You Only Want My Bread

YHVH spoke to the speaker about Ecclesiastes 9 and the significance of the Passover season. YHVH emphasized that he has already accepted their deeds and wants to bless them. The speaker discusses the symbolism of bread and wine, representing righteousness and the Holy Spirit. YHVH has been testing their faithfulness and now wants to release blessings and fulfill promises. The speaker connects this to the parable of the talents, where being faithful with little leads to being entrusted with more. YHVH operates according to seasons and times, preparing and developing individuals for each stage. Understanding their place in YHVH's plan allows for growth and fulfillment of purpose. You know, that was a word from YHVH this morning, Neil, this afternoon, sorry, yep. That was, that was, um, clothed in righteousness and, uh, because he has accepted us, he said. He has accepted us. And, um, I'm starting off with a passage of scripture, but, um, from Ecclesiastes chapter 9. And, uh, I've spoken from this before, Ecclesiastes chapter 9. I quite like the chapter and I haven't looked at it for a long time. But YHVH drew my attention to it again today. Uh, I won't tell you how he did it, you'll think I'm stupid. No, I'm not telling you. Just to tease you. Eh? No, no, nothing, nothing whatsoever. There was a couple of days ago that it happened and I knew that YHVH spoke to me. But we're in the middle of unleavened bread week, Passover, Pesach, it's one and the same. And it's an eight day thing from the 14th to the 23rd. So, it's, um, it is seven days of unleavened bread and the day of preparation or the day of Yeshua's death, Passover day. And, um, everything, everything YHVH does has been relating around that theme. And, of course, that's natural because that's the season we're in. It is Passover. And we are in unleavened bread. This Sabbath is the Sabbath in the middle of the two Sabbaths. So, you've got the first day of Sabbath and the last day of unleavened bread is Sabbath. And you've got the normal seven day Sabbath sandwiched in the middle there somewhere. So, um, YHVH's pretty tall, isn't he? If I move this way a little bit I can still see, you know, he's not hidden behind this little giant there. Um, but, so, anyhow, YHVH gave me this couple of verses and, uh, yeah, well there you are, there it is again. So, Ecclesiastes 9, verses 7 and 8. Go eat your bread with gladness and drink your wine with a merry heart. That makes a lot of people happy, doesn't it? Yeah. For Elohim has already accepted your deeds. Let your clothes always be white and do not spare oil on your head. That's exactly what we were saying before. And here I look at these verses and I say, well, why are you showing me these? Father, what's the emphasis? Then I realised it is Passover, it is unleavened bread. And here YHVH is connecting the dots for me. Go eat your bread with gladness. Drink your wine with a merry heart. It's the bread and the cup. The bread and the cup. For Elohim has already accepted your deeds. And he just put that into my spirit. YHVH has already accepted your deeds. You don't have to try. You don't have to think that you've somehow got to prove yourself. You don't have to become something in order that I will be pleased with you. I've already accepted your deeds. I'm thinking of the fellowship. He has accepted us for who we are. We have walked this pathway for 24 years. And we have been proving and demonstrating our faithfulness to YHVH no matter what we have had to go through to get to this point in time. And he is saying I've already accepted your deeds. We've entered into Passover time. We've entered into this season of the beginning of the festival seasons from month one to month seven, from Passover to Tabernacles. It is the season that we're in. The most important one of these seasons that we've ever been in. And we've been faithful right through every season. We've been following new moons. We've been following Sabbath holidays during the week because they're high Sabbaths and endeavouring to get a day off work and come and gather together and just honour him in the best way that we can. Sometimes we could, sometimes we couldn't. But we always did what we felt YHVH said. Honour my word. Honour my word. Be faithful to what I show you in my word and I will be with you in the process. And here we find that it goes on to say YHVH has already accepted your deeds. Let your clothes always be white. That's the bread in the first verse. That's your bread. Go eat your bread with gladness. That is our righteousness. The bread is our bread. It is the word of YHVH. We take the bread. And the truth of the word is our bread. The word is that which washes us clean. We honour the word. We walk in the word. We take a hold of the word. We say let the word of YHVH wash over me. Let the word of YHVH cleanse me. Let the word of YHVH remove from me that which is not of his word. It's the washing of the word. And so he says go eat your bread. Let your clothes always be white. That is the righteousness that we have honoured and walked in in the truth of his word. Do not spare oil on your head. That's the cup. That's the wine. It's the Ruach HaKadosh. The symbol of the Ruach. Wine is a symbol. The grape juice, the fruit of the vine is a symbol of Ruach as well as the blood of Yeshua. And he says do not spare the oil. It is the way in which so much of Scripture is written in that poetic form where there is symbolism here and another verse there and they're talking to each other and they're using different symbols to say the same thing. And here we find that he is using go drink your wine with a merry heart. Do not spare oil on your head. And I'm saying Father we do not want to spare the oil on our head. Let the oil of your spirit, let the oil of your Ruach flow down upon us. Anoint us with fresh oil. Amen. May Ruach be poured out upon us. May the oil that flows down the head of Aaron and down his beard and onto his clothes. May the garment of the High Priest may it be our portion of the anointing and the richness and the flow of the oil of Ruach HaKadosh. And I felt YHVH was saying this is the season you're in. This is the season you are in. I have accepted your deeds and I want to bless you. I want you to know that you are walking before me in robes of righteousness in white linen. I want you to know that I want to pour out Ruach HaKadosh, the oil of anointing upon your heads. I want to do the work that I've spoken to you about for years. I'm bringing you to that place where I want to release into your lives and your purpose and reason for being the very promises I've been making and you've been faithful to them. Faithful to them. Even though you've been waiting patiently for their arrival and for the timing to be right for me to release you into something. He says, I have accepted your deeds. Yeshua says, the Word says, if we are faithful in little He will entrust us with much. There's always a testing process. There's always a time frame. There is always that aspect where YHVH is watching to see whether we will be faithful in the little. He says, I have tested you. I have seen you. You have been faithful to me. Faithful, faithful, faithful. Now I can trust you with much. What a promise. What a day. What a truth. Yeshua told the parable and he said, this ruler gave his servants ten miners, five miners, one miners. He said, while I'm gone be productive with my money. Be productive with what I've given you. Use it to advance my kingdom, my property, my business. He comes back. When he comes back and he says and brings them together and says what did you do with the ten miners I gave you? And he said, I made ten more. And he says, well done. I will put you in charge of ten cities in my kingdom. What did you do with your five? I gained five more. Well done. I will put you in charge of five cities in my kingdom. Because all the parables are about the kingdom and the second coming and the reign and the rule of Yeshua on the earth and who's going to rule and reign with him. And so the truth is Yeshua, and of course one just buried it and did nothing with the miner, the talents that were given him. And just went about daily life and routine as if it didn't matter. I haven't lost his money I haven't done anything with it and I'll just give it back to him when he comes. And of course the master wasn't very happy and said well, throw him out. So, but what is YHVH saying? He's saying you've been faithful with little I'm going to give you much. You've been faithful with the ten and you've doubled it I can trust you with running ten cities for me. So YHVH to me was just it was just that blessing of I have already accepted your deeds. You have come to that place where I'm wanting to bless you I'm wanting to use you, I'm wanting to do everything that I've been talking to you about. So, I want to do something a bit different today. I have not the slightest idea how long it might take. But you know YHVH shows that there are seasons and times in the way that he works and functions. That he has seasons and he has times when he has determined in his own mind that this will happen then and then and then and in this order and I will come back at a certain time and I know when that is and you don't. So don't get caught off guard and think I'm never going to come. I have my times, I have my time frames I have the right time when I will send my son to give his life on a tree, a stake. I have a right time when I will send him back again. I have a time when I'll deal with this nation, this nation and this nation. He has times and there are stages of growth and development and release. A parent doesn't release a child into something that they're not ready for. Doesn't say go and butcher this sheep for me and he's never held a knife in his life or go and fix this for me and he hasn't got a clue what they're looking at. And so there is a release time, there is a training, developing, growing understanding period in our life and there are stages and growths and developments and release. And as we give an understanding we're being prepared for each stage. When we come into a knowledge and an understanding of where we are at in the program of YHVH. When we come into the knowledge and the understanding of what life is about, what the kingdom is about where we're at in the stage that we are at and we understand what he's been saying, where he has been pointing, what he has been developing and growing. The challenges that he's issued, the strange doctrines, teachings, Torah bringing us into to do things that we've never done before that others aren't doing but he's asking us to do it. And we gain and we grow in our understanding of the truth of the word and how we're supposed to follow it. And once we've gained an understanding that process of understanding is also a process of preparing our hearts, our lives our giftings, our anointings our callings, our functionings we grow in them, we learn in them and we are being prepared for each stage that he wants to release us into and then he releases us into it because we've been prepared, because we understand what's going on. We understand where our part is how we fit in and what is happening around us and how we are to move forward and pursue it. We gain understanding and in that understanding we have been prepared for what he's going to release us into and it is like Pisach Shavuot follows Pisach Tabernacle follows Shavuot Each one is a separate stage of growth, development and release into something greater at each stage and that's how he works. So I want to start by sharing you only want my bread because YHVH's been sharing and showing me and talking to me for quite a long time about the stages that we're in and I've shared on these lots of times but I see three stages in YHVH's purpose for raising us up and taking us to a certain point in time and I see that in three stages and we are in stage one we're nearing the end of stage one and I've been through this before but we may touch on it as we go but I want to highlight what YHVH's been saying through this you only want my bread and we're going to talk about how people followed Yeshua because they wanted free food and free health cover they come to him to get healed and they came and followed him further because he fed them and that's where they were at so too often Yeshua is seen as Saint Vincent of Jesus I'm going to get that's what I want from him. I'll ask him for more bread I'll ask him for more clothes I'll ask him for this and I'll ask him for that and I'll ask him for something else he's just the head of a charity organisation and I might be being a bit harsh and facetious but I will get kinder as I go so don't worry too much about it I'm just trying to make a comparison between the natural man and the spiritual man between the flesh and the spirit between how humanity functions and thinks and acts and how we should think and act and believe in the spiritual realm and the difference between them and so when it comes to people wanting to follow Yeshua because he can heal their bodies and do good things for them and feed them with food and stuff like that nothing's changed and too often the church has become just a charity and the government has become our health and our wealth provider and so we put our trust in the church for things that we should put our trust in YHVH for we put our trust in the government for things that one day the government is not going to give us and our faith is in the government our faith is in the kingdoms of men our faith is in a whole lot of things and we haven't established and built up our faith and our strength and our trust in the almighty because one day none of those things are going to be there for us the church isn't going to be there for millions of people the governments are not going to be there for millions of people war is going to rage sins and distress and disease are going to overtake nations and countries they already are and people are living in poverty and distress by the millions children and people are starving and dying to death by the hundreds of thousands right across our nation because their dependency is upon agencies, upon governments upon churches, upon everything else but they do not understand or know God but people reach out for help and I say thank you Father, I'm glad they're reaching out for help and I want to help them as much as we can but I want to do more than just help them in the natural I want to do something that can release them into the sovereignty and the supernatural faith that does something even greater for them and so there are people all around they need help they need our help and we are limited to what help we can give and do so we have to just say Father, we need something beyond ourselves we need something that is sovereign, supernatural and powerful that sets captives free breaks the powers and bondages of satanic strongholds and mindsets and heals sick bodies and deals with cancer and broken bones and causes people to rise up and see the power of the almighty God that's what we need and that's where our heart beat and our prayers have to be and function and flow and so just in this illustration people want from me, from us, from others what only Yeshua can give them and or they want I'll put it in another way they want from me what Yeshua won't give them or they want from me what Yeshua hasn't given them and that seems like a strong way to look at it but YHVH works on principles and he works on protocols and he works on that which is according to his word and he says do you trust me do you know how to trust me do you know how to reach out and take from me what I have for you people want a continuous supply from his kingdom table of free stuff I'm no different I put my hand up and say father I've asked you for lots of stuff and lots of it never ever came my way we gain understanding and we grow and learn in a process and when he says no we get stronger because we have to get stronger we have to push in harder we have to dig in deeper we have to come into contact with him and say father do something in my heart my mind show me what I need to do how I need to put my trust and how I need to open my life and how I need to exercise a faith I don't have to see you do miracles and wonders and provisions and provide and open doors for us and all of this kind of thing it is a new way of walking a new way of talking it is not just a little prayer that says now where's the answer no he says I want you to get to know me I want you to know me like I know you and to push in and see what happens and we say well healing is the children's bread isn't it blessing and provision belongs to his children isn't it of course it is but sometimes we don't act like his children sometimes we act like strangers out there somewhere just coming charity saying please help me we walk away and we get helped and we forget about him so I have my next need we haven't developed a relationship we haven't walked with him like children and family and we haven't come into a proper understanding Yeshua said come follow me lay down your life for me put first my kingdom and all these other things will follow we have to learn that we have to understand that we have to come to an understanding of what does that mean put my kingdom first I'll clothe you, I'll feed you I'll take care of you I'll do it, whatever you need I'll do it put my kingdom first where's the understanding of that in today's world when Yeshua says follow me well what does that mean when he says lay your life on the altar and make your life a sacrifice well what does that mean we're so used to doing our own thing our own way, worshipping God in our own Christian way that we've been brought up and we have no comprehension of the truth of what kingdom is, what it means to put it first what do I have to get rid of, deal with sacrifice, lay down how do I put him first my job gets in the way, my wife my husband, my children get in the way everything gets in the way the boss gets in the way and I want to put the kingdom first but I don't even know what it means and so we grow in our learning and we grow in our understanding and we are being prepared in that process for something greater once we've learned to take a hold we begin to walk in it so I want to read John chapter 6 in this context I can't read the whole chapter because I want to just read the chapter and make comments as we go through it it's a long chapter 71 verses then after that I'm going to read 4 more chapters from somewhere else John chapter 6 you can take any one you like as long as it's got 6 chapters John 6 verse 1 afterwards Yeshua went away to the other side of the sea of Galilee also known as the sea of Tiberias a large crowd kept following him because they were watching the signs he was performing on the sick then Yeshua went up the mountain side and sat down there with his disciples Passover the Jewish feast was near that was interesting to me when you put this on me it's another Passover reference this happened just a few days before Passover when this process took place and lifting up his eyes and seeing a large crowd coming to him Yeshua said to Philip where will we buy bread so these may eat now Yeshua was saying this to test him for he knew what he was about to do Philip answered him 200 denari isn't enough to buy bread for each to get a little bit one of his disciples Andrew Simon Peter's brother said to him there's a boy here who has 5 barley loaves and 2 fish but what's that for so many so Yeshua said make the people recline there was much grass in the area so the men reclined about 5000 in number Yeshua picked up the loaves gave thanks he distributed bread to everyone who was reclining and he did the same to the fish as much as they wanted when the people were full Yeshua said to his disciples gather up the leftovers so nothing is wasted so they gathered them and filled 12 baskets with broken pieces from the 5 barley loaves which were left over by those who had finished eating you know Yeshua is more than able to provide enough he has no limitations whatsoever if I can come to the truth of understanding and enter into that truth in who he is there is no limit to what he can do and what he can provide for me if I can have that faith and trust and belief that has not a shadow of a doubt he can provide and do for me whatever is needed, there is no limitations to what he can provide for me when the people saw the sign that Yeshua performed they began to say this is most certainly the prophet who is to come into the world realizing that they were about to come and seize him by force to make him king, Yeshua withdrew again to the mountain himself alone now when the evening came Yeshua's disciples went down to the sea, getting into a boat they set out to cross the sea toward Capernaum but now it had become dark and still Yeshua had not come to them a great wind began to blow, stirring up the sea and after they had rowed about 25 or 30 stadia 3 or 4 miles they tell me they catch sight of Yeshua walking on the sea approaching the boat, they were terrified but Yeshua said to them I am don't be afraid then they wanted to take him into the boat and right away the boat reached the shore where they were headed let me just reflect on that words for a moment when they see Yeshua walking across the top of the sea across the ways a couple of miles out into the middle of Lake Galilee and they ask him to get into the boat and he just says to them I am I am don't be afraid and again it is the reference to the almighty I am I am who I am I will be whatever I will be he was saying whatever you need, I am whatever you want I am I am has the power, the authority to give you whatever is necessary I am is here I am and I will be whatever I need to be for you cause nothing is outside of my abilities or limitations I am means I am the creator I am bigger than the universe I am more powerful than a nuclear bomb I am more powerful greater in wisdom knowledge and understanding in authority whatever I say happens YHVH is not supernatural that's not a biblical term even I don't think you'll even find it in scripture we think I'm natural, he's supernatural no, I'm natural I'm flesh he is all in all he that is his normal he walks on water because that's his normal he controls the universe cause that's his normal whatever he says happens whatever he wants he does he can snap his fingers and anything the world can disappear planet earth can explode and be gone he can speak to that mountain and it's into the sea I am there is no power beyond me there is nothing greater than me there is nothing I cannot do that's my normal, that's who I am that's our God comes up to the disciples in the middle of the storm they're fighting for their life he says I am whatever you need don't be afraid do you believe in me are you my disciples are you my followers, did I call you I am whatever you need I am whatever is greater and bigger and beyond you I am, I can do anything anything you need I can do it anything you want I can do it whatever you ask is not beyond me, I am he wants to get this into our mindset I am is with you whatever you need I will be whatever you need I will do the impossible is not impossible for him nothing is impossible, there's no such thing as impossible for him and we have to become one in that with him as he brings us into that understanding and then coming into the understanding he's preparing us to begin to function in that understanding verse 22 the next day the crowd remaining on the other side of the sea realized that no other boat had been there except the one and that Yeshua hadn't gone into the boat with his disciples but that his disciples had gone away alone some other boats from Tiberias came close to the place where they had eaten the bread after master had given thanks so when the crowd realized that neither Yeshua nor his disciples were there they got into the boats and set off for Capernaum to find him when they found him on the other side of the sea they said rabbi when did you get here? Yeshua responded to them amen amen or truly truly I tell you you seek me not because you saw signs but because you ate all the bread and were filled he says don't work for the food that spoils but for the food that endures to eternal life so Yeshua was preparing them for the coming Pesach Passover Passover was about to come and he said I'll feed this 5000 men plus women and children from these little 5 rows of bread and he fed them just before Passover and so this was an object lesson to these people from his hand and he did something that was eternal in its picture and symbolism and provision so he wasn't feeding them because they were hungry I'm sure they were one way to the next supermarket and they said we haven't got enough bread and we know where we can go and get enough bread but he was teaching them an eternal lesson that they had no idea about he was preparing them for Passover for Pesach with this bread and he said don't work for the food that spoils he says you've rowed right across this sea you've put up your sails and you've come from here for Capernaum to find me he says you didn't come because of the signs, a sign is something that tells an eternal spiritual truth he said you've come because I fed you and you were hungry and you just want something else at my hand that wasn't the purpose of why I did it so he says don't work for food that spoils but for the food that endures to eternal life he said put the kingdom first in different words, put my father's kingdom first, put the kingdom that I came from first look for the spiritual aspects of life, look for that which is eternal that which will save you and redeem you, that which will bring you into the fullness of my kingdom purpose for your life, don't worry about your food, don't worry about your clothes, don't worry about your job, don't worry about this I am I am, whatever you need, I will be it he wants us to begin to think and to function like people who put their trust in him implicitly don't work for food that spoils but for the food that endures to eternal life which the son of man will give to you that's a promise for on him Elohim the father has put the seal of approval and they said what shall we do to perform the works of God Yeshua answers them this is the work of Elohim to trust in the one he sent trust in the one he sent to all this crowd that's following him if you want to do the works of God put your trust in the one that he sent me and so it's a real object lesson of how they see and embrace this man that's standing before them they've seen the miracles he's been healing the sick, they're in after him they listen to his preaching it's getting late, so now he feeds them, all supernaturally as we term it, but to him it's just being natural, that's who he is and they said well you say that we need to look to the things that are leading us into eternal life how do we serve and walk in the purposes of YHVH simple, trust in me trust in me the disciple said to Yeshua get in the boat it's a rough sea it's tough going we will you're with us, we will help ferry you to the other side in this storm he didn't get in he just said I am, don't be afraid in all of a sudden they were at Capernaum that's pretty amazing isn't it didn't have to pull another oar or anything they were just there he said it, it happened don't be afraid we're there, I would have loved to have been in that boat at that point anyway so they said to him in verse 30 then what sign do you perform so that we may see and believe you what work do you do they'd just seen a lot of them our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness as it is written out of heaven he gave them bread to eat Yeshua answered them, Amen Amen I tell you it isn't Moses who has given you bread from heaven but my father gives you the true bread from heaven for the bread of God is the one coming down from heaven and giving life to the world so they said to him so give us this bread from now on Yeshua said to them I am the bread of life whoever comes to me will never be hungry, whoever believes in me will never be thirsty this is a pretty amazing lesson I've got a clue what he's talking about the disciples didn't even have a clue what he was talking about but he's saying this is about trusting me, the one who was sent from heaven, the bread I gave you is like the bread that Moses gave Israel as manna from heaven you'll die because you ate of that bread only all the brethren of Israel died in the wilderness even though they ate manna from heaven that's not what we're talking about I want you to have life eternal a different kind of bread me, me and so I told you that you have seen me yet you do not believe verse 37 everyone the father gives me will come to me and anyone coming to me I will never reject for I have come down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me now this is the will of the one who sent me that I lose not one of all he has given me but raise each one on the last day for this is the will of my father that everyone who sees the son and trusts in him may have eternal life and I will raise him up on the last day some of the Judeans started to grumble about because he said I am the bread that came down from heaven they were saying isn't this Yeshua the son of Joseph whose father and mother we know how can he now say I have come down from heaven Yeshua answered stop grumbling among yourselves no one can come to me unless my father who sent me draws him and I will raise him up on the last day it's written in the prophets they will all be taught by Elohim everyone who has listened and learned from the father comes to me not that anyone has seen the father except the one who is from Elohim he has seen the father Amen Amen I tell you he who believes has eternal life I am the bread of life your fathers ate the manna in the desert yet they died this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat and not die I am the living bread which come down from heaven if anyone eats this bread he will live forever this bread is my flesh which I will give for the life of the world getting to the crux of the matter isn't he Passover Pesach is about him and eternal life about eating his flesh and drinking his blood and if anyone eats of him then he will find eternal life so he's wanting Passover he's wanting Pesach he's wanting this period of time to be an understanding in people's lives that if we embrace him if we partake of him in the way that he wants to be partaken of then we will pass from death to life we will be granted and given life eternal and as we were talking and sharing over Passover up at the farm people enter into the tradition of Passover but have no idea of what the real Passover is about. We will follow the Hadadah, we will follow the Seder rituals and we will understand what every detail of that means but there's no life in it no life in it whatsoever the only thing that's needed at the Passover table is the bread and the cup nothing else absolutely nothing else is necessary break this bread drink this cup this is my body, this is my blood he put it on a whole new course he took it out from Moses hand to his all of these things have truth in them, all of these things are symbolisms of truths about Yeshua but they're not the things that we're supposed to be focusing upon. We're supposed to be focusing upon the fact that we eat his body, we drink his blood and we enter into the spirit and the truth of it they said show us a sign do some more miracles to prove who you are he said no you just eat my body and drink my blood that's how you'll enter into life, that's how you'll become one with me and enter into my kingdom purpose. How many different animals were sacrificed at the sacrifices there were goats, there were sheep there were rams there were oxen all different kinds of sacrifices why because every one of them told a different story about Yeshua everything was about a different aspect of his life why were the kidneys and the liver and the fat around them had to be burnt separately from everything else because it told us something about Yeshua every different animal told us something different about Yeshua not one animal could perfectly and fully describe who Yeshua is in all the intricacies and power and authority of who he is could not be told by one there had to be many sacrifices to get a complete picture of the greatness of this I am who laid down his life everything everything that Moses said is exactly the same the unleavened bread the bitter herds the fully roasted sheep he said you roast that lamb or that goat with its head with its legs and all its internals you take nothing from that animal and you roast it on fire and then eat the meat and if there is any meat left over you burn it to a crisp the next day till it's just ashes all pictures about who this man was that it represents we don't have to burn about 6 different kinds of animals or anything now anymore no the lamb has come we get rid of the shadow and we enter into the truth of who Yeshua is we enter into the fullness of the types we take a hold of the shadows and say the shadow has now become the reality in Yeshua we don't celebrate the shadows we celebrate the man that they represent and he said do this in remembrance of me there is a whole transition from one kind of celebration of Pesach for the last 1000 years to a new celebration of Pesach in Yeshua for this 2000 years we don't get lost in the shadow we enter into the fullness of the reality of who he is himself and this is what he is saying in this message to these people the Jews began arguing with one another how can this man give us his flesh to eat Yeshua said to them truly truly I tell you unless you eat the flesh of the son of man and drink his blood you have no life in yourselves he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I will raise him up on the last day that's the 4th time I think that he said and I will raise him up on the last day why did he keep saying that because for two reasons in my mind because it is about resurrection it's the promise of eternal life there is no eternal life if we're not raised from the dead there is no eternal life if he is not raised from the dead there is no eternal life for anyone but not only that the and the high priest who was the they don't believe in resurrection and they don't believe in angels and he keeps saying to this crowd who are followers of the high priest and the Sadducees and the Pharisees and he just keeps saying I will raise them up on the last day I will raise them up on the last day eat my flesh and drink my blood and there will be resurrection life for you they tell you there is no resurrection they tell you they're looking for the Messiah the King to come and deliver us from Rome he says no I am the Messiah and I haven't come to deliver you from the Roman soldiers I've come to deliver you from the powers of darkness I've come to deliver you from death and Satan and sin I've come to bring you back into the kingdom of the almighty eat my flesh and drink my blood and I will raise you up on the last day for my flesh is real food my blood is real drink he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me and I in him just as the living father sent me and I live because of the father so the one who eats of me will also live because of me this is the bread that came down from heaven not like the bread your fathers ate and then died he who eats this bread will live forever he said these things while teaching at the synagogue in Capernaum that would have been a rough message at the Capernaum that day so when many of his disciples heard this they said this is a hard teaching who can listen to it and I've got a message on this on the website eat my flesh and drink my blood which I titled are you offended at this I'm sure you all remember it but Yeshua knew his disciples that's his followers were murmuring so he said to them does this offend you then what if you see the son of man going back up to the place where he was before resurrected it is the spirit who gives life the flesh is of no benefit the words I have spoken to you are spirit and are life yet some of you do not trust Yeshua knew from the beginning who were the ones who did not trust as well as the one who would betray him he told them for this reason I've told you that no one can come to me unless it's been granted to him by the father from this time many of his disciples left and quit walking with him it's pretty tragic isn't it because they couldn't handle the truth the spiritual realities of why he had come and when he said that does this offend you and when he said it's the spirit the ruach who gives life the flesh is of no benefit I can keep feeding you all the food you want but you're still going to die just like your father in the wilderness and you won't be part of my kingdom I can heal your body as many times as it needs healing I can take care of your physical needs but what benefit is that of you you get a few extra years, that's all a few extra years he said I want to give you eternal life I want to raise you from the dead if you die in your sickness you die in your sickness, if you die in your hunger you die in your hunger I want to give you life eternal I want to raise you from the dead I want you to have spiritual life in me I want you to experience my power that changes your spirit internally the spirit is life and gives life and I want your spirit to be transformed, I want you to have a faith and a belief in me that walks in the great I am that walks in the knowledge and the power and the authority of who I am, trust me don't focus just on your natural physical needs as a fleshly human being put my kingdom first, the kingdom that's coming from heaven down upon the earth to rule and reign over all humanity for one thousand years, focus on that, I want you to be a part of it and I want you to serve me in it and I want you to be my bride he's trying to get across, this is what Passover this is what Pesach is about, eternal life, ruling and reigning not worrying about how many times I get beaten up, how many times I go hungry, how many times I get the cold or the flu no, I have to put up with this I'm going to die with something I don't want to die with well maybe that is so, don't worry about it put me first, put me first and you will see me do amazing things for you, if you can trust me, eat my flesh and as he said here to eat my flesh and to drink my blood is to become one with me is to abide in me and for me to abide in you and together we become one and we see the power of the universe released into our reason for being that's what he wants from this time many of his disciples left and quit walking with him so Yeshua said to the twelve, do you want to leave also do you Simon Peter answered him, Adonai to whom shall we go you have the words of eternal life we have trusted and have come to know that you are the Kedosh one of Elohim Yeshua answered them didn't I choose you the twelve, yet one of you is the adversary now he was speaking of Judah the son of Simon of Creot, for he one of the twelve was about to betray him this is twelve months before his death this is the Passover before the next Passover and he is predicting that this man is going to betray him twelve months before his death Yeshua is giving them plenty of lead up he is telling them about he is the bread of life, he is preparing them he is giving them understanding he is giving them another twelve months to come to terms with the truth of who he is and to walk with him you know sometimes you have to let the dead bury the dead we move forward because people don't want to listen to you, don't want to follow you or walk with you you have family that wants to just destroy you and hate you because you are so different from them you don't do what your family wants, you don't do what this wants and the world wants and what my flesh wants, you have to put that to death say whatever it costs we will follow you I trust you that's when things begin to change and happen that's when we begin to see the sovereignty of the supernatural God at work in our midst when we have laid down our lives, when we have laid down everything that gets in the way it's not about the flesh if all you want to do is look after the flesh, you are never going to understand the things of the supernatural or the eternal and this is not about callous indifference it's about not being taken advantage of because people will take advantage of you without even knowing they are, without even wanting to, they're just desperate, they think that you can meet every need they've got, we can't sometimes you just have to walk away and let the dead bury the dead you go where someone else can help you, you go to the government, you go to this one, you go there, maybe they can do for you what you want, we can't we have limits and limitations of how we can assist you so if you want to walk deeper into the truths of who YHVH is come and learn with us and we'll do everything we can for you but we'll put you on the right track for life eternal and it's even more important and even greater things can come out of that charity per se helps no one eternally only the blood of the lamb does charity makes people slaves to a religious system or to a political system and people go to church because it satisfies their need spiritually charitably help and support socially but it doesn't necessarily prepare them for the kingdom of God and what what Christianity teaches doesn't bring them into the kingdom it's a wide path that misses the doorway into the kingdom, it's a different gospel so we won't go down that road we are not a charity organisation the Christian church does and it's an offshoot for their gospel message so many churches especially big churches have charity arms and it says what good corporate citizens are we it makes them look good and popular and caring about the needs of community that's not the emphasis of Yeshua that doesn't mean we're not charitable supportive, we are but that's a big difference to making that your strength and people look up to you and come to you for help and assistance in the natural and that's all they get at the end of the day we need to be able to give them what we have and that's what we do now I want to go to Acts chapter 3 I'm looking at the time and it doesn't mean a thing sorry you help people as much as you can until you can't and you be honest and you say we can do this for you but that's as much as we can do you'll be friendly, you'll be supportive, you'll be helpful but sometimes you have to walk away because sometimes people well they will walk away themselves because they're not getting enough help or something it can be a delicate balancing act you're always there to help assist the sought prey but you cannot always meet people's needs and expectations and I'm only saying this because in the coming months and years we will grow and lots and lots of people will hear about things happening maybe a sick person gets healed maybe something happens there, a miracle takes place here, that gathers the crowd and they'll do exactly what they did to Yeshua they will come to your door because they want help we have to guard against that that we don't get brought into that place where that's how we're seen and observed it's just a charity organisation for people to come someone wins the tax lotto and they have a million new friends that want help it's the desperation of people I understand that a need needs to be met but the thing is we have to help people understand we want to point you to Yeshua so that He can meet your needs He can do things for you, we can't He can give you a faith that releases provisions gives you jobs opens doors heals your body provides for you in ways sovereignly that we can't but your faith in Him will open that door for you and bring you into a new life eternal as well as saying, if you trust me that way, you walk with me that way then I will bring things to pass to meet your need it's always a learning process Acts chapter 3 Peter and John were going up to the temple at the ninth hour, a time of prayer, a man lame from birth was being carried every day where a man lame from birth was being carried, and every day they used to put him at the temple gate called beautiful, so he could beg for tzedakah that is charitable gift from those who were entering the temple, when he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple he began to ask to receive tzedakah a charitable gift but Peter along with John looked straight at him and said, look at us, so he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them, but Peter said, silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give to you, in the name of Yeshua Hamashiach get up and walk, then grabbing him by the right hand he raised him up and immediately the man's feet and ankles were made strong there was something more important than silver and gold here for this man so this particular chapter follows chapter 2, how profound is that, chapter 2 is the feast of Shavuot they had just had 40 days before Passover Yeshua then spent from his resurrection to Shavuot, he spent 40 days with the disciples, teaching them about the kingdom of God as we read Acts 1 we find that that was his motivation and purpose and the instructions and every parable he told in his life was all about the kingdom of God, preparing people for that which is eternal and his second coming, and so for 40 days after he had brought them out of their confusion and fear and distress at his death, not understanding what had happened, and then for the next 40 days he's teaching them about the kingdom of God, about what is the kingdom, how is the kingdom of heaven to be appropriated here on earth, how are you to bring people into that kingdom, how you are to go about your life preaching and teaching about the kingdom, and who is the king of that kingdom, and who I am and how I relate to that kingdom, and how you get people to understand what the kingdom is about, and how to become part of that kingdom with me, and he teaches them all about the kingdom and it's important and it's relevant, and as Yeshua said to pray, pray this way, our father hallowed, sanctified, great, powerful, mighty is your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth, exactly the same way as it's done in heaven, and we have to have a look into heaven if we want to know how heaven functions and operates, and how heaven functions and operates has to happen and function here on the earth, and how it is in heaven, your powerful throne room of the almighty, angelic hosts in praise and worship, angelic hosts travelling the ends of the universe, doing the bidding of the father, they are eternal beings with power and authority we know nothing about. He said that is what I want here on earth, I want my power, my authority, my throne, my name, my honour. Powerfully here on earth, just like it is in there, and he's imparting this message to the disciples for the next 40 days, and he says now wait in Jerusalem until the power of the Ruach comes upon you, until you are anointed in such a way, empowered in such a way, that you can now take my kingdom into people's lives, and the power of heaven becomes your power, the greatness of the I am seated on the throne of heaven becomes the greatness of your God, and you take that into the earth and you demonstrate my kingdom here on earth. Every time he sent out the 12, and every time he sent out the 70, he said you go and heal the sick, you go and cast out demons, and you preach the kingdom. You can't preach the kingdom if you don't know what the kingdom's about. And he prepared them and taught them until they come into the understanding of what it all meant. Through the 18 months they were with him and through PISAC, and then he taught them all about it for the next 40 days, and now he says you have understanding, I have prepared you, now I'm going to anoint you so that you can deliver it and become part of it. And so, verse 8, jumping up, he stood and began walking and he went with them into the temple, walking and leaping and praising Elohim. And all the people saw him walking and praising Elohim. They began to realise he was the one who used to sit begging for at the beautiful gate of the temple. And they were filled with wonder and astonishment over what had happened to him. That's our prayer and our heartbeat. That this may happen to people. That we may see the sovereign supernatural power of the Almighty. Silver and gold have we none. Sorry, we cannot give you what you need. We don't have the finances. We don't have the capacity. We don't have everything that you need to give you a wonderful life here on Earth. But what we have we give you. Something that is eternal. Something that is supernatural and sovereign. Something that can raise you up onto your own two feet and enable you now to not have to beg for food anymore. But you have the power to go and earn your own in the spiritual context. And so that's our heartbeat. That's our prayer. It is this timeline. It is this stage by stage. He's bringing us to that place where we become this. Because Shavuot's arrived. A new anointing has arrived. A new empowering of the Ruach has come. Verse 11. While he was clinging to Peter and John all the people came together running toward them in the place called Solomon's portico. But when Peter saw he responded to the people. Men of Israel why are you amazed at this? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? The Elohim of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. The Elohim of our fathers has exalted his servant Yeshua. The one you handed over and disowned before Pirate. Though he had decided to release him. But you rejected the Kedosh one the righteous one and asked for a murderer to be granted to you. You killed the author of life. The one Elohim raised from the dead. We are witnesses of it. Now through faith in the name of Yeshua his name has strengthened this man whom you see and know. Indeed the faith through Yeshua has given this man perfect health in front of you all. Now brothers I know that you acted in ignorance just as your leaders did. But what Elohim foretold through the mouth of all his prophets that his Messiah was to suffer so he has fulfilled. Repent therefore and return so your sins might be blotted out. So times of relief might come from the presence of Yehovah and he might send Yeshua the Messiah appointed for you. Heaven must receive him until the time of the restoration of all. Elohim spoke about long ago through the mouth of his Kedosh set apart prophets. Moses said Yehovah your Elohim will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers. So in all that he shall say to you and it shall be that every soul that will not listen to that prophet Yeshua shall be completely cut off from the people. That is no kingdom access or entrance. Indeed all the prophets who have spoken from on have announced these days you are the sons of the prophets and also of the covenant that Elohim cut with your father saying to Abraham in your seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Elohim raised up his servants and sent him first to you to bless you all by turning each of you from your wicked ways. It's interesting to me that back there Peter and John go to the temple in the middle of the afternoon at the time of the sacrifice time of prayer meet this lame man at the gate and Peter says silver and gold have we none such as I have given you the name of Yeshua the Messiah from Nazareth rise up and walk grabs him by the hand and this crippled man from birth is made whole. Peter did that. You know Peter he was the leader among leaders he was the head lead apostle of the apostles he was the one raised up by Yeshua to be the main leader of those leaders Peter was the one that was challenged more than any other Peter was the one that was disciplined more than any other. Peter was the one that made more mistakes in what he said than all the others many times Paul even had to challenge him in Galatia publicly because what he had done he was eating his meals with the Gentiles that had gotten saved and having fellowship and good times with these Gentiles and then some Jews come from Jerusalem and he separates himself this associates he's no longer a part of them he's not with them now at this point for some reason, and we know the reason he sort of moves away and doesn't want to meet with them now and just Paul gets a hold of him publicly and disciplines him strongly because of the message that he was sending in his behaviour because as far as the Jews are concerned, they don't eat with the Gentiles it was this old old mentality of the Orthodox Jewish system that we are better than the Gentiles and Gentiles can become one with us and we can proselytise them but we have nothing to do with them totally totally and absolutely destroying the message of the kingdom Peter was a man raised up by his being disciplined him being challenged by Yeshua he thought he was being good and helpful Yeshua says I'm going to die and be crucified I'm going to Jerusalem and Peter says never let it be don't say that Yeshua positive talking you know you're talking yourself into this and he says get behind me Satan you do not know the purposes of the almighty in this and then he says well I'll die with you and he says you don't know what you're talking about Peter before the cock crows in the morning you're going to have denied me three more times and so Peter was in the privileged position of being chastised disciplined did you ever think of that it is the place of the privileged person to come under YHVH's discipline the one that is disciplined the most is the one that he has his hand on for the greatest power and authority because he is dealing with the issues of life because he is saying I don't want to leave you where you're at I want to I want you to hear and understand what I don't like and I want you to know and understand what I don't want and I want you to know what I want to change in your life because if you don't come under my discipline and make the changes I'm pointing out to you, you won't become the leader that I want you to become and Peter I want you to be the greatest of the twelve and I want you to be their leader and he was their leader but there's lots of different kinds of leadership and Peter and John they would move out of Jerusalem, sorry I'm taking so long but these things are important Peter and John would move Jerusalem was their home base and they would travel all over the place from Jerusalem and they'd come back, they'd go out and they'd come back and they'd go out and they'd come back Paul and Barnabas and Paul and Silas they would go out and not come back they would travel, travel, travel but Paul and Barnabas and Silas and Timothy they always related to Jerusalem they would come back from time to time to be in touch with the apostles and disciples there but there was another man who was in charge of Jerusalem and the eldership, James James, the brother of Yeshua, became an apostolic leader and he took care of Jerusalem, the home base, he took care of the elders, the eldership and everything that was going on in Jerusalem was under his authority and Peter and John and they would go out and come back, go out and come back, Paul and Barnabas, they would come back occasionally from time to time and so there was a system there was leadership leadership, leadership structures and it related in a way that meant the home base was taken care of, enlarged and expanded and capacity growing and the message was being taken out all around their area and beyond their area because different people functioned in different ways in their leadership roles and according to the calling of YHVH and so discipline is an essential part of our growth and if we don't come under discipline graciously then we will never fulfill our potential and purpose so where am I up to so um I finished chapter 3 did I, okay chapter 4 as Peter and John were speaking to the people this is in the temple I've raised this guy up and he's healed him the captain of the temple and the Sadducees came up to them, they were indignant because Peter and John were teaching the people and announcing in Yeshua the resurrection of the dead the high priest and the Sadducees, of course the high priest is a Sadducee, Sadducees were the priesthood the Pharisees weren't, they were the interpreters of Torah and the teachers, Sadducees they were the elite and from their group came the high priest and so here Peter and John are teaching about Yeshua and the resurrection of the dead and they hate that message because they do not believe in the resurrection of the dead they do not believe in these things and here are these two men preaching this stuff once again in the temple precinct so they grabbed them, put them in jail until the next day for it was already evening but many who heard the message believed and the number of men came to about 5000 I mean how astounding is that 5000 men believed their message, gave their heart to Yeshua as they preached this message in the temple precinct of course it's a big area and there's lots of different precincts, precincts for the Gentiles precincts for the women, precincts for the men etc, etc, etc and people milling around everywhere and they're in there teaching and proclaiming Yeshua the Messiah, the one that you put to death, etc, etc, etc and he was raised from the dead and of course the Sadducees and the high priest had paid the soldiers a whole lot of money to tell the story this man never got raised from the dead the disciples sold his stole his body in the night and hid it somewhere and they paid the soldiers a whole lot of money to tell that story and here they are now saying no he was raised from the dead, we saw him we know him, we've walked with him and so now the Sadducees they're pretty angry about what's going on once again in their temple precinct but 5000 men get saved in this process this is just not long straight after Shavuot the outpouring of the Ruach these are transformed changed men there's a new power come upon them, there's a new anointing there's an authority and the Ruach is taking their words and applying to these people's lives, it's not their words it's Ruach inspired anointed message that brings salvation to 5000 men all at once and so that's what I call a powerful anointing they all went home that's why what? yes, oh they did they got scattered oh yes yep yes it grew and grew and grew they certainly did yep very true Spencer on the next day the rulers and elders and Torah scholars were gathered together in Jerusalem Annas, the Kohen Gadol the high priest was there, Caiaphas and John and Alexander and all those who were of high priestly descent when they had placed Peter and John in their midst they began to inquire by what power or in what name did you do this and Peter again it's Peter filled with the Ruach HaGadesh said to them rulers and elders of the people if we are on trial today for a mitzvah done for a sick man as to how this fellow was healed let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Yeshua the Messiah of Nazareth whom you crucified whom Elohim raised from the dead this one stands before you whole this Yeshua is the stone rejected by you the builders that has become the chief cornerstone there is salvation in no one else there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John and figured out they were lay men without training they were amazed they began to realize that these men had been with Yeshua well very well taught and very well anointed but seeing the healed man standing with them they had nothing to say in response and when they had ordered Peter and John to go out of the council chamber they began to confer with one another saying what shall we do with these men for indeed it's obvious to everyone living in Jerusalem that a remarkable miracle has happened through them and we cannot deny it but so it won't spread any further among the people let's warn them not to speak any more to anyone in this name so they called them in and ordered them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Yeshua but Peter and John replied whether it's right in the sight of Elohim to listen to you rather than to Elohim you decide we cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard and after threatening them again they let them go finding no way they could punish them on account of the people because they were all glorifying Elohim for what had happened for the man in whom this miracle of healing had happened was more than 40 years old as soon as they were released Peter and John went to their own people and reported all that the ruling priests and elders had said to them when they heard it they lifted their voices together and said O Sovereign Master you made heaven and earth and the sea and everything in them you said by the Ruach Hakodesh through the mouth of our father David your servant why did the nations rage and the peoples plot foolish things the kings of the earth took their stand the rulers were gathered together against YHVH and against his anointed one for truly both Herod and Pontius Pilate along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel were gathered together in this city against your Kadosh servant Yeshua whom you anointed they did whatever your hand and your purpose predetermined to happen and now YHVH look at their and grant your servants to speak your word with utmost courage while you stretch out your hand to heal and signs and wonders take place through your name through the name of your Kadosh servant Yeshua and when they had prayed the place where they were gathered was shaken and they were all filled with the Ruach Hakodesh and began to speak the word of Elohim with boldness now the whole group of those who believed was one in heart and mind that's several thousand people, no one would say anything he owned was his own but they had everything in common, with great power the apostles were giving witness to the resurrection of Adonai Yeshua and abundant favour was upon them all, no one among them was needy for all who were owners of lands or houses would sell them and bring the proceeds and set them at the feet of the apostles and the proceeds were distributed according to the need that each one had so you know this is more than saying everything I have belongs to YHVH we all say that and so that's the spiritual approach but saying everything I have belongs to everyone else is a very different thing that's what it's saying everything I have doesn't belong to YHVH everything I have belongs to everyone else so that community that community will one heart and one mind in that truth and that response and as they have need there is no need because everything I have is there to meet that need and thousands of people were saying the same thing if I have excess land or property that I need I will give that to the community though through the apostles to meet the needs of this community that's kingdom that's being heavenly minded a heavenly kingdom mindset not an earthly one flesh doesn't do that but people whose lives are sold out to the kingdom they're doing that when they're moving in the power and the anointing and the authority of the kingdom heaven here on earth Joseph also called Barnabas by the apostles, the emissaries which is translated son of encouragement was a Levite and a native of Cyprus he sold the field that he owned and brought the money and laid it at the feet of the emissaries chapter 5 on the other hand a man named Ananias together with his wife Sapphira sold the property he kept back some of the proceeds with his wife's full knowledge and brought part of it and set it at the feet of the emissaries but Peter says who said it? Peter said he's the obvious leader of the leaders, the spokesman in every situation why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Ruach HaKadesh and keep back part of the proceeds of the land while it remained unsold it was your own wasn't it? and after it was sold wasn't it at your disposal? how did this deed get into your heart you haven't lied to men but to God that's important little aspect how did this deed get into your heart lots of reasons why they wanted to look as good as Barnabas and the rest of the people who were being very generous and charitable and they wanted to give something so it looks good but we want to keep some of it for ourselves but you have lied not to men but to God you've tried to deceive us the point I'm making is something slipped into their heart or mind something of the spirit of man something of the flesh something of Satan he knows what our attitudes and feelings and behaviours are and he looks for an opportunity for us to do something wrong say the wrong thing, have the wrong thought and he'll slip something extra in he will take advantage of what we say and what we think he will put things into our mind and then it's up to us what do we deal with it sometimes we do not know where a thought is coming from sometimes we think we're very spiritual and that thought came from YHVH but did it? I've had plenty of those thoughts wow I think that's a word from the Lord I think YHVH just said that to me and I'll think about it for a while and think oh no I don't think so I think that's just my own mind getting in the way the thing is if you say it you can't retract it if you say something because you think it's God and it's not God then it doesn't achieve an objective it produces damage and so we have to be careful what we're thinking about to make sure it's not of the flesh, not of my mind not of my doctrinal background or anything else and I could test it against the word and YHVH to see where it's coming from and if I say it the devil will take advantage of it and he will use that to be a destructive comment or a destructive thought if that wasn't true then why do we need the gift of the discernment of spirits if we were so clever at understanding everything that comes into our minds and hearts and everything we say as being the truth of the truth without question or challenge then we don't need the discerning of gifts is it of man's spirit is it of the spirit of God does it come from the spirit of darkness, where did that thought come from, where did that comment come from where did that word come from YHVH says we need the discerning of spirits because of the subtlety of Satan, because of the subtlety of the unseen realm and that's why Paul said if someone gives a prophecy everybody else judge it we have to be big enough to allow that to happen, otherwise we allow lots of stuff in that shouldn't be in and we have to be big enough to accept the corrections that come and the bigger the corrections the greater the man will become Peter learned that lesson and so must we you haven't lied to men but to God, verse 5, as soon as he heard these words Ananias fell down and died, great fear came upon all who heard about it, the young men got up, wrapped him in a shroud and carried him out and buried him, after an interval of about three hours his wife came in, not knowing what had happened then Peter responded to her, tell me if you sold the land for this much, she said yes for that much then Peter said to her, how did you agree to test the Ruach YHVH, look the feet of those who buried your husband are at the door and they'll carry you out too man that's some word you say those kind of things you have to be right immediately she fell down at his feet and died when the young men came back in they found her dead and carried her out and buried her they decided her husband and great fear came over the whole community and all who heard these things does this tell us anything about Elohim's priorities and justice system the Messianic community on Kedosh notice Kedosh means separated, set apart, sanctified, different from anybody else out there in the world we are on a different level, we are kingdom people and we'll be judged by the kingdom word and process and he says don't violate my word, don't act like men doing men things for their own benefits pretending it's for the kingdom because YHVH won't tolerate it and he wanted this people at this time in their history when revival was breaking out he was making sure that nothing of the flesh was going to get in the road of it and he will deal with anything that has to be dealt with in order to make sure that nothing of flesh and man and Satan gets in the way of his purpose and his kingdom and his plan it's a pretty tough message it's written in here for our learning if YHVH begins to move in power and authority he's looking for a people of integrity who can be trusted who want to function in the ruach and not the flesh if you want my power live in my righteousness if you want my authority and the use of my name, make sure you do not discredit my name that's the message that's what he is looking for verse 12 while through the hands of the emissaries many signs and wonders were happening among the people and they were all together in Solomon's portico but no one else dared to join them though the people continued to think highly of them yet more than ever those trusting in YHVH were added large numbers of men and women the kahal the congregation, the people of YHVH that was tens of thousands of people now strong that community 3000 on the day of Pentecost 5000 just a bit later at the temple and now he is adding large numbers of men and women, 5 and 3 is 8 and large more tens of thousands of more people have become part of this new body of believers this is staggering and amazing of what was taking place in Jerusalem, no wonder the high priest and the Sadducees and the Pharisees they were pretty much distressed about this and they had to find a way to stop it they even carried the sick into the streets and laid them on stretchers and cots so that when Peter passed, when who passed by? when Peter passed by at least his shadow might fall on some of them he received the greatest challenges from YHVH because he had the greatest ministry for YHVH and Yeshua said to Peter Peter, Satan has desired to sift you Peter did not know that Satan was trying to interfere and speak into his life, he was not aware of it and we're not sometimes, we have to appreciate that and sometimes challenge and change has to come so we can appreciate that and Yeshua says to Peter when you are saved, when you are converted go and help your brothers YHVH had a big job for Peter he was the leader among the leaders the spokesman the one who led the way because that was the call upon his life crowds were also gathering from the towns around Jerusalem bringing those who were sick or tormented by unclean spirits and they were all being healed but the high priest rose up and all those with him, that is the sect of the Sadducees and they were filled with jealousy, they grabbed the emissaries, put them in a public jail but during the night an angel of YHVH opened the prison doors and leading them out he said go stand in the temple and speak to the people a whole message about this life now when they heard that they entered the temple at daybreak and began teaching when the high priest and those with him arrived they called together the Sanhedrin, a body of 70 men as the lawmakers even the council of elders as well, of the children of Israel and sent to the prison to have the prisoners brought in but when the officers came they did not find them in the prison so they returned and reported saying we found the prison locked with maximum security and the guards standing at the doors but when we opened up we found no one inside this is when YHVH is moving in powerful powerful ways in his time frame and timeline then he does miraculous, sovereign, supernatural things for his purposes and his kingdom when the captain of the temple and the ruling Kohenim heard these words they were perplexed about them, wondering where this would lead but someone came and reported to them, the men you put in prison are standing in the temple and teaching the people then the captain went off with the officers and brought the emissaries but not with force because they feared they might be stoned by the people when they had brought them they placed them before the Sanhedrin, the Kohen Gedol questioned them saying we gave you strict orders not to teach in this name and look you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and you intend to bring on us the blood of this man you see the Sanhedrin and the high priest, they saw themselves as standing in the place of God and Roman Catholic Church does that the Pope does that other preachers think they are too but the apostle said we talk directly to God we obey him not you we have to be the same we don't do what man tells us to do if God tells us to do something different we are not above the law we are not beyond the law we respect the law and governments and all of that but if they try to tell us you cannot serve the purposes of YHVH the way the word of God and YHVH tells us we have to serve the purposes of YHVH and trust him in the process of being thrown into jail or whatever else Peter and the apostles replied we must obey God rather than men the God or the Elohim of our fathers raised up Yeshua whom you seized and crucified this one Elohim exalted at his right hand as leader and saviour to give repentance to Israel and the removals of sin so when in the middle of these men who had the power to take their life and take their head off and he says this one God exalted at his right hand Yeshua as leader and saviour to bring repentance to Israel and that included the high priest this one was the leader and he is the one who has been exalted as saviour and leader of this nation and all must repent that means you high priest and you Sadducees and you elders and you Sanhedrin he is above you if we and he says in verse 32 and we are witnesses of these events as is the Ruach HaKadosh whom Elohim has given to those who obey him do you hear that whom YHVH has given to those who obey him the leader is saying to the Sanhedrin and these men and people they are saying to them what was given to Yeshua to be the leader and the saviour of the peoples of this nation the Ruach that came upon him and we are witnesses the Ruach HaKadosh is witness who has empowered us to bring a miracle of healing to this man and to share what we are sharing and that same Ruach that raised Yeshua from the dead endorsed the ministry of this man Yeshua whom God has given to those who obey him miracles proved it that they were right and the priesthood never had it they couldn't do what Yeshua did, they couldn't do what Peter and John and the apostles were doing, miracle after miracle, people getting healed as Peter's shadow went over them amazing powerful things were taking place, people were getting saved by the thousands they were leaving the temple system and joining the apostles this was the most dramatic powerful thing that had ever transpired in their lives the apostles who had never learned anything, unlearned men, discerned they'd been with Yeshua because they were just like him they had it, the priesthood didn't they couldn't heal the people, they couldn't do what these men did, they couldn't set the captives free, they couldn't make a lame man walk and turning from a beggar into a worker no, they just wanted power over people when they heard this, verse 33, they became enraged and wanted to kill them that's the spirit that was in them and in that room, but a certain Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the Torah, respected by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and gave orders to put the men outside for a little while, then he said to them men of Israel, be careful what you are about to do with these men, for some time ago Theodos, rose up claiming to be somebody and a number of men, maybe 400 joined up with him, he was killed and all who followed him were scattered and came to nothing after this fellow Judah, the Galilean rose up in the days of the census and got people to follow him he also perished, and all who followed him were scattered so now I tell you, stay away from these men and leave them alone, for if this plan or undertaking is of men, it will come to an end but if it is of God you will not be able to stop them you might even be found fighting against God they took his advice called in the emissaries flogged them ordered them not to continue speaking in the name of Yeshua and let them go that's the privilege of suffering so they left the presence of the Sanhedrin rejoicing that they were considered worthy to be dishonoured on account of his name, and every day in the temple and from house to house they never stopped teaching and proclaiming Yeshua as the Messiah in the temple and from house to house finish with chapter 6 that's courage that's the anointing that is faith in the power the truth of the calling upon their lives now in those days when the disciples were multiplying grumbling arose among the Hellenists against the Hebrews because the widows were being overlooked in the daily support so the twelve called together the whole group of the disciples and said it's not right for us to neglect the word of Elohim in order to serve tables so brothers, select from among you seven reputable men full of the spirit or Ruach and wisdom, whom we may put in charge of this duty but we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the service of the word the statement pleased the whole group and they chose Stephen a man full of faith and the Ruach Hakodesh and Philip and Prochorus, Nicanah Timon, Parmanios Nicholas a proselyte from Antioch they placed these men before the emissaries and after praying they laid hands on them the word of Elohim kept on spreading the number of disciples in Jerusalem greatly, greatly multiplied even a great number a great number of the Kohanim the priests were becoming obedient to the faith this is miraculous the power of the Ruach that is revival taking place in that city now Stephen full of grace and power was doing great wonders and signs among the people but some men from what was called the synagogue of the freedmen, both Cyrenians and Alexandrians as well as some from Cilicia and Asia stood up and began arguing with Stephen that they could not withstand the wisdom and the Ruach with whom he was speaking powerful, powerful was his message powerful was his ministry and anointing and they could not default anything that he said then they secretly instigated men into saying we have heard him speaking blasphemous words against Moses and against Elohim they also incited the people the elders and the Torah scholars and they rushed at Stephen, seized him and led him away to the Sanhedrin they set up false witnesses who said this man never stops speaking words against this holy place and the Torah for we have heard him saying that this Yeshua of Nazareth will destroy this place and change the customs that Moses handed down to us that was a lie of course watching him intently everyone who was sitting in the Sanhedrin saw that his face was like the face of an angel the manifest presence of the Ruach the Kavod of YHVH's presence came upon him and his face shone the kingdom of heaven the Kavod, the heavens were open to him, we are not reading the next chapter where we see more of that but the power of the Ruach was upon him the Kavod of YHVH was his portion the glory of heaven just came into his being and emanated out from him like a transfiguration and all they wanted to do was kill him YHVH got me to read these five chapters from John through to here because there is a process from Pesach to Shevuot actually beyond Shevuot into the next stage from stage to stage to stage and when the process is done at Pesach it becomes more powerful each time as we walk according to his word his will and his leading for his people so what he is saying to us he is not saying to everybody I don't know who he is saying this to around the world but I know he is saying it to us and I know he is taking us from stage to stage and we are in stage one towards the end of stage one and then we enter into stage two which is more like a Shevuot coming up in 50 days time when the spirit of the Ruach was poured out on the apostles and they entered into a new dimension, into a new phase of purpose and YHVH began to do things through them that he hadn't been doing through them previously brought them out of their confusion and misunderstanding to an understanding and they gained that understanding at the end of the 40 days and he brings them into Shevuot that he may then impart the power of the Ruach to enable them to put that learning, understanding and purpose into practice and so the process goes on and so it's up to us to keep on saying, Father we hear your word we see in your scriptures the truth of how this works and functions and if we are faithful to you how you are faithful to us and the promises that you made then you kept and the promises you made now you will keep, nothing changes and these things were written so that we may have an understanding of how he functions and how he moves further and further out and how he raises up people to become leaders in the home base, in the outside base and beyond he wants the people that can take the message from here to near and to far and to have the leaders who know how to go about it and do it and who can run with the anointing and know that Father the great I am he said all authority is given unto me in heaven and on earth go into all the world proclaim the good news of the kingdom making disciples in all nations until the end of the age that message hasn't changed but there is a right way of doing it there is a right way of going about it there is a right understanding of it he will bring it to pass Amen Amen Heavenly Father we thank you because the power of your word the truth of your word we thank you Father that you have sent forth your spirit you have sent forth your Ruach to open our hearts and our minds Father you immersed us into the fullness of the Ruach that he may write upon our hearts and minds the truth of your word and enable us to run in it to walk with it to prove it and to test it so Father we just pray that you will continue to lead us and guide us in wisdom help us Father to walk in faith and to see our faith levels increase and grow and our understanding and our knowledge of the truth of your word and of your kingdom to come alive Father in other people's hearts as well. Open doors for us Father. Close doors that need closing and Father take us in the ways that lead deeper and deeper into the power of your will being done here on earth we thank you in Yeshua's name Amen Amen
