B - Introduction

From remote Lemhi Pass in the mountains of Idaho we will travel east into Montana through areas familiar to Shoshone guide Sacajawea as she guided the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery expedition of 1804-1806. We will visit ancient landmarks such as Beaverhead Rock, Twin Buffalo Rocks and the site where Sacajawea was captured by Hidatsa Indians and taken east before joining the expedition. Shoshone voices tell the story of sites that were and still are significant to her people.
