This is a guided relaxation and visualization exercise. It starts by finding a comfortable place to relax and taking deep breaths. The exercise focuses on imagining the body relaxing and feeling energy flowing through it. It suggests visualizing the brain rewiring itself for clarity and focus. The listener is guided to imagine themselves in an elevator, sinking deeper into relaxation. The exercise then addresses a specific task that they feel resistance towards, asking them to imagine it in a bubble and visualize themselves completing it. It suggests that once the task is completed, more positive opportunities will arise. The exercise ends with a countdown to wakefulness, feeling better than before. Begin by finding a comfortable place to sit or lie down, taking a moment to settle in and make sure that your body feels supported and relaxed. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in, allowing your body to relax with each exhale, sinking more deeply into your body and your body sinking more deeply into the surface you are resting on. As you continue to slow your breath, imagine your mind as a vast network of neurons, each firing and connecting in perfect harmony. With each breath in, feel the sensation of energy flowing through your body, moving from the tips of your toes, up your legs, through the pelvis, up the spine, through the neck and tingling through the head and the scalp. Focus on the sensation of relaxing now, spreading calm through your body like warm golden light, entering the top of the head, through the crown, warm like honey flowing down the head, through the neck, soothing and relaxing every muscle in the shoulders, flowing down the spine, through the pelvis, down the legs and down and out the feet. And then just like if you had tiny little faucets on every finger and at the end of every toe, allow relaxation and warm golden light to pour out of your fingertips and pour out of the toes, releasing all tension, soothing every muscle and fiber. As you relax deeper and deeper, imagine your genes activating, unlocking their potential for healing. Imagine your body lighting up as all the neural pathways in your brain rewire themselves for greater clarity and focus. Imagine yourself standing in a golden elevator. And as you look at the numbered buttons in the golden reflective elevator, you watch yourself move down each floor from 10 all the way to the first ground floor. And as you move down, you allow your body to sink deeper and deeper into relaxation and into rest. Moving from 10, 9, 8, 7, sinking, 6, 5, feeling sleepy, 4, 3, 2, 1, deep relaxation. And every single time I say the words deep relaxation for the purpose of hypnosis and only with your consent, you allow yourself to relax deeper and even deeper still. I want you to imagine the task that you feel the most resistance around. Imagine it inside of a bubble, floating out in front of you, looming, glowing with light. And just like bubbles have a prismatic glow when the sun glints off of them, I want you to see it shining and floating. And using your creative imagination, project yourself forward later in this day, accomplishing this task that you're viewing inside the bubble. And I want you to think about all the other things in your day flowing more smoothly since it is complete and that tab deleted out of your mind. And as you move forward without this task on your to-do list anymore, more and more positive opportunities present themselves to you. And you now have the mind space to enjoy them with that task accomplished. A whole series of positive changes and opportunities start to unfold within and around you. And as you gather all of this positive momentum and bring it into focus, feel that motivation and energy building until you view this task bubble floating in front of you and decide to immediately act on it, causing that bubble to pop, scattering rainbow lights as it dissolves, pulling and culling all of that motivation up inside of you, taking action to fuel the rest of your day. Once again, using your creative imagination to view these tasks that you feel resistance around, floating in little bubbles in front of you. And as you accomplish them today, feeling that little pop as they pop and disappear from your task to-do list, opening up freedom of mind. You will take these suggestions beyond today into tomorrow and even further into the future. In a moment, I will begin counting from one to five. And when I reach the number five, you will wake feeling better than ever. One, coming back into the room. Two, beginning to feel your fingers and toes, arms and legs, face and head. Three, taking a few good deep breaths, waking up from the inside out. Four, feeling better and better from the tips of your toes to the top of your head. Five, waking up, open eyes, feeling great. One, two, three, four, five, waking up, open eyes, feeling great.
