The plan is to contact different communities and organizations through various methods such as text, emails, technology like DOJO and IC, and phone calls. Families will be formally invited, and students will also bring home flyers and reminders. A bilingual parent bulletin board will be set up in the main office with school events, resources, phone numbers, and other helpful information. To continue the communication of the plan, we will be contacting the different communities involved. The organizations are being reached out to by myself and various members of the Walter Braxton STEAM Academy via text and emails. The families will be formally invited via technology, DOJO, text, IC, and phone calls. In addition, students will be bringing home flyers and reminders up to the day of the event. Lastly, a bilingual parent bulletin board will be made for the main office. This will have upcoming school events, resources, and commonly used phone numbers and other helpful hints for our family and community.
