In Amiens, there were many German soldiers at the train station. They tried to play with me, and while I don't think they had any other intentions, I got scared. One of them eventually played with me enough and kicked me hard in the rear. In that moment, because of the pain and humiliation, I decided to find those who resist. Humiliation is not acceptable to me, especially as a child. En arrivant à la gare d'Amiens, il y avait plein de soldats allemands. Ils ont essayé de jouer avec moi. Je ne dis pas qu'ils ont voulu faire plus, mais moi j'ai eu peur. Il y en a un qui finalement m'avait assez joué et il m'a choqué un grand bout de pied au derrière. Et là, sous l'effet de la douleur, mais surtout de l'humiliation, j'ai pensé, moi je vais les chercher, ceux qui résistent. L'humiliation, ce n'est pas possible. En tout cas, moi, petite, je n'admettais pas.
