Graduation can be scary, but many people feel the same way. Growing up comes with responsibilities like taxes and bills, but losing friends is even scarier. We also face the reality of mortality as we age. However, it's important to focus on what we will do in the future, not what we missed out on. Be positive and think about the amazing things we can do. Cherish the friendships we had and be grateful for the experiences we had before saying goodbye. I know a lot of people watching this are probably scared of graduation. I personally never really feared it until this year, and it really does creep up on you. But I promise that you are not alone. You'd be surprised how many people fear graduation in the era preceding high school. But this fear is totally valid. Graduating and growing up is terrifying for a lot of people. On paper, there's taxes, rent, and bills, which is scary on its own, but what's more scary in my opinion is growing apart from your friends, losing the ones you love. People aging also comes with the reality of mortality, but it's important to focus on a lot more than that. I tell this to my friends all the time, but rather than focusing on what you could have done, focus on what you will do. And not in some sad, scary way, but in a positive way. Think about the amazing things you could do rather than all the things you missed out on. Be happy you got to experience those friendships rather than be sad that they're ending. Be happy with the fact that you got to experience something before you miss the chance to say goodbye.
