Shalom precious one, God richly bless you for joining hands with us in the just ended prayer startup. You are warmly welcome to today's morning glory devotion on radio HCI today of the Harvest Chapel International Kumasi. We are confident that God will work an effectual work in us as we tune in daily for this devotion. Facilitating today's episode are Pastor and Mrs. Boafu. Please let's share a word of prayer. Father we thank you this morning for giving us a new day. We are glad to join the reading and the exposition of your word this morning. We ask that you give us understanding and make us utilize the same even in our daily work with you in Jesus mighty name we pray amen. Please let's affirm our confession from Joshua chapter 1 verse 8. Joshua chapter 1 verse 8. This book of the law shall not depart out of my mouth but I shall meditate in it day and night that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it for then I will make my way prosperous and then I will have good success amen. Beloved today's episode is titled God vouches for us part 2 and our text will be taken from Matthew chapter number 7 the verse 7 through 11. I'll be reading from the world's English Bible British edition. The verse 7 ask and it will be given to you. Seek and you will find. Knock and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened. Or who is there amongst you who if his son ask him for bread will give him a stone? Or if he ask him for a fish who will give him a serpent? If you then being evil know how to give good gifts to your children how much more will your father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him? Beloved here ends the reading of the Word of the Lord. Thanks be to God. Beloved in our previous episode we learned of the character, willingness and ability of God our Father and advocate to plead our cause. In this episode we will consider the responsibility that rests on us to enjoy this privilege from Him. Every good father wants good for his children and goes all length to see his children do well. Same with our Father in heaven. To really enjoy seeing the hand of God at work in our lives, vouching for us, we must be born again to become His children. We should have a relationship with Him. This triggers the fatherly responsibility of pleading our cause and making sure that our lives come to a successful and expected end. This is what Jesus affirmed in Matthew chapter 7 verses 9 to 11 when he sought his followers saying, Who is there amongst you who if his sons ask for bread will give him a stone or if he asks for fish who will give him a serpent? If you then being evil know how to give good gifts to your children how much more your father who is in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him. Dear one, we also need to trust in God and in his wonderful plans and purposes for us as his children. Hear the assurance he gave to his people who were taken into captivity by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. He said in Jeremiah 29 verse 11, I know the thoughts that I think towards you said the Lord thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you unexpected end. We see this assurance evident in the lives of Esther, Elizabeth, Sarah and Mordecai whose life stories were just beautiful to read and their ends better than one could have imagined with seemingly heartache twist and turns but all ending well in joyful praises. Like they did we also need to commit all our ways to God Proverbs chapter 3 verses 5 and 6. Yield ourselves to him and be obedient to his directions and instructions in our daily living. By so doing he will take forefront position and influence matters in our favor according to his purposes for our life. And like Esther who declared a fast and called upon God to intervene in her situation and God honored her call and pleaded her cause, we need to learn to call upon God to step into our daily circumstances. Always remember that no aspect of your life will be left out of his influence if you allow him. He is the best matchmaker, job placer, child giver, scholarship rewarder, event organizer and whatever you can think about. Dear one, times may be hard with many people doing so many things whether acceptable or not to make it in this life. However the assurance we can rely on is that our Father God is committed to see into it that we succeed. We only need to trust in him and his plans for us. We need to be obedient to his instructions irrespective of the circumstances. He knows how to navigate us through hopeless situations and still cause things to happen in our favor. Despite the difficult times God can exceed our expectations and wildest dreams and make us end gloriously. If God is not your father yet, it's never too late to say a sincere prayer now and invite Christ into your heart to be your Lord and Savior. He is the way to God who earnestly wants to father you. God richly bless you as you become a doer of his word. Shalom. Beloved we want to take our memory verse together from Matthew chapter 7 the verse 11. Taking it from the world's English Bible, British edition. If you then being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him. Beloved let's share a word of prayer. Father we thank you and we give you praise for exposing us to your word this morning. We pray for the grace to believe and to trust in your plans that you have towards us which according to your word are good and they are not of evil to bring us to unexpected end. We ask for the grace as well to be obedient to you every step of the way that we may see your hand in our lives every day. We give you praise, we give you glory, in Jesus mighty name we are prayed. Amen and Amen. Precious one, God richly bless you for participating in today's morning global devotion. I know there is more to come your way on radio ACI today so don't shut a dial. Tune in throughout the day so you can have a conducive spiritual atmosphere. God richly bless you.
