In 1995, three guys who worked together in a guitar factory, went into Dave Sinton's studio in Kircubbin, N. Ireland to lay down the first tracks of what was to become the Colours album. The recording engineer was Johnny Grant. With Dee on vocals and acoustic guitar in one room along with Ernie McMillan on bass, and Mark Lyttle in another room on electric guitar, the tracks were recorded as a one take live recording. Apart from a second vocal on Ice Queen, that was pretty much it.
