I'm back and better with a new and improved podcast. I decided to pivot some things, one of them being the formatting of the podcast and the discussion of different Black women who have helped crew evolve to what it is today, beginning with Jessie Maple. She was the first Black woman period to get into the camera union and the first Black woman to create a full-length feature film independently. She released a few books, one of the being the Maple Crew and left an incredible legacy behind.
