Today we'll be going over I am who I am. Imagine a world where you could be whoever you want without the expectations of making money or fame. When you're growing up, it's hard to find who you are. You are all raised with a dire question, so what do you want to be when you grow up? They expect an answer that shows you have ambition to pursue a profitable career. I want to suggest being careful with this mindset. If you are anything like me, you will keep searching for an answer only to fall short of a definitive career choice. I love everything surrounding wellness. I have always wanted many certifications and wells of knowledge in many areas of life. The ultimate goal for me is to gain wisdom. Now that might not sound so profitable because of how vague of a career, but I don't care. We'll be going over a couple steps to be who you are through a winning, sustainable mindset. Lesson one, understand your piece. Understanding and creating a connection with yourself is the best place to figure out who you are. I can bet you already have an idea of who you are. Last note, the environment around us can influence our judgment, so reflect back to a place where you sought peace. Personally, I believe trees are life and they make me well. Around age 14, I bought myself a longboard because I just felt I had to get it. This is important because no matter the size, these inclinations are your higher self giving you tools to find yourself. So I researched and I bought myself a cheap $50 longboard from eBay with all the money I had to start my ventures outdoors. Long story short, I experienced so much peace just by going outside to feel the sun, the wind, and see all the trees. I gained a fascination with flowers and nature views. Mind you, I was skating in a suburban neighborhood in Kissimmee, Florida. But anyways, any time I felt like my feelings were too overwhelming, I grabbed my beat up longboard, I screamed, I'll be back, then I immediately went for a ride. I don't come back until I'm well again. In those moments of peace, I found myself, I talked to myself, and I reflected. Yes, I was listening to good music, but you know, that's my peace. Find who you are and figure out what is your peace. Now if you're having any trouble thinking about what actually brings you peace, I am a wellness life coach and you can come speak to me to help figure out who you are and what brings you peace. But I'll also make another post on that. Lesson two, set your peace at base level. This lesson was tricky and it takes a lot of time. If your base level is below peace, we have a lot of work to do. So what is an unpeaceful mind? This is when your mind is restless, paranoid, pessimistic, and presentless and are ways you cannot be grounded and through groundedness you will have peace. Base level is basically how you feel on a day to day basis, a normal feeling that you have. Is it peaceful? Is it unpeaceful? There are many ways to stay grounded that I have gathered in my years of searching for peace. As previously mentioned, nature is always a great place to start. If you're not used to nature, I recommend buying a board game, a frisbee, a hammock with a book, and books on learning how to create a fire or even build a basket with pine needles. Personally, I love learning about mushrooms, herbs, plants, and how things interact and these are all topics that are heavily researched and documented. By simply ordering a good guidebook online for any of these subjects will give you all the knowledge you will need to go out and explore. Essentially, we want to have fun in nature and see the beauty in all. Experience life. Experience the life we miss out on because of how we live today. Since we live so differently compared to centuries of living, our bodies are begging to touch grass and feel the air, hold a rock and hug a tree, and become familiar with the environment around you. In this, you will find peace of mind or, of course, whatever brings you peace and you want to set this at your base level, that feeling in those moments, in every day. That's what you want to feel, so set it at your base level. The only expectation you should have to be in a steady state of peace. Life does happen and stress does come, but I need you to be aware of those deviations. When do they happen? What causes them? How does this make you feel? Here is an emotional identification chart that everyone should utilize. You can find it on my website, kingdomofbonus.com, or even search the feeling circle or an emotional identification chart. Take a screenshot and favorite that photo to find it faster. I'm not going to keep you all for long. I know many of us heard that before and it's not necessarily true, but this time it is. My goal is to launch this site on a good note. Groundwork is essential to utilizing the information that I will be sharing. Holistic healing encompasses the mind, body, and spirit, and everything that makes one whole. We will talk about a wide array of things for our personal growth because this is our foundation. This brings me to my final suggestion. Look out for my next post, Be the Tree. It's all about groundwork and developing roots to start your journey full of wellness. Thank you to everyone for reading and listening to my post on peace and how it can be involved in finding yourself, understanding yourself, and being you. I am who I am. I love you guys. Thank you so much for listening.
