The speaker discusses their excitement for a game called Hellscape, which they compare to Hades. They mention that the game combines elements of Tony Hawk's American Wasteland with an action game, and has a great battle system that encourages both skating and action. Skating increases stats and allows the player to attack enemies. The speaker predicts that the game will have impressive speed runs and asks for comments on whether others will pick it up. Hellscape, take one. Hey you, I'm your player two and let's talk about Hellscape. It's actually one of my most anticipated games from Gamescom. What it does is it reminds me of... Nope, that's stupid. It's not stupid, but it wasn't good. Ready? Hey you, I'm your player two and let's talk Hellscape from Gamescom. It feels like it was inspired by Hades due to the fact that, you know, it takes place in hell and there's a big baddie to stop you from doing the one thing you want to do, skate at the beach. It looks like a great mix of Tony Hawk's American Wasteland and an action game. Of course, that action game might be Hades. The theme song is really good. I went out of my way to try and find it, I couldn't, so if you know, put it in the comments below. It has a great battle system that encourages not only skating, but actually mixing up the action because you could just skate through the level, but... Or you could just focus on hitting people with your sword, but... Nope. It looks to have a great battle system that encourages both the skating and the action aspects of the game, which would... This shows... The game looks like it has a great battle system that encourages not only the skating, but the action. Try again. This game looks like it has a great battle system that not only encourages the action, but the skating as well, since skating racks up points, which will allow you to deal damage to enemies. And with the stickers on the bottom of your board, that could also include things like increased crit rate and chance, as well as other perks for getting high points on your skate values. Wow, that was terrible. Let's try again. It looks to have a great battle system that encourages not only just the action, but the skating, since skating increases your stats and you get to use those to attack enemies and destroy them much quicker. Because there's a mix of action and skating, there will be this state of flow between doing cool tricks and killing enemies, and I'm pretty sure we'll have some of the coolest looking speed runs, no-hit runs out there. Let me know if you're going to pick up Hell Skate in the comments below. Peace.
