This program is sponsored by Kalmar Abbey and Gardens. There are several sporting events happening this weekend, including a Galway United match against Chamberlain over, the Allianz Football League, a boxing event featuring Thomas O'Toole, and the Ireland squad's last game in the Six Nations. The Uachtarair Boxing Club had a successful weekend at the Connacht titles, with boxers Tom McAleer and Luca Keeler performing well. The club is preparing for the All-Ireland competition and has seen a surge in membership since acquiring a new home base. The club is also hosting a cake sale to fundraise for the boxers' expenses. This program is kindly sponsored by Kalmar Abbey and Gardens, 095-52-001. Good evening guys and welcome to Inch Time here on St Patrick's weekend. It is Friday the 15th of March and what a weekend of sport we have in store guys. Where to start guys? There is so much sport on this weekend which is great to see. Close at home guys, less than 45 minutes once again. It is Galway United live on RT. It is 7.45 kick-off in A.M.B.T.C. Park against Premier Division Champions Chamberlain over. So the two champions, First Division Champions, newly promoted Galway United face the Premier Division Champions of the last four years Chamberlain over. So massive game for Galway United but it is live on RT in less than 45 minutes and hopefully Galway United can continue their good start to the season. Two wins, a draw and two losses in their first five games. So it is a big game tonight against the champions Chamberlain over. So we wish Galway United, John Caulfield, Ali Horgan, the rest of the management team and the players all the best luck this evening guys and in other sport Galway play Dublin tomorrow in the Allianz Football League in Pier Stadium and throw in time. It is quarter to three and we will be talking about that later on with Francie Foley. And another game that year is also Tyrone and Monaghan. Mead and Cork, Loud and Fermanagh, Arma and Cavan, Kildare and Dordogal. So there is plenty of action in the Allianz Football League as well so it is great to see the champions and the All-Ireland champions, Dublin arriving in Pier Stadium on Saturday with a throw in at quarter to three. And obviously guys it is a massive weekend in the boxing and in the ring. So you have the homecoming of Thomas O'Toole, the Cunnamara Boston Pro Boxer. Thomas O'Toole, Thomas the Kid O'Toole is his middle name in the boxing terms. So he is fighting his first home fight in Galway in Salt Hill, later on in Salt Hill, Saturday night along with a couple of very big boxers as well, Luke Keeler along with Cullum Murphy as well. So there are seven fights indeed being ahead as well which is great to see. So it is good to see Thomas O'Toole coming back into his homeland in Galway and he has eight professional fights and eight wins so hopefully he can make nine wins as well. And then obviously Andy Farrell and the Ireland squad have their last game to finish the Six Nations in a very strong position as well. So plenty of action. And then obviously locally wise, tomorrow West Coast United have a massive game in the Seniors. They have Mirvue United in Claddagh Duff at 1pm as well. So plenty of underage action as well which is so much going on this weekend which is great to see. Hopefully the weather can stay dry. It has been a nice Friday afternoon here. The evening so far has been fairly good. So long may it continue and if it can stay dry for the parade it would be great to see it. We have a packed show here guys. So we are going to go straight into the ring for round one. Round one is with Sean Clancy of Uachtarair Boxing Club. Plenty of action in locally with the Uachtarair Boxing Club. They have been very very successful in the title in Roscommon. And no better man than to talk about it is Sean Clancy from Uachtarair Boxing Club. Good evening Sean, how are we keeping? Good evening, yourself? Not too bad at all. I was keeping an eye on the results there with the Connacht titles up in Roscommon and you have to say it was a good weekend there. It was absolutely massive. I suppose we had two boxers before Cashby, Tom McAleer and Luca Keogh boxing in his final. For anyone that doesn't know the age limit, that's about 14 year old Cashby. Fortunately, Luca in his final is a very good opponent. Tom McAleer then had an impressive semi-final when the Connachts defeated a former All-Ireland champion, which he defeated last year by the way, to qualify for the All-Ireland. So he's waiting for his All-Ireland which is coming on the Good Friday. Hopefully if he's successful on Good Friday he'll be boxing on Easter Saturday and that's in the National Stadium in Dublin. We're getting him ready at the moment. He's had a bit of a wait because their finals were on earlier and that competition should have been completed two weeks ago. The squad of boxers were held in Capitol Re and the competition was put on hold and it's being scheduled now for Peter Lee, James McAuley, Finn McLinton, Dylan Clancy and Pete McAuley and Noah Guthrie getting ready for their All-Ireland Easter week. So they're the Sun Boys, one who's in threes, so 11, 12 and 13 year olds and they've boxed throughout Easter week. It starts on the Thursday and it's successful to get to the finals on the Saturday and we did enjoy it. It was beaten as well in the finals but that's a Sun that was obviously perfect. A big final boxing and to have five winners on the day was absolutely fantastic and it was the manner of their wins as well. They were up against very good boxers. They boxed confidently at Brad's, they boxed so strong and I think a lot of the coaches commented afterwards that there was a little bit of fitness which was impressive as much as that. Yeah, we're delighted. There's a great team in the club now, getting them prepared for the All-Ireland and we've had some good sparring with us as well over the last couple of weeks. That's the difficult thing, there's a bit of a wait, there's nearly a week wait between when the Connacht finals and the All-Ireland and I suppose to get onto the mindset that they've a Connacht win and the job is done, it's not done. It's only starting really but after the finals we're going to give them a week, not a week off, but just a relaxed week. We're building them up again, getting them ready for competition and making sure that they're focused. It's a tough time for them because Patrick McGinn has come up and we know that it's easy with all the goodies that are going on and being out on a day out to forget your health and to break from your darkness if you're watched way too often. They have to keep an eye on that as well but don't worry, we give them plenty of reminders and the club is just about keeping things clean and that's what it's all about. It's all going well. It's great to see you and obviously the last time we were talking you've finally got a home base as well beside the Welby's garage there and it seems to be really working well. It's central to the town and the community got behind it. It's really community-based and where we are now, like people can see us, we're right at the heart of the town. It's a great building and it's just numbers-wise it's meant the club has exploded for you. The club has never had a membership like this in the history of the club. We've over 80 kids now in the club. We probably have 45 adults. We do fitness classes for adults as well. It's to cover costs, to pay for fees, to pay for electricity. We're all volunteers in the club, coaches. As well as training the kids, we put in extra hours in training adults for fitness to pay for the overheads. It's keeping us busy. It's a good busy and it's amazing. There's nights where we're training and people just walk by and they come in and say, oh I've eaten kid here or do you have classes? It's because of where we are. We're clean now from where we were before. We might have been passing in other buildings where they were not off-beat in fact. It's worked out well for us there and it's a good settlement. I think the most that we have is what we have to do in the box of course. It's great to see it and obviously this weekend you have a big cake sale as you mentioned. There are seven boxes heading to reach the finals and that will be a big fundraiser for them just to take the pressure off them and looking forward to that challenge ahead. Can you tell us more about the cake sale this weekend? There's a cake sale in the club between 2pm-4pm on St Paddy's Day. There's actually a parade in the village so it's around the same time as the parade. The club funds and pays for all our boxes accommodation and their travel expenses and their food for the week. We're staying for five days. The room alone, we booked two rooms for £2,500. Last year we brought to Dublin a cost of £3,500-4,000 for just one week for six boxes. People say it's a great holiday for four and a half thousand people in Florida. It's the hotels of course and we just fundraise to ensure that we keep the club fun and cover the cost. We had two very successful car drives there earlier this year as well which was greatly supported. The support doesn't come from Farrard on its own. A wider Connemara community would be involved in the car drive and come from Lecture Moore, Clifford, Rindvale, Valley Keneally, Enfron. A wide range of people from around Connemara would support the car drive. We're delighted with that support and it just helps with the running of the club. It's all part of the business as well. Well that's exactly it and hopefully it'll be well supported and obviously with people being around after the parade, no doubt it will be. It's great to see the club going so strong and even for them seven boxers going to the All-Irelands, it's great for them. But even the people that haven't reached the finals or even the younger generation that are looking up at them that they want to be there. There is a bit of passion there and even from the younger crowd, the younger boxers, they want to be there in a few years time reaching the All-Ireland finals as well. They want to be looking up in front of you, looking like Iain Molloy, a local boxing professional as well. It's great to see a role model like him but then from the younger boxers, they want to be them seven boxers going to the All-Ireland finals. Yeah exactly and I'll tell you, out of that seven, six of them opened Dublin last year and two of them got to the All-Ireland finals. Although they're only 12 and 13, they have the experience of getting to the All-Irelands and what it's about. We're using that experience with them to say, you got there last year, you got to see what it's about, you know what it is. But they have to walk their way throughout the week. They have to get up early in the morning. The women's are between eight and nine in the morning if they're boxing. They have to be boxing until five o'clock that evening. So it's about a dress for a teenager to drop in the stairs. You need to stay calm for the day until you get into the ring box and you're right. The other boxers that are there, we've great novice competitions now in the All-Week League. It's run over a six-week period where boxers that are just starting out in the sport get an opportunity to box and spar. You're on the same level that would have started at the same time. So years ago when I was boxing, it was only championships. You either entered the championships or you didn't. And if you started boxing at 13 on the back foot because you meet somebody that started boxing at 10, that's the championships. The same age, the same weight, in you go. And you'd know the difference in experience then. But now we've developed this league in Galway. It means boxers don't have the level of experience to get in and box. Children, same level of experience with them. I know there's a novice competition coming up. The date times will be decided by next Friday. Again, a kind of end-of-year competition for all the boxers at the same level of experience get in and get to box. So all my novices will be asking in January, when's it coming up? I'm like, when's it coming up? It keeps them going because a lot of our focus is on the guys going to the All-Irelands. And naturally, kids understand that. We've told them because the novice competition is coming up. So we will be putting our energy into you once we get these guys across the line to the All-Irelands. And it's kept them motivated in relation to training. It's hard to train if you've not got something coming up. But every night I go down to the club, they just say, is it a date yet? I'm like, yeah, it's coming up, coming up. So yeah, very soon. Well, I'm just bringing that little kind of scenario into Ciarán Molloy's venture at the minute. He's left the Connolly management team due to the lack of fights. And when you mentioned this a few minutes ago, it's hard to motivate these young players while there's a gap between fights and all that. And it's probably a big year for Ciarán Molloy now, which obviously he's gone professional, he's unbeaten. And probably his lack of fights, he was kind of saying that, the lack of promises and the hold off from the Connolly management team. It's going to be a big year, but I think he has something in the pipeline as of now. I think he's going to announce it in the next week or two that his new management team, it will be a title international fighting belt on the line, is what he was saying. So there's plenty to look forward to on the Ciarán Molloy efforts as well. And in fact, John, so he's based in the UK, he's trained over there and twice, I suppose, he's been inactive in the ring. And despite not having a fight, he stays totally focused. And hats off to him. It's very easy to stay and get despondent about the whole thing and say, what the hell with this, I'm coming home. And I can train at home until I hear something comes up. That's not his mentality. He's absolutely focused on training and staying fit and prepared. He announced a couple of weeks ago that he was packing away with the condiments and due to inactivity. And I suppose he's hitting on 56 now, so it's important that he's out. And that's what it's about. When you start off professionally, it's about the numbers. It's about getting into the ring and getting involved. You can be hitting 14 or 14 fights pretty early in your career. So that you then work on your rankings. Then out of your rankings, you can work on getting into title fights. So in fairness to Ciarán, Ciarán was at a level when he went professional that were a lot higher than a lot of boxers. And look at the professional game around him. And boxers firing, box width and box around in a different way. And I suppose how their paths have been pushed on. And where his path was kind of at a standstill and nowhere. And Ciarán being at a level higher than some of the boxers. I think that's a frustrating thing for him. But I'm delighted that he's been able to get a new promoter. And as you said, there'll be announcements in the next week and so in relation to his next fight coming up. And hopefully, hopefully to include him in the big show and go great. Because it'd be great to see him back in. A fight I was actually, his fight in Galway, which is nearly coming up on a year now. I think it was May or June. So yeah, it'd be good to see him out again and fight just for himself personally. And an active again in the ring. And those important fights. And that's the key thing. Needs better competition. Needs better opposition than they were able to secure for him. So look at all parts of the sport. It's all parts of the brand. I mean, I don't see what's wrong with London. I'm sure he would have known personally. Would have hoped for things to win better. But you know, that's fine. That's what you have to say. It's not working for him. And it's hard to wait. So yeah, hopefully we'll see announcements coming up soon. Please God, I hope he'll get more, plenty of fights in the ring. And as you mentioned, a year ago since the fight in Galway, this weekend is a big weekend. There is a few big fights in Salton, in Legerland, kicking off tomorrow. There's a few big names. Thomas O'Toole, he's a Connemara man and he's based in Boston. And he's going to be fighting for his ninth fight and he's unbeaten at the minute. But then there is a few big names out there. There's a Dublin native there that will be in action as well. Colin Murray, Murphy, my apologies. There's a good little experience and I think Luke is there as well. So there's a bit of good talent there. I think Luke Keeler, I think his name is. So he's coming back out at year 12. So there's plenty of fights this weekend. I'm looking around for Thomas O'Toole. Because again, Thomas has been putting in hard work in relation to boxing. And how he pushed himself on, I suppose, goes back to when he was in the elite at that time. And how he developed himself as a boxer. Thomas, as a younger boxer, because I remember when he won and coming up to the eight groups, always relied on his popper in relation to his boxing. Around the time he won't be elite, he went to Celtics, Eagles, where pop go up. And he developed his skills. He just sharpened his skills. I suppose, as you get older and stronger, you realise, well, my equals are up there in relation to power. And you can't just depend on your power to win. And he developed his skills as well and just make himself sharper. So look at Thomas, kind of clocks out of a brick a lot and made a name for himself in Boston. He's a big follow-up to Boston, but he's a big follow-up to Galway too. So I'm absolutely delighted he's heading out here in the Netherlands. And the guy in Boston, he's had a fight. He's had 16 wins himself, or 16 bouts of seven wins by knockout. And he's had a mate, he's had a next career, but he's very experienced. So he's had a bit of fortune out of himself. You see on his laps, he might leave himself open to a head punch. And if he does, he's getting in against a guy that can absolutely deliver that. And it's a big thing. Nobody can beat Boxing in your whole venue. Even Kieran or Thomas, no matter what you've won, most of their accolades came from either boxing in Dublin or boxing abroad. You get very few opportunities, especially in the pro game, to box on your home field. And when I say home field, I mean Galway. Kieran got plenty of opportunities to box in Belfast, but he only had one opportunity to box in Galway. Thomas Latour is the same. Thomas has based himself in Boston. So to come back home and to be able to box in Galway is a fantastic opportunity for Thomas. And no doubt, he's in the fight tonight. But it's fantastic for him and his family. And he's very supportive of us. It's not anything they can afford to travel either to the UK, to Belfast or to Boston to go and see these guys box. But when you get the opportunity to see them at home, it's absolutely fantastic. And it's just a pity Galway doesn't have an indoor venue that can hold 3 or 4,000. No, because again, it's a costly game on a show in any sport, but particularly in boxing. And the thing that covers the cost is funds on seats. And I think that's between £1,000 and £1,200. You consider every boxer has to get paid. And if the water has to refuel up, it's just a shame. And we see Cardiff Barrowhose, Big Fight, Paddy's Day, Ray Milo here, and the same thing can hold 4,000 people. It's just Galway, a town that prides itself on arts, culture and sport. There isn't an indoor venue that can hold 3 or 4,000 people, just for sport, for conferences and everything. It's great that we have ledger art. And in fairness to them, our feedback up here at the site was pretty good. It's more. And it's good to see they're doing this. You know, there's a slight couple of years ahead with Proctor Tools and Pierre Mullion, also another youngster there in Galway, Jason Meyer too, who made his pro debut up in Calgary. So there's a couple of pros coming through and there will be more for Galway. And just to have a venue that's worthy of the crowd, there must be bigger numbers. But yeah, it should be a good show tonight. I'm wishing all the boxers there the boxing on us. Let's have a look. I'm looking forward to it as well. And it's great to see boxing in Galway and it's great to see boxing going so well in Galway and in Ireland, you know, and long may it continue. And hopefully you'll have a very successful cake sale on St Patrick's Day from two to four guys. If you're a passenger who are looking to support the boxing club, it definitely will work to stick a few pounds in, as you've seen Sean, or have you heard Sean just there, the cost of bringing the old boxers around the country and to Roscommon there for the titles and obviously up to Dublin for the All-Ireland titles as well. So it's a big money involved in it as well. And it's just to help him and help the club in any way as possible would be great. Sean, it was an absolute pleasure having you on and hopefully we'll chat you down the line again. Perfect. Thanks again, Damien. I appreciate you giving me the opportunity to give you an update on boxing between amateur and professional. You know, it's a busy time, but it's great to see boxing do so well. So thanks again for the opportunity to highlight, I suppose, all the good that's going on in the sport. Sean, thanks a million. Now that was Sean Clancy from Uachtarar boxing club. And if you are available on Sunday, they have a cake sale in aid of the seven boxers attending and reaching the All-Ireland finals. We wish all seven boxers all the best in Dublin in a few weeks time. I think there's plenty of training ahead with them as well. So we wish them all the best of luck. So from Saturday, guys, two to four in the Uachtarar boxing club, it is a cake sale. So if anyone out there that is gifted in cooking or baking, feel free. I'm sure you can donate as much cake and buns as possible anyway and all the good work, so to say. So hopefully people out there, our listeners can support Uachtarar boxing club on behalf of the seven boxers that are reaching the All-Ireland finals. We wish them all the best, guys, and we wish Ciarán Malloy in his new adventure with his new management team all the best as well. And also Thomas the Kid O'Toole, all the best tomorrow evening in his homecoming fight. Hopefully he can make a nine wins out of nine in his professional career. And this is a little clip from Thomas O'Toole for his Connemara, Boston professional boxer. A little clip here, it'll kind of get you going as well, get you in the mood for his fight for tomorrow night. We'll have a couple of ads and we'll be back very shortly after this. You're sitting there and you're thinking about the battle that lies ahead, what might happen during the fight, thinking about all the possible outcomes, going over the game plan in my head. I'm trying to be sharp, fast, strong, thinking about the amazing opportunity you have to showcase your skills to the world. Then pressure builds. During the fight, it's all about being relaxed, sticking to the game plan. So even after victory, you still think about all the things you could have done differently. And you think about the next step. Job spots on Connemara Community Radio. Connemara Golf Links is looking for a commie chef and a kitchen porter for their stunning and highly rated venue. Now guys, welcome back and it's a switching over to the GAA and a massive doubleheader for Galway as both teams are at home. The footballers are home to Dublin and the hurlers are at home to Limerick. Both in Pear Stadium, the hurlers throw in at quarter past one and the footballers throw in at quarter past three and no better gentleman to talk about GAA is Mr Fancy Foley. How are we getting on? Yeah man, how are you? Nice to hear you. How are you? I'd say just have plenty of action this weekend on St Patrick's weekend and I'm sure you'll have the shamrock and then you'll be wearing the green on St Patrick's Day. Well, if I can't get a shamrock, I'll put up a bit of lettuce. Some of them won't even know the difference. Anyway, looking forward to it, but the weather forecast is not too bad, but hopefully it'll be a special day for us and we'll enjoy it the best we can. Well, that's exactly it and both games are on Saturday. Obviously, there's plenty of football action and you can take us through the football action with a few of the games. Yeah, well, the doubleheader is on. We have Dublin and the stadium on this weekend and we have Limerick in the hurling. I think it's Saturday now. I can be optimistic and I can be pessimistic, but I'm afraid it's a double whammy for us because the way Dublin are playing at the moment and goal have been so short of the regular players. I can only see, unfortunately, a Dublin win and even if Dublin bring out half a team, I can only see still a Dublin win. We have two games, Kerry at the last one then, but Dublin, it's a pity that it has to be Dublin because maybe if it were other than Kerry, we might have a hope of getting a couple of points. No redemption there, Jamie. I'm sorry to say in the football against Dublin, the way they're playing at the moment and I expect them to be in the league finals. No optimism as regards the hurling either because I would be a little optimistic had Galway had a full hurling team, but anyway, they haven't. I tipped them a long time ago to win the All-Ireland and I'm still sticking to that and I don't think they'll have too much trouble in the league, particularly against Galway. Galway, they might play well, but if they keep them to a five or six point margin, I'd be happy enough. Now, that's the football. Then the other teams for the weekend there, Galway, that's dealt with. Then we have Roscommon. Mayo and Varey is next up the list there. I think Tatton Castle there, but I can only see that going one way as well. It may be close, probably will be close. Mayo, they're not firing on all cylinders at the moment, but it won't be good enough to beat Derry whether it's in Casabar or whether it's in Derry. So, Derry for that one for me. And then Roscommon and Kerry. Now, I have a special interest in that particular one as well because Roscommon, if Kerry Beef was coming, as I hope they do for Galway's sake, then they're still under three points. So, anyway, I'm not sure where the venue is, but regardless of that, I can't see Kerry winning that one. Yeah, Roscommon is at home. It's Dr. Hyde Park, it is at quarter to two, it is. I still hope, for Galway's sake, that Kerry will take that one. It won't be a walkover, anything like that, the way I look at it. It'll be a close contest and I think Kerry will win it and I hope they do to enable Galway to get advantage from it. So, then you have Tyrone and Manning. Another one I have a particular keen interest in because Manning are down at the bottom and they're two points, as far as I know. Roscommon is three points and we're five points. So, Tyrone could do us a favour by beating Manning. Manning were poor enough last week, even though Galway beat them well, but they were short quite a few regular players. But I can see Tyrone winning that one and I hope they do. So, at least that'll be another night we'll be able to sleep without worrying about going down to Division Two. So, anyway, Tyrone for that one, for me, and I think they'll win it comfortably enough, maybe by five or six points regardless of where it's played. So, anyway, a very interesting weekend for us, gaming, outside our own involvement. Well, that's exactly it and I'll see the Galway, the two home games as a highlight. But then, you know, Tyrone and Manning, up the north, you know, it's a fairly good... It might be a low-scoring game, but it could be an entertaining game as well. Absolutely, yeah. That's the way I read it, anyway. As I said, for Galway's sake, if Roscommon lose, as I expect they will, and if Manning lose, as I expect they will, it'll be a bonus for Galway because, as I said without repeating myself, no way are we going to get Anthony against Dublin. Well, that's exactly it and even looking at the Hurling, outside of the Galway game, they seem to be all straightforward games, bar maybe one game, Waterford are at home to kill Kenny, that could be a decent game, not fleeing clear. They'd be the only kind of two outside of the... Well, Wexford and Cork could be a decent game. There'll be four decent Hurling games, really, but the other ones are straightforward. Dublin and Westmeath, Dublin should beat Westmeath there, Tipperary should hammer Antrim, you know, but it'll be... The Galway-Limerick way is obviously to stand out for the weekend. Yeah, well, I watched the games last week now, the Hurling games, and I particularly enjoyed the Wexford and Waterford one. Actually, I thought it was a great game of Hurling and we know the ways it went, but the guys at the top are always talking about, you know, promoting teams, encouraging coaches to get promotion in the Hurling, but as far as I'm concerned anyway, it's not happening because Westmeath were there and they were humiliated, Antrim were humiliated and are fleeing and not reaching the peak that they should. So, something has to be done. I don't know, they're talking about doing things, but it's the same old thing. Teams, and it's great for teams to get promotion, it's a play with the big fellas, but I said it without repeating it many, many times. Teams would be better off in their own division and the lower division to be winning medals and winning cups, and the thing is, that's the system that should be worked on rather than getting the weaker counties to, to be up there with the big hitters. It's not happening and it won't happen until there's an even playing field. 100% agree with you there and hopefully the top heads from the GAA are listening to our show and hopefully they can put it right, but unfortunately, as you say, frankly, it's a double whammer for Galway. You're going to think they're going to lose both codes, but hopefully you're wrong this weekend, but it'll be a tough weekend for both Galway hurlers and footballers. Obviously, it's going to be a double header at home. The only highlight is the home advantage. Obviously, Galway hurlers have a few injuries and then Galway football, they're doing okay, but they go out to Dublin, they're hitting a bit of form at the minute now, so it's going to be two very tough games. Will you be watching both games, I'm sure, over the weekend? Well, naturally enough, I want Galway to get a point or even two points or one point from Dublin. As I said, it won't happen, but to watch Dublin up to now, they're actually a delight to watch, the way they're playing the game. They're hitting form at the right time and two or three more to come back. So I can't, as I said, I can only see the one prediction that I gave, but I'll go to the match and I'll enjoy it. And even if it's only to watch Dublin, even beating Galway, unfortunately, but even to watch them and the way they're playing football, it'll be money well spent, as far as I'm concerned. Well, that's exactly it. Francie, it was absolutely a pleasure having you on. Thank you so much and really hope you enjoy the game and enjoy St Patrick's weekend and we'll have you on, hopefully, eating your words when Galway and Boulton both match us, you know? Well, I don't mind eating them and even if they make me sick, Damien, I hope I'm wrong, but I think I'm out a bit long now to say only what I feel, so that's it. Well, that's exactly it. Thank you so much and have a lovely weekend. My young fella said to say, when Damien comes on, to say congrats on your new promotion. Thank you. Bye Damien. Bye my friend. Bye. Thank you so much. Have a nice St Patrick's day and make sure all the Guinness is green in Lowry's, okay? I'll make sure of it, I'll make sure of it. Okay, Damien. Bye. Bye. Bye-bye. Now, welcome back, guys. A big thank you, once again, to Francis Holder there, talking to the audience today and hopefully the both goalie teams can come out with a big win and please, God, they can get a result tomorrow afternoon. Unfortunately, guys, that is the end of the show for me, guys. A big thank you to Sean Clancy from Udgar Ironbox Club and once again, guys, from 2 to 4 on St Patrick's Day in the Udgar Ironbox Club, they're having their cake sale in support of their seven boxers heading to the All-Ireland Finals in Dublin. So, we want to wish them all the best of luck as well and hopefully they can get their results in a few weeks' time. So, guys, we hope you enjoyed it. It is nearly 15 minutes gone in the game, so I'll be hopefully getting the game on RT after this, so I'll have a chill relaxing evening, putting the feet up, watching the game. Hopefully, they can come back with it. Hopefully, they can get three points tonight. So, we want to wish Sean Caulfield, Ali Horgan and all the rest of the team the best of luck this evening and hopefully they can get a decent result tonight. It'll be a tough game tonight, but hopefully they can come out with the three points, you know. So, that's it for me, guys. I'm going to leave you with a couple of tunes and we'll see you and have a good St Patrick's weekend. Thank God, I really enjoyed it. Enjoy the parade. Don't forget the parade on Sunday afternoon in Clifton. I think there's one in Clarendon as well. So, plenty of parades to choose from. Please God, the weather stays dry. Best of luck to Ireland Rugby in the Six Nations as well and to both Galway teams in the hurling and the football. So, that's it for me, guys. Have a fabulous St Patrick's weekend. Be safe out there. Be safe on the roads if you're travelling from near and far. Just be safe, but most importantly, enjoy it and cheerio. Happy St Patrick's Day, guys. Thank you. See, I made so neat about the soul As I came back through Dublin city at the time of half-past eight Who should they see but the Spanish lady brushing her hair so trim and neat First she teased it then she brushed it on her lap was a silver comb In all me life I ne'er did see so fair a make inside it roam As I went round old Dublin city when the sun began to set Who should they meet but the Spanish lady catching a moth in the golden net When she spied me quick she fled me lifting her petticoat over the knee In all me life I ne'er did see a make so gay as the Spanish lady Whack for the to-ro-ro-ro-ro-lady Whack for the to-ro-ro-ro-ro-lay I stopped to look at the watchman past Does he, young fellow, know the night is late Along with you now or I will rest with you straightway through the bridewell gate I threw a kiss to the Spanish lady hot as a fire of angry coal In all me life I ne'er did see a make so sweet about the soul Whack for the to-ro-ro-ro-ro-lady Whack for the to-ro-ro-ro-lay As I went out through Dublin city as the hour of dawn was o'er Who should they see but the Spanish lady I was lonely and foot sore First she coaxed me, then she chid me, then she laughed at my sad plight In all me time I ne'er did see a make so sweet as on that night Whack for the to-ro-ro-ro-lady Whack for the to-ro-ro-ro-lay I've wandered north and I've wandered south Through stony batter and Patrick's close Up and around by the Gloucester diamond And round by knapper Tandy's house Old age has laid her hand on me Cold as a fire of ashy coal But where is the lovely Spanish lady Neat and sweet about the soul Whack for the to-ro-ro-ro-lady Whack for the to-ro-ro-ro-lay What did I have to satisfy the old woman What did I have to satisfy the old woman What did I have to dispout the old woman say I had four great fears Each one was a jewel But strangers they came And tried to take them from me I had four years from now They fought to save my jewels They fought and they died And that was my quicksand sheet Long time ago And that was my quicksand sheet Long time ago Dispout the old woman's day There was war and death Flatten the wing and winch As my children they danced My country's body is at sea And the faving cries It shook the very heavens And my soul revealed Round the band with their plucked sensational Long time I have now Satisfied the old woman Long time I have now Dispout the old woman's day I had four great fears One of them symbolized Strangers come They tried to take them from me But my sons, they have done I pray but where are the fathers And my first great fear Where blue once again then sheen And my first great fear Where blue once again then sheen Good night, Sandy, beforehand. Fabulous singer. Honey, sweetie, good night, hon. Go on, honey. There you go. Thank you. Thank you.
