Larry: In other words, it arises with objects. There's the objects, and mindfulness, arises, and passes away, at a staggering rate. Probably you won't see that, unless you do a retreat. Because on retreats, when the mind gets calm, you can see that object, and the knowing of it. But you could say that there is something permanent. Otherwise, impermanence wouldn't make any sense. But that's the end of the journey. And that is Buddho if you've ever heard that. That means, the one who knows. In other words, we all know to some degree. But the final development, it's the same mind, it's the same chitta. It's the same heart, except now when it's fully perfected, you could say that is outside of…it has nothing to do with being born or dying. And that's… a Buddha is called, one who's a fully enlightened one. The name that's given to a fully enlightened one is Buddho, the one who knows.
