I'm excited to be here. It is a beautiful Monday, January 29th. The month is technically over and everybody's getting ready for Black History Month. I'm pretty sure there's going to be a lot of programs happening all across South Florida, across the country. It's going to be an exciting time, an exciting year. We've had so many things take place. We had a lot of wins last year in the black community. A lot of people were just pioneering different industries. I saw a lot of things in aviation. I saw a lot of things in sports. I saw a lot of things in culinary. I saw a lot in education. Big shout out to all of those people that definitely are striving for excellence. Just to let you guys know, I dropped my first skit. It is on TikTok and it is on Instagram. I was just testing out how I would be able to put out a skit. I'm always having ideas, always being a creative person. I put it out and I'm getting some comments here and there. It's the first one. I don't expect to go viral, but definitely you guys will be seeing more of that. Be sure to check it out. I'm not sure what I'm going to call my characters yet. I'm going to see what happens and go from there. Things are just going great overall. Definitely you guys are going to be getting more episodes from The Dark Files. Be sure to check out The Dark Files. It is a series of me sharing a real story of how I came to the point of taking entrepreneurship seriously, taking money seriously, taking life seriously. Not to say that I wasn't ever taking it seriously. It simply was the fact that I had a certain programmed look of life. I went to school. I came out of college with no debt. I'm blessed for that. I got married, had kids, and I'm a faith-based person. Like I said, I'm a Christian. I love Jesus Christ. I just saw my life unraveling bit by bit. I'm like, there's just more to life. I can honestly say I had that it's more to life experience. I said I just started to question everything around me. When I started having tough situations happen to me, I was like, yeah, definitely for sure. We got to see what's going on with this. It's just been an interesting journey with that and creating my business and pushing my brand. I'm just thankful and blessed to be in a position to do these kind of things. Definitely with the dark files, people are going to be asking more questions about it. Right now, I got 12 episodes out, and I've covered, I would say, a decent basis. This narrative is going to go on for a while. I'm not going to tell you guys my end goal. We'll ride this wave. So far, I just covered different things. I talked about very briefly what my world was like when I was a little kid and pretty much just being born and growing up straight in the church, being around different communities and what happened when I started to get the first taste of what real life was like. Obviously, I'm a novice to it. I will say this, that it's 2024, and I love social media. Let me tell you something. People can say what they want, but I'm a firm believer that there are certain things that God allows to leave the invisible world and enter the visible world. Whether people like it or not, whether people say it's to our detriment, ultimately, if you look at it, it's really for us to maximize on. I love social media because social media brings every narrative that you wouldn't be able to hear 40, 50 years ago, and it would actually take 40, 50 years before a documentary would maybe be released about it. You can hear about it every single day. So I love the fact that social media allows everybody's story, everybody's life, everybody's reality to be available for the world to see in real time, and I feel like some people capitalize on that so that they could not only show the narrative that they've been living but create their own narrative. So I don't bash anybody for the different platforms they create with social media. I know right now there are a lot of people who just get largely upset because of people gravitating to social media simply because a lot of those people, they feel, just don't have what it takes to steward a social media platform. But it's 2024. We have to really accept the fact. We've seen these patterns. Something comes out. We don't know if it's going to be good or bad for human beings. We haven't determined that yet, but we know that good, bad, ugly, demonic, whatever you want to call it, that follows anything. It follows people. It follows creation. It follows everything. So we know that when something comes out, good, bad, ugly, all of that is going to follow it. So if a person is out here and they're getting involved in social media, you can't get mad that you just might see something that you didn't want to see or you didn't plan to see, and you feel like that person is not stewarding an awesome platform like social media. Well, the good, the bad, the ugly follows anything that's good, bad, and ugly. That's how life is. That's how this world is set up. So a lot of people on social media, they hate the information that they're hearing. It could be about racism. It can be about financial literacy. It can be about world health, global warming, war. It can be about industry. It could be about Wall Street. It could be about the stock market. It can be about LGBTQ, me too. It can be about anything, celebrities, rappers. Everybody's getting sick and tired because they feel like things are oversaturated, and they're actually not. Like, I do the research. Like, there's not, the whole entire world is not on social media. Let's just throw that out there. And for the people who are on social media, literally probably 10% of all of the people that are on social media are actively talking about issues, world issues, day-to-day issues, you know. And so I noticed that even recently there's an attack on podcasts. Like, people are being upset. Everybody's starting a podcast. All a podcast is, guys, like, we got to grow up. All a podcast is is the conversations that people used to have in the basement back in the day, people used to have in bars and clubs, or people used to have wherever they chose to meet up at. All it is now is that there's a microphone put in front of it. So we shouldn't be mad that people are just amplifying the conversations they already have been having. For the fact that it already existed, you know, you should have known better. So I feel like sometimes people don't really pay attention to how human beings are, you know, how we're wired. It doesn't matter, race, color, creed. Like, these things already exist. I think sometimes people don't realize that they think they've achieved this place where, like, they are comfortable in their skin and they themselves don't find themselves weird and all these things like that. I don't think people realize that there is 8 billion people on this planet. Every single person you meet, there's going to be a tradeoff of emotions and feelings and energies and all that different stuff. That's just what's going to happen. So I just feel like people kind of need to grow up in that regard and stop bashing people for what they use social media for. You know, like, I'm using social media to build my brand, to build as an entrepreneur, to tell my stories, to tell my jokes, to tell my whatever it is. And who's going to rock with me is going to rock with me. But, you know, it is what it is. So, you guys, make sure you check out the Dark Files. I release clips on Instagram. I talk about it on my podcast. I'm putting stuff on YouTube now. I'm putting stuff on LinkedIn now. Soon I'm going to get a Twitch account. And, you know, I'm going to make this happen. So you guys continue to follow me, man. But, you know, this is where we at. We here, baby. Honor kings and sons. You know, this is where we at. This is where we at. So, you know, moving along, I want to be able to get into more detail about what's up and coming, you know, in the Honor Kings and Sons, I guess you would say, calendar. You know, my big goal this year is just to really build a lot of connections in the community. I want to be able to work with, you know, faith based groups. I want to be able to work with community groups. I want to be able to work in schools because I'm a former educator. I want to be able to work in those spaces. And I want to hear people's story. You know, one of the things that I say, I have it on some of my platforms, and I say it to people, is I'm on a journey of reaching untapped greatness. And I also want to help people build their kingdom and find their kingdom. Like that's the thing with Honor Kings and Sons. I want to make sure that people can be able to find themselves, you know, get the resources in order to do so. Some people have made a name for themselves, and they didn't have good parents or their parents weren't active in their life. But they don't have people to talk about, you know, the process of dealing with that and what it's been like to try and create an identity or find an identity outside of your loved ones. Some people did have their family in their life, and, you know, they were successful or unsuccessful. You know, I want to hear about that. I want to hear the voice of the orphan. I want to hear the voice of the widow. I want to hear the voice of that father, you know, that made bad choices when he was a young man, and now he's in a state of redemption. He's redeeming himself. He's redeeming his family. It doesn't matter if he's incarcerated or not. It doesn't matter if he's halfway across the world and his family's on the other side of the world. It doesn't matter. I just want to be able to connect with those people. I love conversation. I love having conversations, and I definitely want to be able to do that. I've been checking, you know, the streams on my podcast. And, guys, be sure to be able to, as you're streaming and downloading, you know, to follow me on my social media channels so that you don't miss out on different events I'm doing, in-person events that's going to be happening. You know, I want you to be able to get a glimpse of what I'm doing. And if you want to bring it to your city, you want to bring it to your country, definitely let's make it happen. You know, so real quick, follow me, Honor Kings and Sons, on Instagram. Also, on LinkedIn, if you just type in Darion Jones, you'll see my brand. You'll see Honor Kings and Sons. If you type in YouTube, Honor Kings and Sons TV, you'll find me. You know, definitely, I'm everywhere. So I just want to be able to connect with people from all across the world and all across the globe, you know, on this platform and, you know, just build with people. So, yeah, man, I want to be able to let you guys know that with every project that I'm putting out, you know, I want to be able to have a set collection. I want to be able to create a catalog of just content that you guys have. My comic series that I've been putting out on Instagram is there, and I'm working on a new one right now. I dropped three videos, no, two videos. One is not completed yet. I'm talking about the war on gender. That's a pretty crazy one right now from, like, I would say this has been going on on the standpoint of social media because once a topic hits social media, that's when you know if there's, like, war that's about to, like, take place. So this whole thing on, you know, gender and not talking about LGBTQ. That's not, I guess you would say it's like a spectrum, right? So anything having to do with male and female, anything having to do with the identification or classification of the human anatomy, that's what this is talking about. So the war on gender right now is amongst the heterosexuals. I call it the civil war, the civil war on gender. It's like I personally am starting to feel that they're pinning men against women. And if you as a person who's faith-based, you know, like I say, I love everyone. I love everyone. I fellowship with everyone, but I have my views. As a person that's faith-based, this is not even touching, you know, LGBTQ, strictly just heterosexuals. It's crazy to me how this narrative has gone on for a very long time. I would say this narrative has been in existence pretty much 1920. You know, I would say 1920 simply because that's around the time women got the right to vote. And the years prior to that was, you know, the Western world dealing with war and men being away and women stepping up and the rise of entrepreneurship amongst women and, you know, just that passing down through the 20s, the 30s, the 40s, the 50s, the 60s. We had drugs that started to just rip America a new one as early as the 40s, right? A lot of people don't even know that the opioid crisis that goes on in America now, if you study world history and you know that opium, you know, having a strong presence in Asia and things like that, you have to understand that this is a crisis that has shown its face many times in world history. So you have that that that came before like stuff like heroin, cocaine, crack, LSD, you know, minor drugs, PCP, we can go on and on and on. Like if you just if you just look at the different ways of things that hit the United States, you know, just different types of corruption, you know, you name it. And all those different things, right? Like I say, it's drugs, it's war, it's corruption, it's the industry, it's religion. If you pay attention, remember, that stuff affects human beings and human beings are made up of what? Male, female, right? So it's like, if you put if you put the standpoint of where men, men stand and where women stand on all of those, and you track it all the way back, slowly, but surely, this has been something that's been that's been long overdue to address. But now we're in 2024. We got, you know, you know, the modern day woman, she's she's speaking her mind, you know, about how she feel a man should come correct. And, and a man is speaking his mind. And, and now you got podcasts, you got podcasts being created where where it's all out war. Now you scroll on social media, especially on Instagram, it could be shade room, any one of those those things. And you will you will see like you will see podcast groups, and it's a whole bunch of women on one side with like five mics, six dudes on the other side with like five mics. And they just talking about what is the man what is the woman what they supposed to do? Should children be in the conversation? And should marriage be in the conversation? Divorce prenup? Do I do I tell them about all my money? Do I hide my money? You know, it's just crazy. Where we've gotten to. And that's why the dark files on my dark files project, I'm taking very seriously. Because like, all that people are arguing about, it can be it can be the differences that men and women have. You know, if you go back into the full picture of this world, where you have world hunger, you have human trafficking, you have war, you have corruption, you have police brutality, social injustice, racism, you have food scarcity, you have, you know, the concerns people have with, you know, the CDC, when it comes to health regulations, we just dealt with COVID-19. Back in 2019 2020 time period. So you have all of this that is going on in the world and religion and all that stuff. All of that stuff is happening. And what is it doing? It destroys the family dynamic, each, each and every one of those categories, crime, all of that stuff. They all attack the family dynamic. And then what is the underlying thing? What is the most oblique, consistent, consecutive narrative and streamline that's been following all of this from the beginning of time up until now? And it is what it is knowledge, it is, it is resources, skill, it is being able to manage currency, being able to manage wealth, the language of money, being able to make money, create money, create jobs, create assets, build wealth. Every time you look at a situation in the world, and you pay attention to to how the absence of money affects that situation. And the presence of money affects that situation. I guarantee you, you have a Emmy Award, Oscar nominated film on your hands that everybody will be dying to see because it's it that is the underlying narrative. And as a faith based person, and I talked about this, I'm going to get when I get to the money part in my in the dark files project, I think that's the part that's gonna like, that's gonna like have people turn it upside down when I say some of the stuff I'm going to say. But I'm gonna tell you right now, I am a firm believer that that any civilization that got the money game down pack, any civilization that got the money game down pack, there's not that many problems going on. I didn't say that there aren't problems. I just says there's not that many, which means that they can have one problem, but it's one huge problem. Right? Some people may say that one huge problem outweighs 35 small problems. What I'm trying to tell you is, is that even the Bible says that, that, that, you know, money is the answer to all things. Right? You know, so, and, and, and I don't want to go ahead of myself, but I'm gonna just say it because you know, this is a platform I can repeat myself as many times as I want. The truth of the matter is, this is that God and money are not equal. God and money are not equal, but they are similar. And in some ways, it's so hard to say that they're, that they're, it's so hard to say that they're not equal. In some ways, it's like God and money aren't equal. But obviously, when I say that, I am not, I am not sizing up money to be nowhere even near the sovereignty, the holiness, and the awesomeness of who God is. I'm just saying that God doesn't even put Satan, and people who, people who are very ignorant and people who think they understand religion or people who just, you know, had a bad experience with it, unfortunately, they think that somehow, and Hollywood aids to this a lot, they think that somehow God and Satan are enemies. God makes it very clear that Satan is not his enemy. He makes it clear that Satan is our enemy. The Bible says that woe to the earth because Satan, the adversary has come. Our adversary has come down. So you have to understand something that, that God and Satan, they don't, they don't look at each other eye to eye. And it's not a versus battle. It's not a, it's not a, it's not a, you know, a set boxing match. You know, like Mike Tyson and, and George Foreman or some junk like that. Like, no, it's no, it's not that. But God does say that you can't serve him and money or in the Old Testament mammon, which I later found out that was actually a name derived of an actual ancient God. So here's the crazy thing. Out of all the things that God will put even, even as close as a corresponding line related to himself, he chose money. And then he says later on that money answers all things. So that lets me know as a 33 or African-American man who was a husband, who was a father, who was a believer, who was a community leader, who was an entrepreneur that lets me know that I should be taking the money game more serious than most people. Most people do not take the money game seriously. And they think they've been taking it seriously because they go after the highest paying job and they go after the nicest car and they go after the finer things and expensive things in life. That does not mean that you're taking the money game seriously. No, even if you got the basics, you got good credit, you got health insurance, life insurance, you working to retire, you know, you make sure you provide for your kids. All my fellows out there who have children married or you're not married, you may think that you got the money game down pack, but I'm going to tell you something. History has shown us time and time again that the ones who think they got the money game down pack, they are far off. And when tough times really hit, that's when they get their feelings hurt. So it has led me to believe, ladies and gentlemen, that money is something that you have to look deeper into. And it's 2024. I had a family relative that we've been going back and forth talking about some family issues. And every time I think about that conversation, this person said this one line and it stuck with me forever. And they say, how come after all X, Y, and Z take place, now you want to talk about this and you want to make it your business to deal with X, Y, and Z situation? And I was like, simply because there wasn't a big enough catalyst. And that is what I'm seeing now. That's the wake up call I've gotten. Most people don't deal with issues that are very serious to them, their family, their future, until there's a big enough catalyst. That's why comfort is the silent killer. Everybody wants comfort, especially a person that's faith-based. Unfortunately, a lot of Christians, you ask them when it comes to money, oh, I don't want to be rich. I don't want too much. I just want to live comfortable. And you don't even know, you just set yourself up for something worse than the greatest torture you can think of. Comfort is dangerous. It needs, you as a human being, we as human beings, we as a race of beings, we need to have our comfort ripped from us. We need to not live in a state of comfort. Comfort and peace are two different things. There are seasons of peace. There are seasons of rest. And even peace, you have to be careful because the Bible talks about, we have to be careful with the peace that the world is focused on. And they try to generate and they try to promote because that peace will deceive you. So we have to understand that with money, you can't play with money. Your world has to be shaken up. You got to get a wake-up call and realize that this thing about money and wealth, this thing about conquering, this thing about having dominion, this thing about occupying land, and taking control and being able to really carve out your own narrative for you, your family, and your loved ones. It's a serious thing. And because many civilizations, many communities, many cultures don't take the money game serious, that's why we have what we have. And here's the thing. It's always nobody's fault. That's my favorite statement. It's always nobody's fault, but it is everybody's responsibility because a fault and a responsibility are two different things. So I always say it's never nobody's fault, but it should be everybody's responsibility. So I'm going to just let you guys know that we got to be careful out here when we talk how we talk about money, our viewpoints on money. Nobody's talking about me and money hungry, and that's where the immaturity, the ignorance, and the arrogance comes in. We've been so programmed to look at money a certain way that anybody who puts more time into it and who talks highly of it and who talks strategy and who teaches people how to get it, they're always trying to swindle you or they're always trying to confuse you or they're always trying to hustle you. They're not trying to do that. You might want to listen because you might just save yourself and your family. So when God says that you can't serve God and mammon, here's why. You can't serve God and mammon because money or mammon, it births sinful practices when you go after it and you get to the lifestyle and the behavior that you'll do anything to get it. It births sinful practices and sinful habits. You will start to do some strange things for a little piece of change. Shout out to Mike Epps, classic line. And so we got to be careful. We got to be super, super, super, super careful, man. We got to be super careful on how we go about this money thing. So God knows that money is a tool. God knows that money is an agent. God knows that money is a, man, it's like a cleaning service. It put everything in order, make everything look nice. All right. And he knows that it answers the problems of human beings. If right now the richest person in the world put all of their money, all of their assets into an account and that account was regulated by the world's greatest specialist that can send out tanks and send out aircraft shifts and send out, you know, whatever to make sure that all the, all the, all the living food. On planet Earth was distributed, distributed evenly. World hunger went in in less than a month. You know, it's not rocket science. It's simple, right? If the richest person in the world put all their money in one account, got the best specialists in the world to handle the distribution of making sure all the resources of food was evenly given, nobody would be hungry anymore. Right. And I'm going to get into world hunger later on because I have my personal views on it, but I'm not going to talk about it now. But yeah. And it could be other stuff, you know, war, you know, all these different things. Right. Like we have to understand that the more we get involved with being solution based in this planet, um, when it comes to money, we won't see a lot of this stuff that we see us human beings ourselves. We could clean up all the mess that's on planet Earth. Cause God, God is, God is everywhere, but he put us here on planet Earth. So a lot of the stuff on planet Earth that there's a lot of stuff on planet Earth we can fix. And the stuff that we know that we can't fix, that's up to Jehovah Elohim himself to deal with. Like he's, he's always done taking care of his people. Listen, I'm over my time. Um, but I, uh, I've been filling up myself with so much knowledge, reading, um, you know, just learning, uh, what's out there in the world. Um, so I went over my time today, guys, but listen, uh, when you read, when you are done listening to this episode, please make sure you go to YouTube. All right.
