The mayor of Rellingen, Mark Trampel, and his colleague Jessica Müller are introducing a new community podcast to inform and engage Rellingen residents. They discuss upcoming events like the open-air cinema, the city cycling initiative, and future festivals. They share details about ticket sales, film selections, and activities planned for the summer and autumn, emphasizing community involvement and support from local businesses. The podcast aims to provide in-depth discussions on local topics and foster connections within the community. Hello Rellingen, hello world. My name is Mark Trampel and I am the mayor of our beautiful community. I am looking forward to presenting the Rellingen community podcast in the future and yes, as the community is special, this podcast is also special, because before we give out the first regular issue, we give out a special issue today. We report here from the podcast room at the Kasper Vogt school. Warm greetings to the school, that we are allowed to use the room and the technology here. Yes, what are we up to with the podcast? In the future, we want to inform you about current topics in the Rellingen community, but at the same time we want to prepare certain topics here in this format every month. And yes, if I'm honest, today we didn't plan a regular issue at all, but we're sitting here and trying it out a bit and we'll think about whether we'll publish the whole thing as a special issue . We, that means I'm not alone here, but I'm greeting my colleague Jessica Müller. Jessica Müller has been responsible for public relations in the Rellingen community for a long time and she will also take care of the podcast here technically in the future and do the editorial work together with me. Jessica, tell me, what do the listeners expect here in the future? Yes, the community is already informing about the classic media work, i.e. about the homepage, about social media and for a year and a half now about a WhatsApp channel, about topics from the community. And yes, the podcast is now the new format where we can go into special topics or simply explain certain topics in more detail. And of course we also want to get into conversation with Rellingers. Yes, I think it will be very exciting what we have planned here, even if we don't reinvent the podcast ourselves now. I think it's a great format to be able to talk a little more in detail about local topics. You have been active in the Rellingen community for a long time yourself, but most of the time you are behind the camera or have the microphone in your hand. But I think a lot of people are interested in who actually does the public relations work here in the community. Do you like to tell a few words about yourself personally? With pleasure. Yes, I come from Rellingen. I actually went to the Kasper Voigt school here, back then it was still the Egenbüttel school center, went to school and am now sitting here in the podcast room, among us what used to be the bicycle stand and did my training at the Rellingen community and have been there for over 20 years now. With the Corona pandemic, public relations work also started. And since then I have been responsible for public relations work and all events in the outdoor area. Yes, that's right. Actually, it's a bit of a return to our old school from Spa. I also went to school here. It was significantly smaller back then, significantly fewer students. We are now here with 1,300 students. One of the largest schools that we have in the Pinneberg district, so really great development here at the school site. My thanks go out to everyone who has contributed in the last few years. One question, I'm doing a podcast now. Do you listen to podcasts yourself? Actually not. That's why I'm a bit excited and it's a completely new project. Of course also in the implementation and yes, I'm curious to see how it will develop. I actually became a podcast junkie. In the past I always thought, yes, it's an interview. Okay. But now you can see me very often on the weekend, also with my wife in fact, very often walking around with headphones to listen to all my podcasts from Apokalypse and Filtercafé, Machtwechsel or Ronzheimer. That's what I always like to do at home or in the garden. Let's see if we can be as successful as the other podcasts. I'm good at things. Me too. That's why let's try to offer a bit of content here to the listeners. It's not a regular issue. We're doing a special issue here. We're just trying a few things out. Nevertheless, of course, all listeners should be a bit smarter after the episode than they were before. Let's take a look at the You Know. The podcast will be released somewhere in the middle of June. We have a few things left to do in the municipality in June. The football world championship has started. But let's have a look. We still have a big event as a municipality, the open-air cinema. Exactly. The summer holidays are ahead and, as every year, we hold the open-air cinema last Monday before the holidays on the sports field behind the town hall and look forward to three films again. At 3 p.m. the Heinz-Films for the smallest visitors and then we have the School of the Magical Animals. In the evening we have Extravorst. Do you already know it? No, I haven't seen it yet, but I'm really looking forward to it. Who always decides on the films that are shown there? Yes, there is actually always a selection that is made available to us. Most of the time I already have a small list of favorites, but then I agree with colleagues again. And it's actually the case that the interests clash a lot. But so far I've actually always listened a bit to my gut feeling and then decided at the end. Yes, so far my film has never come into play, but that's also completely fine. So far we have always had really well-visited events. How many viewers did we have in the last few years? Exactly, we always had around 1,500 visitors. We were actually always really lucky with the weather. Of course we hope that again. Good weather is ordered and you can already buy tickets in advance, as in the last few years. Pre-sale the tickets cost 3 euros per person and per film. And on the day itself it will also work via the daily cash register and then costs 5 euros. You can buy the tickets at the bookshop Lesestoff, at Edeka Appel in Kruppunder and on Tuesday and Friday at the town hall, at the town hall information. But there is nothing in the combo package, but 3 euros per person per film. Exactly, that's the way it is. We are also supported by Rellinger companies that partly sponsor the cinema. And for this reason, the relatively low entry into the cinema is still necessary, because we also have to pay film licenses. I don't think you can get 3 euros into a regular movie today. Well, it's also a very special atmosphere on the sports field Open Air. It's a great atmosphere, actually. There is also food and drink, but you can also bring your own food and drink. Meet nice Rellinger and friends. Wonderful, I think we can look forward to a merry summer afternoon. We all worked hard on the pedals and took part in the city cycling. Is there also the victory celebration in between this year? Exactly, at the School of the Magical Animals. The film ends around half past seven, quarter past seven. There will also be the victory celebration again for the best cyclists, for the best schools, for the most active teams. But all cyclists can also get a medal like in recent years. So anyone who has cycled for Relling can then pick up a medal on the sports field. And then, as I said, there is the victory celebration before it goes to the film Extra Wurf. Great thing. We all drove along. I was also able to contribute 80 kilometers. During that time it was certainly not the most efficient, but I think we did a really good job as a community. 100,000 kilometers was the goal. I think we're actually well above that. Exactly. Then we can also celebrate a bit as a community that all the drivers are there. Right. Very nice. Open-air cinema. We're all looking forward to it. It's a great event. The weather is great. Great movies. So come over. Buy the tickets beforehand or use the day ticket for spontaneous ones. It will be a great afternoon, a great evening. And if all goes well, there may also be a Germany game afterwards. We have actively decided not to show that, because just such a public viewing would mean too much. It's relatively late on a Monday evening. We've already had a few inquiries, but we deliberately decided against it at first. Not to show the game, but to concentrate on the three movies. But you can watch a nice movie with us first and then watch the Germany game, as long as we get further, which we all assume. Yes, open-air cinema. We also have a few events this year that will follow. What is waiting for us? Exactly. The question is, what's coming? What have we already had? We are actually relatively active with our events. We had the spring festival, we had the community flea market with over 800 booths in the community and now the bike jam and after the summer holidays the apfelfest on September 26th and 27th. The organizer is officially Treffpunkt Relling, but we as a community are now also members of Treffpunkt and actively support it from the town hall. And yes, we have made the festival more lively again, bigger and that will be the case this year as well. There are a lot of new booths again, a lot of action and again the club mile, where the Relling clubs can present themselves. And the good thing is that many Relling companies are now also simply presenting themselves at the festival with an action, with an information booth and simply actively participate. So I'm really looking forward to the festival. I think it will be really, really good with live music. And yes, then it's back to autumn. We still have a light-up, maybe a little evening, a little after work, where we want to switch on the Christmas lighting together. Yes, and then Christmas market is already on December 5th and 6th. Yes, we have also ordered corresponding weather. It's not quite as hot as it is in summer, but we're looking forward to the first snowflakes. So again a decent program, which we still have ahead of us, but we already had this year. Maybe for those who are not quite so familiar with the Relling club scene. Treffpunkt Rellingen is a club, that is the connection of the companies that are mainly active on the main street, but also in other parts of town. Where they have simply set themselves the goal of the Rellingen community with various actions, whether it is the Relling voucher, various events, network among each other for the companies, partly also with public decoration, simply to make the Rellingen community a little more attractive. And also at this point a big thank you to the commitment that prevails among the buyers and for the good cooperation, the big one goes out here now. Yes, you organize or with the meeting point together we do the events. If money wouldn't matter at all, what would Relling expect for an event? Which artist would have to be there from your point of view? Wow, that's actually a difficult question. I have to think about it for a moment. So I would actually, I can't be an artist exactly. No, you would like to be. I don't think so, I don't know. Do you have any wish candidates? So I actually think that I would rather make such a big festival, where you can see several stories over the year. I actually still dream of an ice rink in Rellingen. Is there an artist for you who you would like to get to Rellingen? So I'm musically relatively well prepared. So I would probably make a triad out of it, that we would have Anne Rieu, that we would have fat bread here again. That would fit, wouldn't it? I don't know if you can hear it now, but Relling would be ready for a reunion of fat bread. And yes, the conclusion could be pink. Pink? So I think we would have mapped all genres musically there. I think it could be a nice evening. We can always think about what it would cost financially. Yes, it's always about money not playing a role. Unfortunately, it usually plays a role. But who knows, maybe the artists will hear us and are interested in playing here in the community five times. The invitation is out of here. Yes, the next big festival will be held in 2028. Then we have Relling for 888 years. Relling celebrates 888 years. Yes, we are actually already working a bit in the background. It's not that long anymore. And I can already tell you that we are planning several smaller events during the year. But in any case, there is also a big festival weekend planned, where we of course also had to make reservations. A large party tent was reserved, among other things. Yes, we are already looking forward to that. And again there will be the support of many Relling associations and also Relling companies. Only together we can actually design it very attractively. Can you remember in 1990 the big festival? That was the last big community anniversary that was celebrated. 850 years Relling. Can you remember that? I was three years old. I can't remember it anymore, no. But of course we know a lot of pictures. So this move with the decorated cars. We now have a lot of archives in the fundus. That was really amazing. But you, I think, you are a little older. Yes, I was nine years old. I grew up in the main street. And then we had the privilege of being able to look at this move directly from the balcony. And I still have pictures in my head. Yes, just a nice memory that we have of the festival. That would certainly not be repeated one-to-one with 2028. But I think it will also be a great event there. Exactly, it won't be Rosenfels 2.0. It will be something else. I'm a very good thing. Me too. And yes, let's be surprised what we will achieve there in the next few months in terms of planning. Yes, I think that's a bit about the big events that are planned. I would like to give you a little outlook. There is still a lot going on in June. Among other things, the foundation laying of the new building at the Erich Gessner school is planned. And the new three-field sports hall and the bookshop for Grouponda. The construction started with the earthworks in the last few weeks. And slowly the floor plate is being cast. And yes, we will slowly see a high-rise building. We celebrate the foundation laying at the end of June. Here at the Kasper Vogt school, the graduation celebrations take place for all school graduates. For the ESA, for the MSA and for the Abitur. I'm always happy that I'm invited and can be a guest at the school graduation events. And yes, I think a big party will also be held. The sun and wind fire, here again on the sports field Relling Ort, is organized by the volunteer fire brigade Rellingen. And that's a little outlook, actually. Our first regular issue, which we will release at the beginning of July. In the future, we will always do it in the podcast in such a way that we take a little look back at what we did last month. And give a more detailed overview of what will come next month. And then we will always have a main part. In the main part, we will always have focus topics, where we have conversation partners from the community or people who work for the community. And yes, I am particularly pleased that we are dedicating the first regular issue to the volunteer fire brigade. The Armenian community Rellingen, two places would be the volunteer fire brigade Rellingen and the volunteer fire brigade Igenbüttel. For me, the fire brigade is a bit like the royal discipline of the honorary office. Simply because of the time intensity and also the responsibility that is carried out there. And I'm glad that we will have two comrades here as guests. Who will report a bit about their everyday life as comrades in a volunteer, in a honorary fire brigade. I think we will learn a lot of exciting things. And we can all look forward to that. I just see something. I just see your Relling socks. Yes. That reminds me of something. We have developed a Rellingen merch shop as a community. You can also see a lot of people walking around with hats. Can you tell us something about that? Exactly. So we have actually found that the Rellingers like to be Rellingers and would like to show that. And that's what the Relling hats came from a few years ago. Within the shortest time, after one and a half weeks, I think we sold over 900 hats. And then there was simply the request whether we would like to sell more merch. And we as a community have actually been looking for a local partner. The company AusPrinzip, which implements this for us, so there is the possibility that there is the Relling merch in the online shop. You can also find it on our website. In part, there is the merch, but also in the local trade, at the book trading ready-to-wear and at the health care center CTP Helz. Exactly. The latest product are actually Relling socks. So you can actually dress up from head to toe in the Relling look. That means the front hat starts and then it goes up to the socks. And it's just a great quality. So it's organic cotton, also the clothes. And that's why, of course, it's just a bit higher quality and also a bit more affordable. But it's just a very high-quality product and a sweater that you don't buy every week. So it also lasts a few washes? In any case. I mean, the event season is still coming. And there will definitely be some with Relling T-shirts running over the open-air cinema or over the Apfelfest. There are Relling socks. So if you really want to look in the shop or if you're looking for gifts, then you can find it there. Yes, exciting. I think I'm almost in possession of all the products we offer there. But I think that brings us to the end of our first special edition, which was a bit of a test. How long have we been talking to each other now, Jessica? Look, 18 minutes and 12 seconds. 18 minutes. Now we may cut a little more, maybe it will be a little less. But yes, 18 minutes, actually. How does the podcast go? You're a professional. So it goes two and a half hours. But I think we don't want to encourage the listeners to do that. But the goal is to offer 30 minutes, three quarters of an hour in the future. Especially if we have it on the main part, where we just want to talk to each other a little more in detail. What do you think? Do we want to offer this to the public as a special task? Do we dare? I think so. I'll cut it and then I think it should fit. Yes, we will publish it in the next few days. Although we didn't have that many hooks, did we? Yes, we will. But I think it's also authentic. So if you talk to each other for 20 minutes, then there is also a jester in the normal conversation. We don't want to tune ourselves artificially here, but we just want to talk authentically with each other. And I think we did that. Give us some feedback on that. We're just experimenting a bit. We would like to record this new format as a podcast. We just want to take you a little more with us in this format, what's going on in Rellingen. Discuss a bit more intense topics. Whether this is simply possible via classic press work, via social media posts. To give a little more background. And just comment where possible. Feel free to give us suggestions. We will certainly also do an FAQ episode, where we collect questions beforehand, which we will discuss a little more in detail here. We look forward to your feedback. Also welcome criticism. Yes, as I said, at the beginning of July, the first regular episode of the Rellingen Gemeinde podcast will be released. Gemeinde? Gemeinde, exactly. As a North German, you have to say something else. Accommodate. So the Rellingen Gemeinde podcast with the focus on voluntary fire brigade. We look forward to it. I hope you do too. Until then, all the best and bye. Bye.
