Intro Korea

During the Korean War, Canada fought alongside South Korea against North Korea. They contributed 30,000 troops and eight destroyers. Unfortunately, 516 Canadian soldiers lost their lives during the war. The Korean War, also known as the Forgotten War, was a war between South and North Korea. Canada fought for the UN with South Korea, and they sent over about 30,000 troops and eight destroyers. Destroyers are really big boats with big guns, and 516 Canadians died in the war.
