Im Rockertwald bei Gernsbach im Murgtal tobt einst ein Rechtsstreit um Landbesitz zwischen Gemeinden und einer Gräfin. Nach einem geheimnisvollen Eid stirbt sie – doch ihr Geist kehrt als „Rockertweibchen“ zurück. Mit Schlüsseln in der Hand erscheint sie im Wald, begleitet von rätselhaften Zeichen und dem Ruf „Hu… hu…“. Seitdem gilt der Wald als Ort, an dem Recht, Schuld und Erinnerung weiterwirken.
