In our utopia, education is highly valued and everyone is considered an intellectual. Gender doesn't determine one's role in society, and marriages are based on love and nuclear families. Families are limited to having three children to prevent overpopulation. A board of five members is voted in to regulate activities and enforce laws. The voting age is 18, and the council is responsible for making decisions on punishments. Serious criminals are asked to leave the community and face trial by the federal government. Our society highly values the privilege of education. Everyone is an intellectual in our society. Children spend time going to school and are taught by enthusiastic teachers who are fulfilled through their job. Citizens go to school through the college level. In our utopia, gender does not determine your role in society. Everyone is on an equal playing field and no one is looked at differently. Gender neither determines nor prevents any path in your future. Unlike Plato's Republic, our utopia has marriages based off of love and nuclear family. There are no communal families, meaning each child has designated parents. However, to prevent overpopulation while also fulfilling the replacement rate, we limit families to having no more than three children. To run our utopia, there will be a board with members who are voted in. They regulate activities to keep people accountable to our laws. There are five board members, each with a five-year term. Every year, there is an election held for one board position with the winning candidate being the person who received the majority of votes from our community. The voting age in our utopia is 18. The responsibilities of a council include being presented facts of cases and making a consensus decision on punishment and consequences. Those who commit serious crimes are asked to leave our community. They will be dismissed and turned into the authority of the state in order to be tried by the federal government.
