As the audio begins, the faint yet distinct sound of a bicycle with studded tires crunching over a frost-kissed path can be heard. The rider is pedaling through a field in Helsinki, during the heart of winter. The cold air is crisp and fresh, the sound of the tyres is rhythmically soothing and gives an intimate feel to the experience, thanks to the binaural recording method used. Suddenly, the tranquil ambiance is broken by the distant, approaching rumble of a train. The sound gradually grows louder, a testament to the power and size of the locomotive, and it's clear that a train is passing through nearby Pasila. As the train passes, it churns out a symphony of mechanical roars, whirrs and the rhythmic clatter of steel wheels on tracks.
