay we can just hop on that right now all right do you have one in mind because i have several but i can't share them all thanks yeah i can share one it was a little before you moved when you were first becoming friends with juliana and getting to know her you were upstairs oh yes oh yes you were upstairs on um skype was it skype yeah because wow people use skype then not no more zoom now um you were on skype with her and i was downstairs playing minecraft on the xbox and and this is when we lived it was just us in the house yeah it was just me and her um i was like what eight seven or eight eight it would be eight because that's before you moved um and i was literally just minding my business playing minecraft when all of a sudden i hear a faucet turn on full force no full yeah full force i'm like um and so i look and like where the couch was it's kind of hard to explain like but the bathroom was like you had to walk off the kitchen yeah so from the living room you would have to go through the kitchen to the bathroom but if you're sitting at like a certain point like far enough on the couch you could see like a sliver of the bathroom through the kitchen yeah because there's a counter um that's kind of like as like a bar area it looks like a bar yeah it was a bar counter but from the living room it just like looked over into the kitchen and i looked in there i saw the faucet on and i was too scared to even go in there i literally ran to the stairs i was like and she was like what i was like come down here right now please and i was scared and i made her turn off the sink i didn't even go i don't remember coming to turn it off but yeah wow i didn't that happen like twice i know there was another time maybe i am absolutely positive our home in our hometown in our hometown was haunted i heard about it several stories didn't tell but i'll i'll share them you know i'll separate them but um which one do i want to do i always tell the one about the panther but i feel like that one has a lot of description that i need like details so i don't know if i'll share that one until if we go on video someday but it's really i think that it was like the day we moved in well when i moved in yeah i'm conceived i was 10 years old oh crazy um i can share the one where i would always when i was at the house by myself i like if they if my parents went camping or they're at work or something and i was alone i would be walking out of the kitchen and right by the bar i wish people could see it but um so i would come out of the kitchen and there's a it was basically the dining table yeah but it was connected to the living room so it was all one bigger um and i would immediately see a black shadow i um couldn't see the actual like silhouette of a man but i knew by the energy that it was a man but it was like just like it wasn't solid it was like a literal shadow you know how sometimes you can see like a full-on yeah figure it was just a floating shadow but yeah it walked into the piano room which was my first room in that house yeah and yeah so that was probably it wasn't the first experience at the house but it was the first like um confirmation that there was a male a male energy around we had a really really creepy basement oh my god that were i guess it actually we had two no never mind that was a shed anyway that was a cool paranormal we have a lot yeah especially me you have a lot more than i do uh if i have more i don't remember a lot of them um there's definitely places that i want to take you to like the queen mary um haunted uh hotel in the future but that's in the future i remember that one time i started crying because the grim reaper it was when i first started playing the sim one of my sims died and the grim reaper came and it scared me well i don't remember that i remember that on the game yeah i started i started crying to you bad i don't remember that i was like what is this i don't know what the grim reaper was then anyways i don't think you've ever mentioned if you've seen anything i know you've heard i've never really seen anything i've never seen any figures nothing like that i want to share i think it's my favorite story to tell about orb you already know which one yeah i was thinking about that one when you're telling your other story so i mean i'm sure a lot of people know what an orb is um and if you're into this sort of thing but it was a christmas day and this is um something we haven't shared in the first episode but um my sister i have an orphan y'all my sister um her mom passed away when she was like when hayley was nine years old so um i think it was like the next christmas eight actually were you i swear you were nine 2014 i was eight oh yeah you just but so you just turned eight wow um so it might have been the christmas after i think it was um and it was like seven it was the first christmas after she had passed and it was without her and uh i was kind of like not feeling it i was like really down and i didn't i was not like into christmas at all and so she was in her grinch era or whatever um i was taking pictures of hayley in her new costume that she got and my wig i got that's so ironic i had a red and black wig you did she got had black highlight it on christmas yeah but she loved it you know um so she put it on and she was wearing a pink it was like a nightgown looking monster high it wasn't monster high but it looked like monster school on it and that's why you guys got it for me because i reminded you guys of monster high and you thought i was like well okay so she's wearing this and she just you know we're taking pictures of her and i see an orb floating by her with my own eyes a floater i immediately took the picture and i caught it so i have that picture i really should print it out because it's probably one of my favorite moments but and then we noticed there's another one so to us we thought it was my sister and my other niece which is hailey's other sister oh only sister who also passed away a long time ago um so we thought wow they're here with us and it totally changed my christmas so that was a really cool experience um trying to find probably my favorite one to share with orbs but that goes i guess that brought me to because i asked you if you saw if you see anything yeah i always see orbs and i always see shadows she's always seeing stuff maybe you're just a schizo don't cancel me no i am not she's schizophrenic y'all i'm not that's what i'll have to i'll have to i don't i can't tell where it is but someday i'll tell the um story about there's a girl i'm sorry because my stomach is distracting me um i see like a shadow at work all the time so i'll discuss that later so okay glad we can okay um i guess we can add the paranormal chat in the future because yeah i'm not talking about it we're at the end so we have gratitude left so we'll do three gratitudes might as well just do a five okay we could do five you go first um my bad i'm grateful for you got things faster don't sorry i'm grateful for talkies i'm grateful for oh h o two oxygen oh um that's three things i'm grateful for hair dye why not and sheen all right i am grateful for the kitties i am grateful um food um i'm grateful for having a job i'm great you said that last time you said your bed last time i say my bed every day i am grateful for the orville
