The message titled "Sealed, Settled, and Secure" discusses eternal security for the Body of Christ based on different programs in the Bible. The focus is on rightly dividing the Word of Truth, with Apostle Paul's letters to the Body of Christ being key. The belief is that believers are justified and sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption, with nothing able to separate them from God's love. The emphasis is on understanding one's identity in Christ and not subscribing to false beliefs that lead to confusion and doubt about salvation. Well, good morning. So, today's message I titled, Sealed, Settled, and Secure. What God Has Promised and Guaranteed to the Body of Christ. And this is based out of 2 Timothy 2.15 and Acts 17.11. So, if you ask most Christians whether a saved person can lose their salvation, and you'll get a fistful of verses fired from every corner of the Bible. Endure to the end. Abide in the vine. Fallen from grace. He that overcometh. Names blotted out of the Book of Life. And here's the problem. Every one of those verses is in the Bible. Every one of them is true. And not one of them was written to any of us in the Body of Christ. The question of eternal security is not settled by stacking verses. Everybody can have their ideas of what the scriptures mean, and what they believe, and that's fine. But scriptures is the final court of arbitration. And that's where I hold my view. What do scriptures say rightly divided? And so, when we ask ourselves that, which is rightly dividing the Word of Truth, we ask this by one question most Bible readers don't ask. Who is God talking to? Showed His study that I self-approved, unto God a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. When you go through our mail correctly, to us, the Body of Christ, the confusion completely evaporates. God is not double-minded. He's not an author of confusion. He has two distinct programs running through the scriptures. And I know people don't like to hear that, because, you know, they think that those are loopholes for people to make excuses and bring in wrong doctrine. Here's the thing. That would be the lie. The truth is, there is an earthly program with the nation of Israel. It's been prophesied since the beginning of the world. There's so much information, so much evidence of that, and it's a well-known fact. But there's also a heavenly program with the Body of Christ. And that was kept secret until it was revealed to the Apostle Paul. Each program has its own gospel proclamation, its own hope, its own term. But before you get too excited with me about that, have some patience with me, and let's get through to the end, and I think you'll see why I'm tying all this together this way. When you read Israel's, I'm going to call it male, I think it's a good identifier, as if it were addressed to the Body of Christ, you inherit Israel's conditions. And Israel's program had conditions, right? Ours does not. That is not wishful thinking. That is exactly what scriptures say in the letters actually addressed to us. You say, well, where are those letters at exactly? Well, the Apostle Paul was appointed as our apostle to the Body of Christ. Peter and the Twelve were the disciples of Christ, and they were appointed to the nation of Israel. And so they also have a proclamation. But ours is Romans through Philemon. And when you start at the right mailbox, it starts making sense. Let's look at Romans 11, 13. For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office. So, interestingly, Paul is saying exactly that. He is saying, I am the apostle of the Gentiles. Okay? The risen Lord gave Paul a distinct apostleship and a distinct message. The Gospel of Grace, Acts 20-24. The preaching of the cross as the very power of that salvation. 1 Corinthians 1.8. Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. Corinthians 15.3-4. Believe that, and God does the rest. And I'm talking about all of it. So, when we ask, what is promised and guaranteed to the body of Christ? We open Paul's epistles and let them speak. Here's what God Himself declares. He has already done for every believer in this dispensation of grace. That's what Paul declares. You are justified, declared righteous, freely. Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. That's Romans 3.21. Justified means God the Judge has already banged the gavel, not pardoned, and on probation. That's what a lot of the mixed gospel eventually leads us, right? You do all the things you do, and then hope that you don't stand up there one day and hear the words depart from you due of iniquity. It kind of leaves you guessing, like you can't really know. It's like you got to make sure that if, you know. So, let me get back to the text here. So, we're not pardoned, we're not on probation, we're declared righteous. And He did freely without a cause found in you. A verdict based on nothing you did cannot be overturned by something you do. Your sins, all of them, were dealt with at the cross. And you being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses. All trespasses. When Christ died for your sins, how many of your sins were still future? Every last one. The cross was not a partial payment awaiting your installments. It was a finished transaction. God is not up in heaven keeping a running tab on people whose account was settled two thousand years ago. You were sealed by the Holy Spirit with an expiration date on the seal, in whom ye also trusted after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also after ye believed were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of your inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession. And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Notice how long the seal holds. Not until you sin, not until you stumble, not until you have a bad year, until the day of redemption. God put his own spirit inside you as earnest. It's his money. It's his down payment. Do you think that it's not going to be enough? And on our inheritance. If one believer ever went to hell, God would lose his deposit. He's not going to lose his deposit. You were baptized by the Spirit into the body of Christ. That's why we call it the body of Christ. You are in his body, covered by his righteousness in Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jew or Gentile, whether we be bond or free. 1 Corinthians 12-13 The moment you believed, God placed you into Christ himself. You are a member of his body, bone of his bone. Ask yourself plainly, how does a member get amputated from the body of Christ? Where is the verse? There isn't one. Christ is not in heaven, losing fingers. There is no condemnation, and no separation. And Romans 8-1 says it. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8-38-39 Think about that. You know, I used to read that verse and think, oh man, that's wonderful news, you know. But it only applied for that day for me, for some reason. Because the next day, if I had a struggle, or I kept having, you know, things that were probably not aligning with my Christianity going on, whether it was a bad attitude, or whether, you know, sometimes we get in a funk. Sometimes, you know, we, you know, for whatever reason, we're just not, you know, operating like we should in a way that glorifies Christ. And it happens sometimes. It's not, you know, it's not unlikely that it's going to happen. And so, for the most part, though, you know, if we're reading Scripture, and we're staying in God's presence, we're reading the Word, and, you know, we're standing in our lane, and we know the promises, then we have a lot of freedom, and glory, and hope, and joy that is available to us every day. And so, we've got to get to the point in our walk with God today by saying, hey, it's time to empty the junk mail, okay? Because we've got a lot of junk mail in our belief system nowadays. We've got a lot of things that are sent to our inbox that isn't really for us. It's good information. It's true information. But it doesn't apply to us. So we don't need to subscribe to that and keep getting downloads that keep us off track, that keep our operating system in a funk, okay? So, that's the point I'm trying to say today. Your life is hid with Christ in God. The Bible says it's clear for Christians, for, I should say, yeah, for Christians, but for Body of Christ members, for ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. Colossians 3.3. Double custody there. Your life is hid with Christ, and Christ is hid in God. For you to be lost, someone would have to break into the Godhead and pull you out. Think about it. Also, you are complete in Him. Colossians 2.10. Complete. What do you add to complete? I don't know. That's also like the sins that people have, that they struggle with, they're struggling with today. You know, and they feel, they're just dragging their life. They feel so miserable because they're not measuring up. They just seem like they're always falling short, always falling short. What sin today is anyone committing that Christ hasn't already forgiven? I just want somebody to come and tell me so maybe I get some understanding. You know, that's the thing. There's nothing wrong with confessing our sin. I think, you know, it's a wonderful thing. I do it. I want God to know that when I mess up and I sin and I do things that I shouldn't do, I want Him to know that's not something I want to plan on continuing. That I need to realign, reassess, and do what's necessary to align myself and my conduct with God. But to know I'm already forgiven. I'm not any less forgiven. I don't need to ask forgiveness with my words in order for my forgiveness to be already taken care of. Now for me, I feel like I do need to say, because I am very grateful and very thankful, thank you for the forgiveness that you provide, God. Thank you for your death on the cross. Thank you that you provided forgiveness for me. Because if we think that saying, please forgive me, Lord, or going to some mass or going through some kind of a ceremony is somehow going to forgive sins, you're mistaken big time, okay? Because anybody that studied anything about how sins are forgiven, we know that it requires a blood sacrifice. So the forgiveness of sins requires blood. And it's just not reasonable to think that every time somebody goes and asks forgiveness of sins, that Christ comes down and dies again on the cross and sheds his blood. That's just absurd. So we need to stop taking the traditions of men and ideas about our forgiveness and try to associate it to us, okay? That's just not real, okay? Somebody's going to say, oh, what about 1 John 1, 9? If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. And he has. And he has done that. But again, 1 John 1, 9, that's not our mail, okay? That's to the kingdom believers, the Jews. And why is there a difference there? Well, this is what's going to really set people back a little bit. The truth of the matter is, the Jews were required to do outward works to show their faith, right? We show our faith by our believing. That's what we do today in the body of Christ. But Jews were required to show outward works, all right? So that's a lot of what's going on in today's society as you have the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. And people are loving Jesus. And we all love Jesus. And we know He's the King of kings and Lord of lords. But here's the thing, you know. Jesus was dealing with the nation of Israel. And people lose their minds when you tell them that. Because they don't want to believe that what was going on in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John was not for us today. Sure, a lot of what is said, we can apply to ourselves today. But He was not speaking to us, okay? He was speaking to the nation of Israel and to their program, okay? And for people that are really wanting to be honest and for people that are really wanting to follow what Scripture is saying, Jesus said, I have not come but for the lost sheep of Israel. He even told the disciples, go ye not into the house of the Samaritan. Stay out of those doorways, okay? Only to the Jews. And there was a reason behind that. And Jesus knew. There was a plan for the Gentiles that were coming, right? But He was fulfilling the promise that was made to the nation of Israel. I don't understand why people can't get their head around that. Jesus had made a promise, not to the Gentiles, to the Jews, to be their Messiah, okay? And trust me, this isn't leaving us out of something, okay? We've got something even greater, in my opinion. Maybe if I was a Jew, I wouldn't feel that way. Because, you know, Jews, their hope and future, and what they wanted was Jesus sitting on the throne to rule over them as king. And He will come and sit on the throne of David and He will rule in the kingdom, right? But we are told that we are seated in the heavenlies. So, because, it's like I told you, I'm one who follows what the scriptures say. I'm not following man's traditions or opinions or how people say this is how you believe. I'm looking at what the scriptures are saying. And the scriptures are saying exactly that. They're saying that Israel has a program and we have a program. Now, here's the thing. Israel doesn't have anything going on today. You know, they were put on pause, okay? And that's why we still have Hebrews and Peter and James and John. Because all those books are still applicable to the Jews in the future. What does God say about His word? It is the same forever, today, and always. We have no problem about looking at Revelations and saying, oh, yeah, we see that's futuristic. But people will even take and put us in Revelations. That was only to the Jews. We're not going to be there during the Tribulation. I know people have their arguments. I know some people, pre-middle, whatever. It's just not going to happen. Even in the churches that write in the first parts of Revelation, those are all talking to Jewish churches and people that are in that. It's all Jewish context. You know, take some time and read through Philippians, or Romans through Philippians, and you'll see. Look at the tone and what Paul is saying in the words. Because words have meanings, and they have certain things. But if you notice, it doesn't have this covenant ideology going through the thread. You know, why? Because we are in Christ, right? We are a new man, a new creature. We're outside of what was promised to Israel. We have our own promise. And that promise has been sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. Okay? I know this is a lot. It's hard stuff to take in. But man, this is the deception that has gone on in our lifetime, in our belief system. We have been bamboozled. They have taken, since out of the dark ages, they have taken a mixed works theology for the Jews to show their outward faith, with faith believing that shows our faith for the body of Christ. You can't say in the book of James, faith without works is dead. You show me your works by what you say. I'll show you my faith by what I do. Probably butchered that. But the truth of the matter is, you understand what I'm saying. He was clear. Faith without works is dead. You've got to have works with faith. But yet, over in Ephesians 2.8.9, what are we told? It's not by works of the flesh, lest any man should boast. But only by Christ. Right? And then some people say, oh, well, you know, James is talking about, you know, he's talking about good works and things like that. No, he's not. Not in context. He's talking about how they walk to show their faith. They show it by what they do. Okay? Not what they think. And it's important we understand the distinction because what did Christ, what did he do? He did an outward work. His outward work was the shedding of his blood. It was his death that paid our sin debt. It was his death that covered the nation of Israel. He gave them all the opportunity. And what did they do? They rejected him. And because God had a different program, they weren't accepting Christ, right? The body of Christ, we accept him. And we say, yes, we believe. Right? And there were many Jews that did too. But they're looking for an earthly kingdom. But our conversation, the Bible says, is in heaven, in the heavenlies. And sometimes heaven is, Paul says, the kingdom of heaven. He'll say that. But remember, context is always king. So, I just want to kind of explain what my passion is here today. My passion is just to say, if we don't build on a right foundation, if we don't build on the foundation that was given to us by the apostle Paul, which was Christ who laid it. And Christ laid the foundation. I mean, he is the foundation. Paul built on that foundation. And we are to build on that foundation as well. And we've got to ask ourselves, what building material are we building with? Are we building with inferior building materials? Are we building with things that are really not designed for our building? Because even though it may be right for Israel, it's not right for us. Are we building with things that glorify ourselves, that build ourselves up to make ourselves feel good? Wood, hay, stubble. Now, our building material has to be with the right material. We are living sacrifices. We are to let our love be without dissimilation. We are to allow the good works that well up inside of us, because of the Holy Spirit, begin walking in those things. That the Holy Spirit and that God will get all glory, so that when we stand before the beam of judgment, and the judgment seat of Christ, we'll have something to show. So that when we look into the eyes of Christ, when we walk into heaven, we're not walking in saying, I'm sorry, all my, I didn't do anything for you. Everything burnt up out there. Because it says that, you know, in the beam of judgment, that if all the works burn up and there's nothing to show, the man is still saved. Yet so is by fire. Because it's not based on your performance or what you do. It's based on what Christ did. But you enter into heaven empty-handed, looking at Christ. And when the fruition of the truth of all he did, and just the reality of what you were saved from comes to fruition, and you stop and you think, I didn't have any appreciation or any kind of service at all for my gratitude at all. God doesn't want you to have that. He doesn't want you to feel that loss, but you will suffer loss. That's what scriptures say. And I don't want that for any of us today. So this whole session today is not for you to say I believe anything, you know, say, oh, yeah, this and that. What I'm asking you to do is go to scriptures and look at it. You know, look at it and humor me a little. I mean, you know, think of it in terms of Israel being one program and the body of Christ being another, and see if it doesn't fix all the struggles that we have with understanding scripture. See if it doesn't start to automatically start to sort itself out. Because it did for me. And, you know, I'm kind of a little bit apprehensive about even preaching this kind of stuff. Because people get upset about it. They don't like it. They think I'm a lunatic. But will they go and look at scriptures? I don't know if they do. I don't know if they go and check it out. I don't really. I think what most people do, they're not, and they just go back and settle in to what they believe and try to forget what I said and let it not bother them so they can go back doing their daily schedule, their daily program. Maybe they don't want to do the work it takes to look up the truth. Maybe they think that if they got into reading the Bible, they wouldn't understand it anyway, and they need somebody to tell them. That's a lie of Satan. King James Bible, written on a fifth grade level. Look it up if you don't believe me. Anybody can understand it. You just got to allow it to speak for itself. Quit allowing our traditions and the opinions and the voices that said certain things mean certain things just for a minute and allow the Bible to say what it's saying to you. And the Holy Spirit will give you so much hope and freedom, so much joy you won't know what to do with it, because it is exactly what happened to me. Forty-five years of performance gospel. God wiped out. Wiped out. I was praying for years. God, help me with joy. How can I go and share the gospel of Jesus Christ? How can I go and be a witness for you, God, with my poor attitude that I have? There's no hope. You can see just by looking at me there ain't no hope in me. I just wasn't a likable person. I probably still ain't to a certain degree. But when it comes to Christ and my joy for God, people know it because I love Him and I'm thankful for Him. And it's all because I learned 2 Timothy 2.15, Rightly divide the word of truth to be one who is approved unto God, who needs not be ashamed. Amen. Check it out. Anyway, I love you all. Don't hate me for breaking this down today. Just consider it and think about it. Do some research. You're going to have people saying, oh, that's nonsense. Oh, that's dispensationalism, this, that, and the other. No, it's just the Bible. It's just the Bible. You know, I went through all that, too, and I thought, oh, this is just kind of a thing or whatever. But when you read it and you compare the verse and you line it up and you give yourself the imagination to say, well, what if that was Israel? You know, and all of a sudden you realize you're looking at the truth. And then what is the evidence of it? Your eyes are opened up. You begin to see all of it and then joy floods your soul. That's not somebody that's trying to force something. That's the truth coming to life. Anyway, love you all. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we just thank you for the word today. We thank you for your Holy Spirit. We just pray your blessing over this study, and we pray that those who are listening would hear your voice, Lord, and hear what I'm saying without trying to defend their position or their belief system. I know it's hard to do, but to give it a chance. You know, it's better that we learn that, hey, we were kind of duped a little bit, and then to find out that we were brought near because the Holy Spirit loves us and he helps us to hear the truth in real time. I ask in Jesus' name, amen.
