This song has a deeper story. It stemmed from our therapist's response to the struggles of a client carrying childhood wounds inflicted by her parents, specifically her father. It's becoming increasingly common to see fathers with undiagnosed or unmanaged ADHD expressing their frustrations through explosive outbursts, often directed at their daughters. We took our therapist's response to this client and set it to music, hoping to offer these young women a message of hope and support.
