Ishani is a student who wants to become a general practitioner. She enjoyed the transition workshop in her MEDS 1001 course the most. They got to use virtual reality headsets and examine a human brain model. Ishani found it fascinating to be guided through medical procedures as if she was doing them herself. She is grateful for the experience. Hi everyone, my name is Ishani and I aspire to be a general practitioner. Out of everything in our MEDS 1001 course, I enjoyed the transition workshop the most, where we got to use the alternate reality and virtual reality headsets. It was really fascinating to examine and move the human brain model in my own hands, and to be guided through a medical procedure as if I was really doing them in first person. I'm really grateful I got to experience it.
