Earlier then he was supposed to coffee set sail allowing Charlotte to rest early. When Lydia awakens she noticed Whelan already up. He's in the same position as before but looks at her. Lydia looks at him and thanks my Whelan. She then goes over to coffee and keeps him company. Hours pass before Charlotte and Helen awaken. Charlotte rushes to eat some brew so she can offer some to Whelan. Helen is just proud coffee did as told. She goes over to embrace him. Charlotte while waiting on the brew to warm checks how far out they are. She's a bit shocked. Charlotte goes over to Helen and says coffee's doing some good steering huh? Helen with an impressed expression says that I taught him. Charlotte for sure expression says that's so huh? Bad he's steering in the wrong direction. Gale is east not south. Helen's eyes widen as she rushes over to coffee and takes over steering. Charlotte walks over to Whelan and says we are a little off course but we'll get back in no time. Soon though they hear a large thump and assume it's invading pirates again. Charlotte and Whelan saw it strong go over to where it came from to see. They are taken aback to find it is just a small rowboat with the two passengers of James and Lee. James sorrowful expression says our apologies for that. We are new to this in fact we are lost. We were trying to get near Taylin but been a little lost for some time. Lee is blank faced because she realizes they have stumbled into trouble again as she can tell they are pirates. Charlotte says Taylin? Taylin? How on Iowa could you get this lost? You's not seafarers at all huh? James and Lee both shake their heads no. James says we'd be more than welcome if you could assist us even let us along. Lee looks at him confused. James thinks dang it I didn't desire Lee to know how over my head I was in doing this but if we don't get a ride we probably end up selling off Iowa soon. Charlotte always want to help others says that won't be a problem. You's all may come along. You's pull your own weight. You's drop off will be after we let these pointing at Whelan with their thumb as she continues offing guy oh and know we be pirates no funny business or in pieces they find you. James blank face quickly agrees but Lee looks mortified. Whelan helps them avoid. Everyone is introduced to another following this. Knowing Whelan's stop is soon Charlotte gives James and Lee the room Lydia slept in. Lee whispers only because there's no space am I sharing the bed with you. James whispers after all we've been through? Lee whispers after. Helen staring says to Charlotte those two sound like lovers who just are afraid to admit it. Is that you's and Whelan? Charlotte's cheeks get red and she walks off. Helen says I touched him first as she smirks. Charlotte looks back at her and smiles from ear to ear. Over at the edge of the ship Whelan stands looking off into the distance. Lydia is by his side looking up to him. Lydia eagerly says my Whelan please can we stay here amongst them? We both have friends here and Whelan says Gale is where you go. Lydia says my Whelan. Just as Charlotte walks up holding two cups of brew she is startled by how passionate the child's calling out of his name is. Even more she is taking her back she called him my Whelan. Charlotte says I bought brew for you's two's. I hope it wasn't the wrong time. Lydia looks up to her and grimaces. She storms off. Whelan on the other hand takes his cup and bows to her. They drank together but barely a word is said. Lydia goes and sits by coffee. He stands near the steering Helen. Coffee places his arm around her shoulder. She looks up to him tearful and smiles. Coffee says Helen does this often to me. When they are about to reach the shore of Gale it is revealed the land has no docks. Lydia sits near coffee and thinks he talks to her more and more. Why though is it because she is older than me? He just desires to do away with me. All the time we spent together it's about to be gone as if it never happened and this is how you spin the end of it? Daddy gone, Ma gone, Dougal just as well gone. The dock on the shore. Charlotte, Helen and coffee see them off. James and Lee get much needed rest at this time. Lydia and coffee hug while Helen pats her on the back. Charlotte gives Whelan a passionate kiss on the cheek. This causes Lydia to walk away from near her and they don't say farewell to another. They then sell off while Whelan and Lydia head to her home.
