Generative AI is seen as a threat to creativity, according to the speaker. They have observed how their friends have been using AI, such as chat GPT and Bing AI, to assist them in writing essays and creating artwork. The speaker is interested in exploring how Generative AI will affect individual creativity and the education of younger generations. Creativity has always been vital to me, and Generative AI threatens that. Over the last two semesters, I've seen my friends taking advantage of AI firsthand, whether using chat GPT to help them write essays and expand upon their prompts, or using Bing AI to create artwork instantly in their spare time. In this project, I wanted to dive into the impact that Generative AI may have on the creativity of individuals and how it impacts the education of the younger generations.
