Daisy Elizabeth Adams Lampkin was an American suffragist, civil rights activist, and community organizer. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, she relocated to Pittsburgh in 1909 and became a prominent leader in the fight for women's suffrage and racial equality. As president of the Lucy Stone Woman Suffrage League in 1915, she worked to secure voting rights for Black women. After the passage of women’s suffrage, she continued her activism in civil rights organizations.
