God wants to bless us. Oftentimes, the conditions of our own hearts hinders the blessings of God. It is not unlike the farmer with hard, unproductive soil. The soil must first be prepared to receive the seed, and it must be tended to for the health of the desired plants, for the blessing of harvest to be possible. We must prepare our hearts for what God wants to do in our lives.
