Dungeons & Dragons is not just a game, it's a safe space for people to express themselves. It requires a good Dungeon Master and a party to thrive. The game has been around for a long time and is loved by outcasts and marginalized individuals. In an episode called "Origins Explore an Identity," two characters, Sandra and Crosby, face challenges and discover more about themselves. D&D provides a safe space for people to explore their identity. Home can do multiple things. It's a specific place, yes, but it is also a feeling. Feeling safe enough to express yourself with others is at the core of a successful Dungeons & Dragons campaign. A player also cannot survive without a party, and a party cannot survive without a good DM. D&D has been around for decades. As an outlet for the outcast, and a safe haven for the marginalized, come with us, dorks and dummies, as we explore this game through our very own mini-campaign. This episode, Origins Explore an Identity, followed by Sandra and Crosby, a rogue and bard thrown together in the middle of nowhere trying to find their way home. They meet new people from all walks of life, and face countless challenges that each help to reveal new pieces of themselves. Follow us as we explore how D&D gives people a safe space to express their identity.
