This is the premiere performance of this work. It is an approximately 6 minute horn quartet. This piece strives to live up to the beauty of horn writing and lives as a testament to the best of what the horn has to offer. The composer was artistically inspired by the Rocky Mountains and the development matches the climb it takes to scale one. Written at a level for all skill sets and ages, “To Higher Peaks” hopes to push performers to their next level of playing.
