Royal Park Primary School in Hyde Park was closed down in 2004 and has remained vacant ever since. Leeds City Council decided to transform the empty land into a park, which opened to the public recently. The park features community gardens, an outdoor gym, and vegetable patches. Local residents have shared their thoughts on the new park. Royal Park Primary School was shut down in 2004 and was eventually demolished. The park became open to the public at the beginning of this week. Here's what some of the locals have to say about it.
