While doing an exercise in MuseScore to develop more opera chops writing, I adapted part of the scene between Father Merrin and Pazuzu from The Exorcist. Using a fugal approach from Bartok's Music for Strings, Percussion and Celestra and some quarter tone writing, it didn't turn out half bad. It was also to test Cantai as playback. It kinda plays back like Stravinsky's Symphony of Psalms however. Very polyphonic in its writing. Lots of contrapuntal density. Maybe I will bookmark this idea fo
