The writer discusses the concept of escaping societal conditioning and taking control of one's life. They explain the idea of astral projection and how our thoughts and energy influence our experiences. The writer highlights the Laws of the Universe, focusing on the Law of Attraction, Law of Action, and Law of Assumption. They use deductive and inductive reasoning, as well as emotional appeals, to support their arguments. The writer encourages readers to take the first step towards reclaiming control of their lives. ESCAPE THE MATRIX AND TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE By Ethan Hartran Dear reader, I am making this to inform you of this important knowledge. Yes, I'm talking to you reading this. The universe is always at work and finds a way to show you exactly what you need to see, and at the exact right time, which could even be right now. A lot of what is going to be stated here will be hard to believe considering we live our whole lives conditioned to social norms and society's propaganda. So, I advise taking everything with a grain of salt and an open mind. You are more than your physical body. That quote was coined by a man named Robert A. Monroe, who had a major impact in the world, specifically in spiritual communities, bringing attention and awareness to a profound phenomena called astral projection, or better yet known as out-of-body experiences. This is where we quite literally leave our physical body and go to a plane of existence called the astral plane. The astral plane is pure energy. In fact, everything is energy. When we leave our physical body, we go out with our energy body, and we take our consciousness with us. Everything that happens on the astral plane is actually affected by everyone's thoughts, including your own. The physical plane that we live on and call Earth is directly influenced by the astral plane, which is one slash connected with the universe. Every thought and desire that we have is sent out and picked up by the universe as energy. It's then processed, and based on your intention and energy, it will manifest and send you more experiences based on whatever energy you sent out, positive and negative. You see, the universe doesn't see good or bad. It only sees your energy and sends you more of that. It blesses everyone with unconditional love, and if you want something, it will give it to you. Only problem is people don't realize this and end up self-sabotaging themselves by entertaining negative thoughts, therefore being sent more negative experiences by the universe. But it isn't the universe at fault. It's the person sending out that energy and entertaining those negative thoughts. So how do I apply this knowledge? Luckily, there's these things called the Laws of the Universe. These laws are basically mental laws you must follow to single-handedly change and manipulate your environment. There are actually 12 universal laws, but to keep it short, I'll list the important ones needed to make an impact in your life. First up is the Law of Attraction. This law basically states that whatever you think, whether it be positive or negative, you attract exactly that. As I stated in a previous slide, this law directly represents that. Next up is the Law of Action, which states that in order to manifest your goals, you need to take action and steps towards achieving this goal. An example of this would be a story of a woman who was trying to manifest her dream husband. Every day she believed and tried to manifest him, but it wasn't working. She realized that she wanted a husband, but wasn't taking action in preparing for him. Her closet was full of her clothes. She was sleeping in the middle of the bed. She parked her car in the middle of the driveway. She realized she was sending out a signal that she was ready for a husband, but her living conditions and situation wasn't representing that. She immediately took action and moved all her clothes to one side of the closet, leaving space for his clothes. She moved her car to one side of the driveway, leaving space for his car, and she started sleeping on one side of the bed, leaving space for him. All of these little actions completed the puzzle, and not long after, her husband came into her life exactly as she had manifested. You have to be careful about sending out mixed signals to the universe, so be clear and intentful. Lastly would be the Law of Assumption, coined by a famous mystic speaker, Neville Goddard, which states that to achieve whatever you desire, you must believe you already have it. The brain doesn't know what's real or fake, so when you tell yourself something, it believes it's true. You can use this to your advantage in rewiring your brain and removing self-imposed limiting beliefs. Believing is power, so believe whatever you want and escape the bounds placed upon us by society. Rhetorical Appeals and Devices This whole concept and idea is a stretch to understand and take in as factual, so I incorporated a few different reasonings to help my case. First up, I used deductive reasoning, which is where I stated a scientifically proven fact that everything is energy. That, along with inductive reasoning, which is where you start with specific observations or facts and infer a general rule or conclusion from them. The logical facts are used to get the rich started on some solid ground, but this kind of thing cannot be proven by science. It is a subjective experience that everyone can experience with a little bit of trust in taking that first step and actually trying. I also incorporated the use of pathos, where I tried to speak to the reader in a way that would inspire them and cause a spark in them and their emotions. Regarding rhetorical devices, this slide shows full of figurative language, especially metaphors. This slide alone has three uses of metaphors, and others have many more. Final Thoughts I believe that through my use of rhetorical devices, rhetorical appeals, logical reasoning, and more, I was hopefully able to spark something in the reader to, at the very least, try applying any of what was stated. It may seem overwhelming, but all you need to do is take that first step. It's a life journey, and there is much more to learn and a lot of information I had to leave out. My point isn't to overwhelm the reader. It's to spark some inspiration to take that first step towards reclaiming control of their life. This message is for you. Reading this right now.
