Nothing to say, yet
The Catholic Church believes that the Eucharist is the most important part of Christian life and that Jesus is present at every Mass. Saints and angels are also present. If we could see them, it might change how we view and attend Mass. Each person has a guardian angel who accompanies them to Mass and protects them. If we could see our guardian angels, our churches would look different. During the Eucharist prayer, the priest asks the Holy Spirit to make the bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Jesus. The Catholic Church teaches that the Eucharist is the source and summit of Christian life, that Jesus Christ is truly present at every Mass. The Mass is the representation of his suffering, death, and resurrection. At each Mass, a multitude of saints and angels are present. If we could see them, would it change how we view the Mass? Would it change our desire to attend Mass? Would we be so easily tempted to skip Mass or to worship somewhere else? If we really saw what was happening behind the veil. Angels are everywhere. In fact, each one of us has a guardian angel that is with us all the time. That angel accompanies us to Mass, guides us in our decisions, and protects us from harm. If you could see your guardian angel at Mass, imagine how different our churches would look. During the Eucharist prayer, the priest extends his hands over the bread and wine and calls down the Holy Spirit to sanctify our offering, so at the words of consecration they may become the Body and Blood of Jesus. Jesus Christ, the Bread of Life, becomes truly present.
