The Capitol Theatre, finished in November of 1924 this year marks the 100th year anniversary of the theatre’s existence, the theatre was designed by architect Marion Mahony Griffith, though tragically being female in 1924 meant she was never adequately acknowledged for the designs in her lifetime.
