Smack

The audio titled "Smack" opens with a distinct clapping sound that reverberates in the air, immediately capturing your attention. This is not the light applause one might hear at a performance, but rather the sharp, clear sound of one firm hand clapping against another. The sound alone is enough to evoke an image of hands coming together with a good deal of force. As the audio continues, the listener becomes aware that this is not just a single clap. There are several of them, each one distinct and clear. The sound of these claps is interspersed with pauses that serve to highlight each individual smack. The audio then takes a surprising turn as the claps evolve into a series of slaps. The sound is slightly different now, heavier and with a deeper echo.
