I'm very excited. Can you believe it? I can. You've been chatting about it for quite a while. I'm glad that you finally gave the nudge, stepped out of your comfort zone, all of the things to put this together. And now you've inspired me, so let's do this. Oh, good. I'm glad. And hopefully we've got some people listening, so thanks for joining if you actually are listening. Or not. It doesn't matter. So today I thought everybody should know how we met and how this whole thing started. Okay. Where did we meet? I'm going to go right off the cuff. Bocampers. We met at Bocampers in Plantation. University. Isn't that closed now? Oh, no. That was off of Pine Island. That was where there was a restaurant that I used to eat with my parents when I lived in Davie. It was like a fancy joint or fancier. Yeah. Well, now it's closed. Yeah. The only Bocampers now is open is in the one in Fort Lauderdale. That's right. And that was the one where you were eating the wings and you had wing sauce all over your face. Yeah. I can imagine what happened. Usually wings are a little bit of a messy product to eat from time to time. I couldn't believe it. We met at Bocampers and that was... That was for Miami Hurricane Day. It was a Thursday night and I'll never forget it because that was the first time. Well, I shouldn't say the first time, but I was at the gym with my friend. And our mutual friend kept texting me to say, come out to watch the game. And I was like, I'm not going to go. And she goes, you're going to go. You're going to go. You got to go. She's like, you're going to go. You're going to go. Sure enough, I went. And you were there and this big bald head tall guy is like, you know, all jacked up, ready to go. Looking good, I'm sure. Well, of course I got you. I'm going to put myself right there right now. I can imagine. I remember the shirt I was wearing, I think. It was the green hurricane shirt with the U on it, which I can't seem to find again, by the way. I really want that shirt again. I've looked all over, all canes and all the bullshit website and Amazon. By the way, Amazon has a really shitty selection of hurricane apparel. Did you try UN Athletics? Yeah. I even went to that store. I don't know. I can't find a decent shirt. Well, we'll have to keep looking. Maybe it's me, though. That's a distinct possibility. It could be. There's a lot of stuff. Erin Andrews has a really good store. We should look it up. EA Ware. But that's for girls. I don't know. We have to keep looking for you. How did we get to Erin Andrews? I love Erin Andrews. My toes are just blurred out. All right. So we met at Bocampo. And you asked me, I remember one of the small conversations was you asked me where I live. And I was like, I live in Pompano. And you were like, oh, I'm a fireman in Pompano. Special ops. I'm pretty sure it was just blurred out. Special ops off the rip. I would have saved that, you know, when I needed it. There was a Hail Mary or something that I needed. Well, in your defense, you were diving a lot more back then for when cars would go like underneath the lake and stuff. Yeah. Back when we used to actually have a team that did that sort of thing. That's crazy. Yeah. I remember you had your dive gear that you would bring over to my apartment. Anyway, so then three weeks went by. I had to travel around with it. I couldn't keep it in my truck in Pompano because the likelihood of it getting stolen. Yeah. Okay, so three weeks went by. And we were out. You just travel time like that? Yeah, I do. I remember it was three weeks. And our mutual friend Jim, again, was texting me and saying, let's go to the game. Come to the game with us. And I was like, sure, because my brother and I are going to go and my friend Steve is coming. Yeah. And I remember asking, is this one accounted for? What do you mean, is this one accounted for? Well, you know, like, I didn't know what, you know, are you taken? Are you seen? You know what the deal was. Accounted for? Is that how you put it? I don't remember exactly. It's been quite a number of years that there was some sort of adjective that I used to convey that, hey, what's up with this one? I can repeat the adjective. Right. What's up with this one? Who's fucking her? I don't know. Maybe it may have been something like that. Exactly. Yeah. And to my knowledge, nobody. So I said, OK, well, that was the starting point there generally. No, I did want to with our friend, mutual friend there, but he wasn't. Yeah, well, it happens. Anyhow. Yeah, but I didn't realize that you were the same person that was coming to the apartment because he said, you and my brother meet me back in my apartment. And I'm going to go get subs. And my friend Steve is going to drive us and meet us at my apartment. Right. So me and his brother were waiting at the apartment. He comes back with the subs. Oh, but I've been driving those two to the games for about this time forever. 30 years? Yeah. We used to take my old Jeep. I had an old 85 CJ7 that we would roll down there with. No top. No door. Just a bikini. And I would take the top off. So you can imagine what that looked like driving down to the game. Yeah. But you knocked on the door and I see you and you're standing there. The same stance that you do to this day. Actually, you did it the other day, walking from outside to inside. Oh, trust me. I perfected it. Your chest is always out. Your head's held high. I am ready. And you're just like this cocky confidence about you. Oh, that's very nice. And you're standing in the doorway with your hands on your hips. We got some canes over here. And I'm looking at them and I go, oh, it's this guy. Yeah, the obnoxious one. Oh, okay. Yeah. And I say, oh, the hot one. I go, shit, the hot one. The one that always has to be seen. That one. Yeah. That guy. That guy. So then you're driving and we get into your truck. Right. And you had to move the baby seat. And there were sippy cups in the back on the floor of the truck. Well, I wanted to let you know that I had some baggage. So you know my thoughts right away. I wanted to go right out there. The thought of you being hot and I'm like, ooh, let me pursue this guy went right through my head. Nope, done. Right. Of course. I can see that, yeah. No. Who wants to hang out with an 11-month-old or somebody that, you know. Anyway, I was just like happy and excited that I was going to a game with like three hot guys. You know what I mean? Like I was all excited. Of course. Well, they were hot at the time. Who wouldn't be? Right. So we go to the game and we. What's interesting is I think they're still hot. I don't see anything, you know. Okay. Well, I'm not attracted to them. Oh, I'm sorry. All right. Fair enough. They're good looking guys. Right, okay. Okay. Well, you meant it like something happened. No, no, no, no, no. No, I just meant like. All right. I don't find them attractive anymore. I just wanted to make sure. At the time, yeah, I found all three of you attractive, yeah. Fair enough. Yeah. Right. And I've hung out with all three of you separately before, too. Right. Which I've always had fun with you guys. That's encouraging stories. Okay. Tell me more. Anyway. So we changed numbers at the game by. And you were slick with this. We took. I took a picture of the four of us. And you go, oh, send me that picture. Right. You didn't give a fuck about the picture. No. Well, I needed some digits. You needed some digits. That was my in. Yeah. And so after that, we started talking via text message a lot. Right. Right. And eventually we had a first date. Which.
