This podcast is aimed at college students, particularly those in the area who are directly affected by the issue being discussed. The focus is on informing students about the situation, with a specific emphasis on Wheaton College, a private evangelical Christian liberal arts college in Wheaton, Illinois. The college is located about 30 miles from downtown Chicago, where the issue is prominent. Students at Wheaton College are actively involved in ministry and evangelism, including the Honduras Project, where they go to rural villages in Honduras to install water systems and share their faith. Water holds great significance for these students, as they view it through an evangelical Christian perspective. Dr. Jeffrey Greenberg, a professor at Wheaton, discusses the importance of water within the intersection of geology and Christianity. We wanted to gear this podcast toward college students, specifically college students in the area that might have more of a stake in the matter, and we wanted to focus on informing them about this issue because it is such an important thing that's happening. So we decided to focus on Wheaton College, which is a private evangelical Christian liberal arts college in Wheaton, Illinois, which is on the northwest side of Chicago. It's only about 30 miles away from the heart of the problem in downtown Chicago. Students are active participants in the ministry and evangelism, including the Honduras Project. For each year, a group of students go to different rural villages in the mountains of Honduras to help install a gravity-fed water system and to share their love of Christ incarnationally, according to the website. Water seems to have a large degree of importance to students at Wheaton since they view it through an evangelical Christian lens. Dr. Jeffrey Greenberg is a professor of geology and environmental science at Wheaton and discusses the intersections of geology and Christianity within the importance of water.
