The speaker at the event thanks everyone for attending the Terry's 70th anniversary party. He introduces family members and announces a new baby on the way. He expresses gratitude for the family's support and reminisces about past memories. The speaker also mentions upcoming surgeries and promotions within the community. The event concludes with a prayer for those in need and blessings for all in attendance. Good morning, good morning, everyone. All you've got to do is calm down. You don't have to sit down, but you can calm down and stand up. Stay back there and socialize with a small voice, your inside voice. We'll get started. I hope everybody came out and got some cake. I see you eating it. We should have a lot of donuts left over, but I know how you folks are. You probably ate those first, waiting on the cake to be cut. Had to have you donuts. Donuts go with everything. Even 70th anniversary. Dr. Terry is coming up here to introduce all of his family, people. And you wouldn't want to have a 70th anniversary party without all of us in here, would you? No. I knew you wouldn't. No. You look good, Jack. Pardon? You look good, Jack. Thank you. Thank you all for coming this morning. Kids, come this way. I want to introduce you all. Okay? The children surprised us. They said, Sunday, you just show up. Okay? And Tricia came and robbed our house of all kinds of wedding pictures. And I think they've been displayed at the back. And so I wanted to introduce them to you. This is my son, Doug, and his wife, Leah. Doug and Leah Terry. My daughter, Tricia, and Mark Spriggs. And my grandson, Garrett, and Kayla Spriggs. And the beautiful part about all this is we have a beautiful little piper that lives in Birmingham. And she is now 4 pounds 10 ounces. And Miss Kayla is going to give us a little baby boy in December, maybe. The quiver is not full yet. Just kidding. I want to say... You didn't want to overstep, but we had a little announcement to make. Okay. I'm having a baby. Yeah, you better be. I was getting ready to ask her. I didn't realize her name was Sarah. That was good. Sarah surprised Abraham, too. I want to thank the family for doing this. Kids, thank you so much. This has been magnificent. Thanks for honoring Mom and me. We've had a wonderful time together. Sweethearts, stand up. Here is the bride. Anybody that can put up with me for 70 years has to be an individual, a good individual. And I appreciate it. Thank you all so very much. Would you like to say anything to this crowd? And thank you all for coming. We appreciate it. Please get... Yes, babe. We have more family. We have another grandson that lives in Fayetteville. And we have a granddaughter that's a mother. Okay. Mom is reminding me we have distant grandchildren. We have a grandson, Ryan, who lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas. We have a granddaughter, Haley, and her husband, Zach, that live in Birmingham, Alabama. And is that all? Did I miss anybody else? Panama. Pardon? Panama. Yeah. Jenna and Bill live in Panama City. Panama. They're missionaries in Panama. And so all of them have called their grandmother and me. And all of them have wished us a happy anniversary. So we talked to all the kids, whether here or far. We had an opportunity to talk. Thank you, sweetheart, for reminding me about Ryan and Jenna and also Haley and Zach away. Thank you very much. Appreciate it. Thank you all for coming today. Hope you had an enjoyable time. Enjoy the cake. And we'll listen to Brother Jimmy teach. Thank you all. God bless. Brother Jack, you and Barbara, get the family together back there. We want to take a picture. Is that all right? Doug, you line them up, if you would. They deserve a movie. Get the cake off his face. They deserve a movie. Slow motion video, it would be, wouldn't it? Brother Jack, how come all the pictures back there are black and white? That was the style. That was the style. Oh, yes. Uh-huh. And he says they did one color photo of them, Barbara and Brother Jack, together. Oh, her wedding dress, because they wanted to use the photo to sell more pictures. They sell wedding dresses, too? Is that what they do? Probably. Yeah. That's good. I imagine all your pictures are black and white, too, aren't they, John? I got some black and white ones. Mark, you got some black and white pictures of your family? He had a tough family. You've got to watch him. Appreciate all of y'all being here. If you haven't signed the book, they want to document you being here. So make sure you sign the book and wish them a word. The card's back there if you want to. And I sure appreciate her putting this all together. Brother Jimmy, I called him earlier in the week as soon as we found out we were going to do this. And I said, you're going to have to cut your lesson down. No. He said, no problem. No problem. You take ten pages down to four? No, I'll just stop it for him. He'll just stop it for us is what he said. He teaches next week, too, so he can always catch us up. We appreciate your brother Jimmy helping us with this and appreciate everyone being here. Let's go to the Lord in prayer. Well, let me let them get their picture first right quick. Yes, Omer? That was so difficult to hear that flood victim. Can you imagine camping on the river at 4 or 5 o'clock in the morning and a 26-foot wall of water comes at you? I don't know where I'd go. Probably go downstream. That's just an amazing story down there. I hate it for that camp and the people who were there. We need to remember a number of surgeries upcoming. John Walkinshaw, when he gets back from Alaska, will be having hip surgery or knee surgery? Hip surgery. Hip surgery. And then Andy Biles goes in for his kidney. He's going to take his kidney out. July 29th. July the 19th. 29th. Oh, it did change? 29th. 29th. Okay, it changed. Good. And then I know Cindy was telling us today that she's going to have some surgery done the 21st. So be in prayer for all of those. Yes. Stan promotes to Navy Commander. That's good. He's not in here right now at the moment. And he's got a good woman behind him. He's doing a good job. Appreciate you. Nellie, it's so good to see you here today. Give her a round of applause, y'all. I hope everybody had a blessed fourth, blessed Independence Day. We'll have a prayer and get Brother Jimmy started. Heavenly Father, the concerns today are for people that have lost loved ones, have lost even children in the horrendous floods. We ask that you work in the lives of the family, give them strength. For those that are preparing for surgery, Lord, we also ask for your strength in their regard. Thankful for those that have been able to return for Nellie. Pray for Brother Jack and Barbara. What a wonderful time it is to be with them, to have crossed paths with them, and to have studied under his teaching for so long. Such excellent examples. We're thankful, Lord, for Brother Jimmy today as he teaches. May you give all blessings to us, your children, today as we worship you in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
