The group of gamers is recapping their previous adventures in a game called For the Traitor. Wyatt has muted his microphone, causing confusion. They found a squirrel named Sammy who was hopped up on an energy drink. They discovered a tunnel and a path to the Beast of Great Intelligence. The bear turned out to be a druid. Serafina heard crying in the caves. Idaho had a vision and received a fire sprite. Serafina also had a vision at a fancy hotel. The group discusses their visions and the potential danger of a woman in the forest. Mordred had a vision of everyone dead, but the woman in his vision saved him. Sounds good. Wyatt, would you like to take us away with a recap? Welcome back, gamers, to another episode of For the Traitor. You're muted, bud. Oh, really? That's crazy, Wyatt. Wyatt has muted his microphone so that none of us know what he's saying. Crazy, it's like his audacity will pick up on it. Dear listeners, Wyatt has muted his microphone so we're all very confused. I thought you guys were reacting to it like that. You're like, man, I'm killing right now. I am recapping so well. Let me start over. Please. What's up, gamers? Welcome to our episode of For the Trees. Last episode, you know, we put our game faces on. We went exploring, looking for our good friend, Serafina. The mountain collapsed, and we found a squirrel. This squirrel is named Sammy, and let me tell you, Sammy had his G-Fuel today. He was hopped up, ready to go. You can't start mentioning G-Fuel until they sponsor us. That's a joke. I actually can't make that joke, so let me take that one back. G-Fuel, or alternative energy drink. Just say, or Gamer Supps, and then put that in there. Or the other one, and then add it in after. Sammy the squirrel, we met him. He was hopped up on an energy gamer supplement that could be you, dear sponsor. And he was raring to go and help us explore these caverns to find Serafina. And he got this from Idaho, me. You can lay on hands with him, which is apparently a very powerful squirrel drug. We found a tunnel in the back of the mountain, and we found a path in, as well as a path upstream to the Great Intelligence. Is it Great Intelligence? The Beast of Great Intelligence. The Beast of Great Intelligence. Which is a giant bear with many people in sleeping bags all around them, including Serafina. And by people, let's clarify, animals. Exclusively. Animals are people. Well, Chris, we'll be reviewing this later. This is definitely better. Alright, keep going. Mordred woke up the bear, and the bear talked to Mordred secretly, and it's revealed that this bear is in fact the crazy druid from earlier in the show. We all have a great night's sleep, except for Sera, who hears phantom noises crying in the caves. The next morning, we go wandering the forest, and Idaho is found to have been telling a little fib, and he in fact has a little fire sprite in his bag. Everyone strips nude, and Idaho admits that he had another vision, alongside everyone else's, back when we pulled the time lever in Episode 1. And Christian made some questionable comments about the feats of certain races. That wasn't the start of a session. Was it feats or buddies? Yes, I did. Um, feats. It was, it was plural. Um, yeah, and that's what you missed on. Glee! Uh, sorry, that's the one that stayed in my head. That's a lot of a one. Uh, so, Alan is on, double-checking that Alan is here. Sam, we lost you for a second, I'm double-checking that you're good. I'm good. Okay, got caught up with Wyatt, that's fair. No, my computer's still doing its goddamn best. That's what it is. That's fair. So that's where we left you guys. Uh, Doran was pissed, uh, but had a dagger, and was also pissed about that. Uh, Idaho and Serafina got into a bit of a tissy. That can't be the right word. What is, what does that stand for, Christian? Yeah. Tizzy? Tuck it under? Side? I feel like it's a combo of tizzy and tussle. Not what I was thinking. That's it, a tizzy. A tree pussy. I mean, hey, we said that. A tree pussy. I mean, hey, we said beautiful. Okay. Okay, we'll cut that. My tizzy is really, uh. Tizzy poppin'. I was hitting O's all night. Okay. Alright, so, with the podcast. You guys have just gotten into these kerfuffles with each other, when, nothing. It's daytime. It's beautiful out here. The sun is shining. There's the ruins of what used to be a big mountain next to you. Surrounding you, the landscape's covered in rocks. But you four are here, and all probably looking slightly different ways from each other, not wanting to talk. Or is that true? We also left off with Idaho saying they had another vision, and I was, I think that was to me. And then I was like, I haven't had a vision. And then everybody went, well, that's great for you. That's exactly where we left off, by the way. That was, okay, that was exactly where we left off. And we take a... There. I'm sorry, Serafina. Are you going to tell us about your vision? Maybe you'll have a... Oh, me? Alright. Yeah, you. Who else? I, well, maybe Serafina. Uh... I don't have any visions, I just said that. I mean, I was... We're really avoiding this right now. No, I'm not, I'm not trying to, no. It's okay if you don't feel like sharing. I don't... Okay, I went, I went to a really nice hotel. And it was lush and good, and very, very fancy. And there was a man there who gave me this fire sprite. And... What? He just gave it to you? Yeah. What did he look like? Why'd he give it to you? Oh, um, I don't know. Why else do people give people fire sprites, you know? You want to give them a fire, you want to keep them warm, you want to, like, maybe burn down a cage or something like that. I don't know. Lots of possible reasons. Any cage in particular? I mean, yeah, that sounds obvious. No, it was just an example. I mean, I don't know why you're getting hung up on this. How are you guys feeling today? Did you guys need any, um... Hold on, hold on, hold on. Let's answer first Serafina's question. What did this guy look like? Uh... He kind of looked like how I imagined, um, my dad would look in really old age. And when he gave you the fire sprite, uh, you just, like, took it? Did he say anything? Did he just extend his arm out and there he was? Well, he gave it to me and was like, here, take care of this, uh, take care of this fire sprite. And, um, you know, uh, you know, feed it every day. Take good care of it. And, you know, if you happen to see a cage, you can, you know, do stuff you can do with fire stuff for it. Do you know what I'm saying? No, that's very confusing. Great. Um, I messaged you Christian something on Discord, by the way. Thank you for letting me know. I have OBS recording, so I have this full screen, so I don't always see that. Um, um... Just want to clarify something really quick. Yes, uh, let me, let me answer you in response. Uh, because this impacts my, how I answer these questions. But I just want to clarify the situation so far. You arrive at a fancy inn, hotel, whatever you call it. Strange man gives you a fire sprite because he wants to help you stay warm. Am I fully understanding your story so far? For no reason. Uh, not related to any kind of cage. And he also kind of looks like your father. And that's another point, and also he looks like your dad. This is weird, man. And, like, I get it. Like, when I went through my vision, um, I came out with a fancy dagger, you came out with a fire sprite. But, you know, we all come out of different things. Well, no! It's not, though. It's fundamentally not. Uh, Christian, can I bring a saving throw here? Yeah, uh, I'm with that. Uh, what? Do you think it should be intelligent? Knowing the context of this? What are you trying to avoid doing? I think you know what you're trying to avoid doing, and I think you know what the saving throw is. And if you're unsure, it's intelligent. Yeah, I kind of think so. Yeah, it truly is. Alright. 2 for minus 1. 2 for minus 1, too intelligent. That's a decent score, but not all that good. But it has a 13. I think Ida was going to say, listen, he said a lot of things that really rattled me. Um, about, like, time and the forest and fire and stuff. But, he told me that there is someone in this forest that's real bad. Real, real bad. And there is, um, this fire might be usable against her. Her? Did he give you a name, description at all? She wouldn't happen to be in a cage, would she? I think that's what... It does seem like she's perhaps caged here. Oh, is he going to release... I don't think he wants to release her. Or just burn her alive inside the cage. A plan? So part of why I didn't really want to talk to this is Idaho's... Sorry, Ida, fuck. Ida, fuck. Ida, fuck. Wait, sit down back. Part of why I didn't really want to talk about this is Mordred's vision also had fire in a woman. Um, and it was deeply unsettling to me. Yeah, but... I think my understanding of what this woman is, is that she is perhaps like a very, very more ancient, powerful version of the Golden Finger that we took. In that it's someone who has perhaps the power to control us, write our futures for us, take away any freedom of choice in the world kind of situation. Do you think she gave you a present? You guys had such cool visions. My only vision was my own fucking corpse. I mean, but the woman that I saw ended up getting me out of it. She didn't seem... Maybe it's a different woman. Wait. Yeah. Got you out of what? Because my woman that I was told about was not good. And your woman seems very good. Yeah. Um, I mean, she got me out of the vision and I took her hand and, uh, you know, when I took her hand I stopped seeing everybody be dead. So, that's gonna be at least kind of good in my book. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Everybody? Like... Uh, well we were... Like Matthew? Yeah. And I, my face was burnt off and... Christian, am I correct? Mordred. Oh, thank you. Do you want to give me a history check? Yep. I would love to give you a history check. I just have to find my character on my character. Even, even anything higher than a box, there's a limit, there's a basic amount of information that you will guarantee... Eleven. Okay. You think back to the vision and you remember all three of your friends dead. Yes. You, with an eleven above a ten, you recognize a couple... You recognize two other faces now, thinking about this for the first time in a bit. The faces of Spore and an unnamed Locust. You now also remember having seen Dead in the pile of bodies. Right. I also just remembered, independently of this history check... Idaho, was the guy that you saw, a bearded man in a black suit? Yeah, he was an old man. He's not my dad. Okay. Yeah. I saw that as well. And I saw you with him. And yeah. And you were definitely dead, Doran. Hold on, hold on, Mordred, did... Wait, what? Was I dead? Yeah, all of you were dead. It was not good. Well, honestly, that's kind of comforting. Uh, well... Well... You thought we were all dead. You think you're gonna die. That's not right. Well, I mean, I don't mean it that way. I just, honestly, thought I was alone in it. How could you possibly mean it? Well, I mean, I wasn't dead in it. I thought it was just me. I mean, at least now we're in it together. I don't know. Who do you care anyway? And I mean... I don't care. Whoa! Whoa! I didn't say it brings us up to get it riled! Uh... Um, we are all... We're all gonna get out of this. There is not gonna be any pile of bodies. Everyone's gonna be okay. We're just gonna figure this out. What? Did the lady say anything to you, Mordred, in your vision? No. I just... She... Just... I tried to fight her. Because I thought, you know, obviously all my friends are dead and all I see is the lady. Uh, and then, uh, we touched. And... This lady, what did she look like? Doesn't Eleven get me to what the lady looks like? She was... Big? That's the only thing I remember. Yeah. That's the only thing that anyone seems to care about about this woman. I mean, hey, listen, I played Resident Evil. That's all you need to know. True. Unlike Resident Evil, big woman, this woman was clad in heavy armor that was, like, golden. And in love. And held a hammer. Right. That was, like, ridiculously large. And in love. So not a vampire Dommie Mommie. No. An armored Dommie Mommie. But still a Dommie Mommie. Yeah. But still a Dommie Mommie. A paladin Dommie Mommie. Check that. Yeah, she looked... She looked like a holy woman. She didn't... She didn't look evil to me. Well, maybe it's a different person we're looking for. But it does seem like a big coincidence. She didn't seem like a big, like, brainwashed, take-control-of-everyone's-futures kind of person? No. To be honest, I didn't... I didn't really... I wasn't there long enough to get a feel for anybody. My face was half burned off. But, yeah. I mean, regardless, we only have so much time to save Doran. So... Three days. Doran, do you know how you died? All I know is... Look, all I've seen is... I'm on the ground, in the forest, huge holy shit. Doran. All of it. And I know it happened three days ago. Can we... I just want to be that guy for a second. Can we, like, put you in a really big suit of armor or something? Like... Why don't you ask Murder? He's the one who's been chummy-chummy with that fucking druid. Maybe we find a way out of the forest so you're not in it, and this prophecy doesn't come true. We've been in the forest for three days. Do you have any idea how we're gonna get out of the forest? Not at the immediate moment, no. Well, I'm dying for a way out of this forest, so if you find one, let me know. Well, you're dying in the forest, either way. Well, here I'm not dying yet, am I? No, you're not. I lean over to Mordred and kind of go, I think there's more going on here than just the death stuff. Yeah, I don't know what happened on, like, the day I was gone. You guys, what has happened? Well, they were doing this kind of back then as well. That's true. Yeah, no. Can we hear them? What the fuck are you guys talking about? Yeah. Yeah. You just... I don't just lean over to Mordred. Yeah, it's just not quiet at all. There was no whispering. You know, you're terrible at trying to keep things secret, and lying, and whispering, and all of that. You know that, right? Well, it's not like I ever try. You guys are the ones who keep fighting at each other and have secret visions. That was for Idaho. Mordred, that was not about you. That was about Idaho. You've done nothing wrong, Mordred. I turned with them. Yeah, why are you doing that? Yeah. Idaho. Look, Idaho. Oh, my gosh. Who was that? So, Idaho, do you have anything to say for yourself? About what? I'm sorry I lied to you guys. Is that what you want to hear? I'm sorry I kept this secret. I am freaked out about it still. There was a lot that happened. I don't fully understand what happened. There's been a lot of fire and death motif going on here, so I'm pretty freaked out. And I'm sorry that I kept this from you guys. Thank you. Is that what you were looking for there? Or was it because I leaned over to Mordred and then said that you guys were sleeping with each other? Which I still, I turned back. We asked you what you were talking about. That's not your business. I guess whatever we tell you, we have to accept, right? Or whatever you tell us. That's what I said. But also, Idaho, I mean, I realize maybe I overreacted a bit about the fire sprite. This is actually for all of you. We are in this together, whether we like it or not. And if we can just not lie to each other. Lie, steal, cheat, anybody, anybody else. Just not to each other. Can we try and do that? Well, I'm talking about the fire sprite. Stuff like that. And if we can just maybe be open with one another a little bit, I think that could make things so much nicer. That's all I ask. I don't know why you thought we'd be upset about you having a fire sprite that might help us. Yeah, that's the biggest thing. It's less, well, at first it was very, like, the guy who, my dad or whoever, was very hush-hush about it. Hold the fuck on. Listen, you keep saying your dad. It wasn't my dad. It wasn't your dad. It was not my dad. It was not my dad. But he looked exactly like your dad or he looked kind of like your dad? He had a paternal feel. This is really important, okay? He had a paternal feel. Okay. All right, buddy, I'm going to need you to just focus for a second. Did he look like your father or not? He looked a little bit like my dad, but he was not my dad. Would you say the average man looks like your father? Like above a certain age and of a certain race, yes. Okay, so. But he has daddy issues. I don't have daddy issues. Yeah, I think. I do not have daddy issues. How many of your paladin teachers you thought, that guy could be my dad? Great question. Well, I did. That laugh is canon. They stopped putting me in the male teacher's classroom after a while. Okay, well, okay, so let's stop calling this guy your dad. When you walk along a street and you see just another grown adult man, do you just go, oh, papa? I know who my dad is. It's not your father. I know who my dad is. Okay. Yeah, you do. Okay, okay. Guy gave you a heart strike, obviously. Just, okay, just two. No more secrets, okay? Anybody have any last secrets they want to share? No. I'm sorry for not telling you. The guy was very hush-hush about it. It seems like it's something I should not talk about at all. And then the mortar talked about the fire vision and the guy, and I kind of didn't know how to process that. Yeah. I'm sorry for not bringing it up. Okay, buddy. To be honest, that's the most believable thing you said all night that you didn't know how to process, so I appreciate you doing that. Thanks, Darren. All right. Because we're here for you, we really are. I can't help it if you don't know about what's going on. Can I have a perception check? 19. For me. 20. Ooh. Okay. That's going to be a 15 plus zero, so 15. As you are all talking. 20. That's a dirty 20 for old Sambo. Okay. Helen, what did you get? Dorbo. I got a 15. Oh, these are a 15 or above. You all notice like a cold chill in the air as storm clouds seem to be moving and light snow seems to be falling, which is especially weird because about 30 seconds ago when you guys came out here and started talking, the sun was just hitting the top of its arch around the world, and you all were feeling actually kind of warm. Mordred, did you just change the weather? Can you do that? I can turn into animals. I, like, if you want to see like an owl, I can do that. Well, look, dude, I don't know what druids do, but it's fucking cold all of a sudden. Yeah, I... Animals talk here. Does none of this make sense? A simple no would have sufficed. I'm sorry. It's a high stress situation. We need to find... Idaho's like fighting his fingers. He told me not to tell anyone. Maybe I fucked this one up. Look at Idaho. He's a mess. For the record, this also isn't any of my illusion magic. I couldn't do something this big. Idaho, what are you doing? Why do you look weird? What are you doing? Oh, I'm just nervous because I told you guys something that the vision man asked. I told you guys about this, and I wasn't supposed to talk about it, so when vision people give you things, secrets, and then you tell them, I feel like they'd be thinking that. I don't think he's going to know. So, are we still going to find Tor and give her back the finger? I kind of feel like he's going to know. I think that that's the route that I would like to go, but I do have more at stake, because Tor did say she'd help. Yeah, and it feels like people are doing this. Full disclosure, I want to do it because A, the finger kind of creeps me out. B, it's the next lead we have for Hope, I guess. I'm down to collaborate with her on destroying this finger. I'm just not really for this finger being used on people. That's kind of part of my office, and why I'm very against this giant, or maybe not giant, brainwashing future lady. I don't want it to be used either, and it didn't sound like Tor wanted that. It sounded like Tor wanted to give people their memories back. I would have. But, again, we kind of just met her. She seems trustworthy, but we did... Can I point out the fact that she was brainwashed for the entirety of your knowing her? It wasn't once she had the finger. That's a good point. And then once we had it, we didn't use it against her, so that would have been her original plan. But how do we know that? I mean, it's our best guess. We know it insofar as we know it. Also, how we find it. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. Um... It's getting cold. We should find some, like, a cave or something, even though we just woke up. Do you think we could maybe go back to the cave with the all-knowing beast? Or, I guess, the druid. If Doran... I'm afraid of the room if Doran gets in the same room as him. Oh, yeah. No, we need to talk about that before we go in. Yeah. Well, how about we walk and talk? It is the only cave that I currently know about. Also, I forgot to mention, but this morning or last night, a surprise coming from deeper inside the cave. I have no idea what that was about. We kind of got hustled out before I could investigate it further. But it is a safe space. I know you do not like the druid, Doran. I know. But it is a safe place for us to wait out the weather, perhaps. Like a baby frame? We can find someone somewhere else if you're not comfortable with it. I don't know, I... Look, listen, listen. I don't know why we're here, but I feel like that druid is responsible. Now, Mordred, you've already been good to all of us. If you tell me that we're safe, I'll go with you. We're going to be safe. We just... To be honest with you, he kind of freaks me out at this point as well. He's clearly holding out something on me. And he was, you know... He was a lot more fun before, but now... Now he's just kind of like a creepy old man. So, you know, we could go back, but I doubt we're going to get any more info out of him. And I don't know how long this weather is really going to keep going. Who knows how... It just switched. Will it switch again in half an hour? Are we going to be stuck in a cave for three days and then we're out of time? Quick question, was that supposed to be comforting? I'd like to think so. Christ, Mordred. You know. Mordred, do you think we could ask him about our vision? I mean, we could. Maybe. We could find out. To be honest, I was kind of busy seeing if you knew where Hope was. He didn't. He didn't. He's just kind of the only person on our side that's accessible that knows things. But is he on our side? You know, Hope also went missing the same day. So the fact that he doesn't know where she is, I think... I don't know what to say, but I feel like that's perhaps not the entire truth. I mean, you guys seen the time druid and Hope in the same room. I know Hope. She's an eleven year old girl. I don't think she's a time druid. Nor do I think she's responsible. I mean, wait. I mean, if anything, that just means that we're closer to finding Hope because then we know that Hope's here for sure. Idaho, listen. Here's the thing. The time druid, he was around when we were kids. Right? Doing time druid magic. Right? When Hope was, what, six years old at the time? No. When we first met, she was an infant. Okay, infant. So, I mean, it really... There's a little bit of a lag here. Can we just get back on the same page for a quick second? They're not the same person, but... I hear what you're saying. Can I lean in for Idaho real quick? I do want to say this is a time magic druid. Yeah, what's up, Werner? She could be a very powerful infant. I lean into Doran. For what are they fucking shaking? She's not a time druid. I don't think they're ready to shake my head. I... Okay. I'm like, this is what we've got, Sarah. Just wanted to tell you. What if Doran gets mad at Hope because Hope is the time druid? I don't want to live in that world. I... Hope is not the time druid. You're still not whispering. We're here. We're right here. Dude! Okay. Yeah, we can go back to the cave, but you have to promise no trying to kill the time druid. Doran. I just asked you if we were safe. You said, uh, fuck it, I don't know. And that was it. What? You want me to promise now that I'm not... Like, if he's cool, I'm cool. Okay? Well, the problem is... Are you sure about that? The problem is that I... No! The problem is that I don't know that you're cool. I don't know if you're going to be cool around them. I'll just wait out here and freeze to death. Yeah, you guys feel the wind, uh, buffeting your face? Let's all go. Yeah, let's go. Doran's going to go and crawl into a nearby bush and just be like, see you guys later. I'd have a good night. Pick up the bush. Uh, you succeed. I'm carrying the bush. Idaho, you're now lifting a bush with Doran inside of it. Alright. Please put me down. We head back. Okay, I'm sorry. And I put the bush back down. And just to clarify, you're both naked except for underwear still, yeah? Yeah. Why? No, we clothed. We clothed at the end. Oh. Yeah. You're right. Idaho and Morgz are clothed. Did you clothe Doran? Yes! Why did I ever take my clothes off? When did that happen? I have no memory of this. That did happen. We did strip last episode. Why? You ended last episode, I'm pretty sure, with just your underwear. Really? I think so. Yeah. It was to prove something about a tree. It was in the fight against me. The whole... I forget how it happened, actually. My god, me too. So, you're all clothed because it started getting cold and you put on your clothes and Doran, you already had some on. To be fair, I was never naked. You were never naked there, yeah. I put the Doran bush down and I look at Mordred and go, it's worth one in the hand anyway. Jesus Christ. Okay. Alright, Mordred. Do you... Before we go in there, I need to ask you something. Did this druid come... Or did this dagger come from that druid? Because I don't really want it if it did. No, no. That came from the vision. What do you mean? Like, you know how Idaho has the fire sprite? That's what I got. Wait, but what is it? It's a dagger. Every time I touch it, it feels extremely magical. And, you know, it seems like somebody could wield it pretty well from everything I've seen of it. Well, I mean, look, I'm never one to turn down a new dagger. I'll keep the dagger, but I'm just like... I mean, you're going to use that dagger better than I will. I'm not... It's just a normal dagger? Well, no. If you unsheathe it, you'll see that it's pretty powerful. Pretty magical. What does it do? Well, every time I... If you swipe at something, it feels like you're just going right in. There's no armor, no resistance. You're just slipping right through flesh. Like a dagger? Like a dagger, but no one's wearing armor. Like, imagine if you were naked. Most daggers do not go through armor. Yeah, that one feels like it might. I have bear claws. Are they, like, fresh this morning? Can I have one? And you guys walk into the cave. Just real quick. So you guys walk into the cave. Mordred, do you remember exactly how you got that dagger? Did the lady give it to me? I believe, right? It was given to me in the vision by the lady? No, you got it in 11. It's all good. So, you guys walk into the cave. The big bear is there doing yoga. And there's a bunch of small animals making food. It's around lunchtime. Has the weather gotten worse? Yes. It is now a flurry outside. I want to look around and see if there's any fires near me. There are. There's some small ones. I'm going to go to the biggest one and sit down next to it. And ignore everyone else. Is Beverly still there? Beverly's still there, yeah. We also got our new friend here. And I take out... Calcifer. What did we name? Okay, how will this be cast? Flynn. Wait a minute. His name is Flynn. Flynn, right. We can't have a fire sprite named Calcifer. People will crucify us. Calcify us. Oh, fuck. We give him some wood. Take the wood. He goes to the other fire and is heating up food. And is just kind of chilling around. Can I walk up to the bear? Hey, yeah. They know now. They're not going to do anything. We're all going to be cool. But it's definitely storming out. We can't really go out there. Okay, so, Mordred. They might know, but not everyone else knows. Yeah, we'll be cool. We'll be cool. Animals think I'm an animal. So we're just going to keep that up for now. Yeah. Cool. Yeah, no, that storm... I haven't seen something like that here yet. So that's worrying. Hmm. Yeah. Well, you're welcome to stay. Okay, one last question. You hear anybody crying recently? Give me an insight check. This sounds like a setup to a joke or a pickup line or something. Or, like, a prank call. You know what I mean? Like, you better go and catch it. I got a six-seed on my insight check. You ask this, and the bear's face flickers for a moment in a way that someone who's not a druid wouldn't be able to discern emotions of animals as easily as you. It's a flicker of fear before the druid goes, Nope, no idea. Okay, druid man, we're putting a lot of trust in each other, so I'm glad you told me the truth. Uh, yes, and, uh, more truth. I haven't been completely honest with you. Okay. All right. What about, what about, no, what about? Is that all? That's it for now. No, I really want to know what you haven't been honest about. I feel like I've been dealing with a lot of lies recently. A whole bunch of things throughout our lives. Okay, but, like, do you have, like, a highlight reel? Any good, big, important ones, like, that I should know right now? Yeah, sure. So some music starts playing, and we flash back to a montage. We flash back to a time where, and this is all, like, playing in, like, a minor illusion next to him. We flash back to a time where you're both in the druid temple that you guys went to in the first episode, and you guys are making eggs there together, and he's like, Ah, gotcha, Mordred! They're not really tofu eggs! That's the first one. The second one, you guys are taking some boars and putting them up in high trees. Hell yeah. And getting prepared to drop them. Drop boars. He goes, Yep, that is a real thing. Those boars do not live in those trees. Those were ground boars. Oh. Aw. They snap their legs on impact. Anyways. And then we go to a third one, which is earlier when you asked about Hope. When you asked about Hope, and he said that he knew, or that he said, Hope who? He goes, That was a lie. I know who Hope was. Okay. Mordred. No, we're going with three. We're staying on three. Sorry, I got the imposter. Mordred. Don't tell anyone this. I need you to promise to keep this between you and me. I just had like a whole... Okay. I just promised everybody one more secret, but I'll hear you out. Well, promise me this secret. Ah, beans. Okay. Yeah, what is it? Hope was stolen here. Like, stolen to the forest? Kidnapped. And taken here. That's why I'm here. And that's why everybody remembers. Because I tried to stop it. Mordred. If you don't remember anything else, remember. I'm a hero. Can I do an insight check on this? Give me an insight check. A 19. Complete honesty. Okay. Okay. Why do I have to keep this a secret? Well, except maybe the hero thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's conjecture. Yeah, that's interpretation. He believed it, 100%. But it's desperation. I don't... Okay. Why do I have to keep this a secret? Especially from Hope's big sister. Oh, I don't really care about you keeping it a secret from her. You need to keep it a secret from... Ah! Okay. Okay. So she was stolen here. Okay. So do you think that Hope... But if you tell her, I imagine she'll tell Idaho. So that was kind of the whole idea. Yeah, I get that. Okay. Do you think that maybe finding her would get us out of this predicament that we're in in the next few days? Laundry, I've been looking for her for 16 years. Okay. Man, you really... Now, a little caveat. That is give or take 10 years. I've not been keeping the best track of time. I've been going by ferret's deaths. Okay, that's not a bad way. That's why I cracked all my druids. I know! It's pretty consistent, but you know some times are worse than others. Yeah, for sure. They have small intestines. Alright. Well, Laundry. Yeah. Good talking to you. Okay. Yeah. Okay. And I turn around and I'm as stiff as a stick. I'm just walking back through a fire. I'm sitting down, posture perfectly straight. We, uh... You look rattled. What has talking to the almighty bear of knowledge been fun? Has anybody remembered? I mean, okay. I huddle. I come for a huddle. Everybody's just... It was her, wasn't it? I'll huddle in. I'll huddle in to see what's going on. It was her, wasn't it? No, definitely not. Oh, okay. Okay, the animal... They don't know he's... Obviously, they don't know he's not a huge bear. So we've got to keep that a secret. Okay, so when I talk about the bear, I'm really talking about the druids. Unhuddle. Unhuddle, unhuddle. Talking to him! And the badgers, they are just outside of the huddle going, Yep, I'm making food! Yeah, I mean... Doran just leans back to standing upright, but doesn't move. I mean, he... He just sucks, to be honest. Yeah, I'm well aware of that. So, and every time I talk to him, especially in the last... Since I've seen him since last time... Not last time, I said literally last time when I was a kid. He just... I just realized he just kind of sucks so much. And... And yeah... Yeah... What do you mean, he sucks? I mean, I know why I think he sucks, but you've always liked him. What is your problem now? Oh, maybe I'm just beginning... You know, maybe I'm just getting a little bit more empathetic than I was before, but... If you did that, you would explode. We are, what, three days out from your predicted death, Mordred? That's my point. If you became any more empathetic, I think you'd explode into a disaster of rainbows and sunshine. But why wouldn't it make sense for them to be empathetic now? Do they seem distracted, talking to each other now? A little, yes. Okay. It's enough that you could try to do something and you'd be going at their passives. Okay. Uh... I want to try to write a very small note. I'd like to look at my satchel and see if I could write a note. I think you're writing constantly all the time. Yeah. I don't think anyone... It's fair, yeah. No one's going to take note of you writing down something like you're always writing. Yeah. It's passing the note that might be the problem. Okay. I write a small note. And I just now flipped to the next page and I'm drawing badgers. He's drawing a badger cooking. Badger, badger, badger, badger, badger. Okay. Beverly? Yeah? You've been in this cave before, correct? You've been here for a while? Yep. A couple days. Okay. How far can you go into the cave? How do you get to the depth of the cave? We don't go further in the cave. Further in the cave is... The deeper you go in caves, the scarier the creatures. What kind of creatures are deeper in the cave? Bears. Wait, no. That doesn't make sense. We already have a bear here. A bigger bear. Huh. I guess I always figured it was a bear. But now I'm analyzing my own prejudices and... Yeah. Bears all the way down. Yeah. Sorry, that was really... I really liked that one. Yeah, I don't know. Beasts of sorts. Wolves. Wolves. I've never met a good wolf. No, again, I'm not coming across good. I mean, the last wolf we met was kind of a dick, so... Yeah, there's like two wolves in the forest. The one in the yellow woods, and then... I forget who the other one is. Is the other one also magic? No, he just stalks and kills things. Oh, normal wolf. Okay. Okay, well, I'll let you get back to cooking. Oh, sure. Well, yeah, I'm just right here next to all of you, and I can hear pretty much everything you're saying when you're not all huddled up. So I'll just keep standing here. But you can hear us when we huddle up, right? I feel like we should walk away. Correct, yeah. I'm gonna walk away. Oh, and you're all... Okay, sure. Bye. She's kind of problematic, eh? Like, she kind of... Like, nosy at the least. Yeah. He caught me here, but... I don't know if the time we spent together has made us besties. Like, she has some stuff to work on, for sure. Um... I think Beverly's alright. She would. Well, um... I don't know about the rest of you, but... Yeah. I have no idea, and it sounds like the deeper we go in, the more dangerous it's gonna be. But maybe if we eat something, we get warm, and we take a look? I'll float this hair skin lying around that's wrapped itself up in. Maybe he needs a blankie. How about we're not skinning him? Is it...? I think I realized something. Is this anger? Is it flirting? Is it...? Are they, like, saying the new words they've learned? Because I used to do that to practice it. I don't know! What are you talking about? You're not whispering! Oh, well, if I'm not whispering, then you know what I'm talking about, right? Like, I'm talking about you guys. Yeah, this is a little thing I like to call anger. Just a sprinkle of it. Let's break up the tension with a good old round of high-fives! High-five, Idaho! Oh, high-five, Orchard! Vision board! Boom! Vision board! On your hand, that you've now... No, I'm kidding. I... I'm going to... Uh... Turn around. High-five, Doran! Why don't you go house and sell that fucking bear? Come on! A little high-five? Let's break up the tension! Sorry, I will say, Idaho and Orchard, did you high-five with your ass? No, I've been careful with my F-hand. Uh, I was not being careful. Yeah, don't worry about it. I high-fived Idaho with my F-hand. I... High-five! No, sorry, that's not what I was going to do before. Let's roll that back. I just wanted to see what happened. That was pure metagaming. Let me roll that back. I high-fived Idaho with my high-five hand. Let me roll that back. I never did that. And then you give me the golden finger, right? Every after? Yeah. Come on, Doran. A high-five? I weakly give Mordred a high-five. High-five! All right! Boom. Very well. Yeah, okay. I take it. I know what I can get out of Doran. And then you too. I turn around. And then I turn around. Seraphine, I'm going for a special high-five. We're going to do a high-five and handshake, okay? Okay. Okay. As I'm doing this, I'm going to try to slide the note onto my hand. I'm going to go, yeah! And then I'm going to try to go for a high-five and a shake, and then pass the note palm to palm. Give me a slide of handshake, and I'm going to say with advantage because you've set up the situation. I would like to throw a flag on the player. I used to do magic. This would not work, only because... Sorry, let me clarify what I'm saying. I think Seraphine should make this roll. Because this is very easy for him to do. Okay, wait. Wait, wait, wait. So my plan is... It's difficult for her to receive the palm note without knowing it. Yeah. I actually understand that. This kind of trick, you do this, but it never works for that reason. So my intent right now... Can it be a dead space thing? Wait. I'm not noticing it. Sorry. Carlos, please go ahead. Yeah, my intent is to go for it, and then we're going to shake hands, and then normally Seraphine would pull away, and I'm going to hold, and I'm going to wink. I'm going to assume that, like in a way that maybe Idaho and these two can't see it, right? Can I roll Perception to notice the wink? You would have Perception? Beforehand, like the note part, then I withdraw my Perception. Yeah, yeah. So here's what it needs to have. Carlos. Yes. You will give me a Perception. Okay. No. You will give me a Performance. You will give me a Performance check. No, Carlos will. With advantage, because you've set up this whole situation. First? Do you want me to just throw it out? Something else will happen. Okay. You ready? Carlos. It's a 13, and all I have to do is convey the idea that some weird stuff's about to happen. Doran, what is your passive Insight or Perception, whichever is higher? So that's a plus one. When you see the wink, nothing really registers with you about it. That is right. This might be something later. Maybe later it'll come back to you, but for now you don't register it as important. Yeah. Would you actually think anything was special about that wink? Or would you be like, oh, Mordred's looking at it. Yeah, especially after I spent a moment being like. So the thing is, in my mind, Doran spent six years living as a thief in one of the biggest cities on the continent. See, he's reading into every wink that there is. But I'm also kind of a dunderhead. But he is a dunderhead, and Doran does definitely underestimate his capabilities. Yeah, I am also. All right. All right, so now what does Seraphine have to do? Do I have to do anything then? Now, Seraphine, because Carlos passed a DC 10 on the wink check, you noticed the wink. And because it's at you, you understand there's some significance to it. Yeah. So I'm going to say something that people probably won't like listening to the podcast, and it's a thing I like to do. You're going to be giving me a perception check, but instead of wisdom, you're going to be using your dexterity modifier. Cool. Christian, I will defend you on this. That actually makes perfect sense, and I love it. They said to do this in the DM guide. I read this recently. Did they actually? They said the example they give is if you're doing a boastful intimidation by flexing your muscles, do intimidation with strength. I can't believe they haven't hired you yet currently. I've always, yeah. I've always done that with survival checks, because it's the dumbest thing, it being wisdom. So this is perception with dex? Because you're feeling it in your hands, so you're perceiving it through your feelings. Yeah. Sorry, what, Helen? Perception with dex. So do you have proficiency in perception? No. Oh, I have half. I have half, because I'm a bard. Then you're basically just doing a dexterity skill check, and it will, and add that half onto it. Yeah, yeah. Does that make sense? Yep, totally. That is so much better than my wisdom modifier. Okay. So this works out great. Okay, all right. So that's a 16 plus 3, so that's a 19. 19. You receive the note. Okay. And you both pull away. Okay. My favorite part of this is this is like a five check chain, and all of them have to work, so you could have just waited an hour. I didn't want the line of questioning to continue on me. No, I love it. I don't want it to circle around. I love it. Sam! Okay. What? Oh my, oh my, oh my God, what? Yo, Sam, I'm sorry. What? Sam just clicked on the bad guy right here. Sorry, I'm trying to edit my, I'm not trying to click on anything. It's all good, it's all good. Go ahead, eh? Behind me, just waving my dagger. Is it the Roll20 chat? Yeah, yeah. Okay, well, well. Woo! Okay, so I take the note. Awesome. Yeah, and you all high five some people. Well, Idaho, put it here, mate. Do you high five me with the same hand as the note? No. No, I do not. Okay. I high five you, Seraphina. Which hand do you use, Seraphina? I use my, I'm using the same hand, which I guess is the F, my right hand. You mean my left hand? Listen, just let me know if your Fs touch. Which hand are the Fs on? It's whatever hand you handshaked Carlos in. Yeah. Oh, okay. That would be my hand. For me, it's on my right hand, it's on my dominant hand. Yeah, so it's on each other's right hands. Regardless of if you're dominant or not. I mean, I definitely high fived Mordred with my right hand. I would have high fived Mordred just with my right. No, but I've been right handing, I've been high fiving and everything with my left. My non-F hand. Mordred's been safe. Yeah. Okay, so then. The first time when I did it, it was this. Wait. So then if Mordred went in for a high five and handshake with their left hand, Seraphina would have followed suit, and the note would be in her left hand. So she'd be high fiving Idaho with her right hand. So their Fs are about to touch. Yeah. Our Fs are going to touch. Seraphina, I don't know if I'm ready for this. To touch Fs. For a high five. Oh, no. It's officially happening. So you guys high five, and as you high five and your Fs touch, you both feel pain again in your hands. You both suffer one damage. Do you feel that? Idaho, you suffer one fire damage. And Seraphina, no, Seraphina, you suffer one piercing damage, as it feels like a little sting. Do you feel that? Wow. That was a good high five. That was a good one. That was really crisp. I didn't think it was that strong. I didn't think it was actually strong. Seraphina, this is the bond that we share, the sheer quality of the high fives you can give. Did I see a spark between their hands or anything, if it was fire damage? Would I have felt it? It wouldn't be a spark, but I do like that visual description. You know what, screw it. Yeah, it could be a spark. Yeah, you saw a little spark when they high fived. Guys, your hands just lit up. What was that? Why did that happen? Friendship. Are you okay? I'd say we could do it again, but that kind of fucking hurt. I've spent my whole life high fiving people, and I've never done anything like that. Here, Mordred. Idaho. Do you want to try again? Are you high fived to Mordred? I used my left hand, but it doesn't have the F on it. Go for it again. We'll get there. We'll get there. Idaho. What did yours feel like? Oh, it kind of felt like a, I don't know. What does pain feel like? A little burn? Mine was more a stabbing kind of feel. I don't know if that's important. Do you have a splinter? No, I don't think so. Okay, guys, this is weird. Somebody high fived me. Not it. Not it. Right hand, of course. It's my high fiving hand. I'm right-handed. I'd run over. This is the greatest moment of my life. This is the predator handshake. And then this time, I guess I'll keep using my left hand. I don't know why I would switch. I'm just going for a normal high five. It's a really, it's a pretty good high five, but there's nothing magical about it. Okay, that was kind of cute. We don't have a storm. Is there like a predator high five cut in? The zoom in? Of the hands? Yeah. Yeah. Rest in peace. Rest in peace. I don't know what this is, but maybe because Idaho and I fucked, maybe it's one of us. Idaho, are you going to high five him or do I have to? Say it again. Do I have to high five you? We fucked with the high five. It was a good high five. It was, but maybe it's just one of us. This is ridiculous and high five me, Sarah. Come on. Okay, fine. Can I do it as hard as I possibly can? I want to make it hurt. Give me an athletics check. Cool. Thank you. This is the predator high five. Yeah, this is it. Yeah. Oh shit, that's a six. That's a ten plus zero, so ten. It's a six and a ten. It's just, your hands do collide, but you do almost miss. You both suffer a d4 of damage. Shit. And that's just from the impact. Roll it. I'm rolling it. I'm rolling it. Sam, you suffer two piercing, and Helen, you suffer two piercing damage. Now, we did heal up at our last attack, right? Yeah. So you both suffer two damage. Helen, yours feels much the same. Sorry, Serafina, yours feels much the same. But Doran, as you do a high five, you know exactly what a dagger wound feels like, and it feels like you just got sliced. All right, flashing damage. Sorry, I'll correct that later. Sorry, did you guys high five with your F hand? Yep, my right hand. It's my right hand. It's the only hand I high five with. But, yeah, so I'm going to drift back and look at my hand and look for damage, and I'm going to see no damage. There were sparks, by the way? You see the F on your hands, and the lines look a little more clear-cut. Serafina, there were no sparks. Huh. What exactly are these Fs? Well, there was, like, a spark of friendship. So maybe it's, did we? Maybe we are friends, but maybe it wasn't that. Maybe it was the F. Did we talk about this before? Well, I had the F when I woke up from my vision, and then we all went for a round of good old handshakes, and now we're here. We had kind of bigger problems with the whole wolf fiasco going on. Do you know what this is? No, unfortunately, no. I mean, I interacted with the lady, and then I had it. The lady? Who is this lady? She's the big paladin woman with the big hammer. Well, I don't know if she's a paladin. She could probably be part of paladin school, I think. Savannah, Idaho wasn't there, and we'll recognize her. It's true. I mean, I recognize all the female teachers because those are the classes I took. Mom, if you will. No, I, no. I'm sorry, that is such a, without your backstory thing, saying that you only took the female teachers, I don't believe that. You're making it so I have to include it. Oh, you can cut this out, too. I want to be very clear about this. I have never confused another woman with my mom. I respect that. I nod, like, solemnly. Moms are cool. Hey, sorry, excuse me. It's me, down here. And you guys see Walking Up is Beverly with, like, a big pot between her hands of, like, some sort of gooey thing, and she goes, you all look a little, I don't know, confused. Like, you're trying to figure stuff out, and when I'm confused, I often, well, I'll often have tea and stuff, but when that's not cutting it, mushroom soup. Can I interest you all? Where is myself? Where is myself? Can we have a look around for myself first, please? Can we make sure myself's all right? What's in the box? What's in the box? Okay. I would have loved some mushroom soup. He emerges. From the soup? No, no, no. Okay. That's so kind, Beverly. I would love some mushroom soup. Thank you. Thank you. Oh, guys, I forgot to mention. Earlier, when I was talking about my vision and the secret, just so you guys don't think I'm, like, hiding stuff from you guys, I think the bag that he gave it to me is magic, too. And as you're saying that, I need constitution saving. Oh, boy. Oh, that's a six. I got an 18. Okay. Okay. I got a 15. Plus zero. 15. 14. So, it's a six. Doran, you feel it first. Doran, this is not mushroom soup in the way that most people enjoy mushroom soup. You start feeling real funky. And you start dripping. Oh, man. No. No. Idaho. You don't have time to react to this like the others do, because, unfortunately, you also failed the DC, and you begin slurring your words. I think he gives the best. Are you two all right? Oh, no. I begin to see if I can find some. Is Beverly still near us? Guys, Beverly is on the floor looking up at the ceiling. I walk over and shake her. Beverly, what did you put in the soup? Mushrooms. Yeah, I've gathered that. What kind of mushrooms, Beverly? No, I gathered them. Oh, no. Beverly, what kind of mushrooms did you put in the soup? We're all connected. Oh, my gosh. We're all connected. Mordred, please tell me you're fine. Are you okay? Yeah, do I feel it? Do I feel it? As somebody who's gotten poisoned out in the field a handful of times, eaten shit off the forest ground, would I feel it kind of seep it in? Oh, can we have Mordred as, like, trip guide? Also, did I feel anything? Also, can I do a check to have felt this way before? Because I feel like these are these field antics. You trained for this, Doran. I feel like this might not be an unfamiliar feeling for Doran. But you did get a six on your constance. No, no, I'm high as shit. There's no doubt about that. But have I experienced it before? That's a different question. So can I, like, do a check to ride my trip a little better? Is there any room there? Yeah, you can do – that would be morality, so persuasion, self-persuasion. Okay. Am I high? I'll roll with that. Yeah, even you and Mordred are feeling it a little. That's a 15. As Doran – You start going up. Okay. But I'm riding the high. As he's starting to get a grasp on his trip, I, like, reach over and grab his shoulders. Doran, I'm so sorry you're going to die. Buddy, look, we're all going to die. Oh, my God, we're all connected. While they're having this really touching moment, I'd like to put Mordred aside, away from them. Yeah? Yeah, you grab Mordred. What did – What did you roll again? I rolled a 15. As you pull Mordred aside, the mushrooms do begin to hit you. Just a second. And I unfold the letter secretly, turned away from everybody. Can I have a performance check with disadvantage? Yeah. I'm good at performance, though. Okay. All right. So – oh, disadvantage. Right. Yeah. Okay. So that is going to be an 11 plus 6, so 17. 17. Yeah. So I'm going to be honest with you. Wouldn't have mattered if you had been pointing it the other way. No one else would have noticed. But you – yeah, you read it. You put it right up to your eyes so that nobody else can see it. What does it say? It says, Hope kidnapped to the forest. Don't tell Idaho. Just, like, the information that I was meant to keep secret. Me and Idaho are staring deeply into each other's eyes. I'm just gazing at him, head clasped. Dog, I see everything right now. Dude, everything is here for you to see. We can never die because we were never anything to begin with. No, man, like, that's the thing is, at the end of the day, none of us ever existed. I'm a bust. Like, it's dust that goes back to dust. We're – like, there's no difference between me and this. And I, like, grab dirt off the ground and, like, rub it on my face. No, man, give me some of that. Oh, yeah, you want some? Oh. I look at the door and, do you want to try something? And my hands start to glow with lay-on hands. Do it. And I lay back and push my chest up to Idaho. And they're completely distracted. I'm going to hold Seraphina's shoulders. I'm going to go, you can't tell him. Mordred, what do you mean? And then I'm going to let go. I just said no more secrets, Mordred. And then I'm going to let go. And then I'm going to attempt to turn into a spider that might be resistant to poison. I'm going to think of, like, any creature I know that might be resistant to poison. Mordred, you said no more secrets. I can't. I can't keep this. But, Seraphina, at the moment Mordred let go, suddenly Mordred is no longer there. You are in a world of your own. I walk over to the other two. I made Mordred disappear. They're gone. Sarah. I think I killed Mordred. No. Sarah, it's okay. None of us were here to begin with. You can't kill him. It's okay. But they're gone. You've made mushroom soups and stews and mushrooms before. I'm sure you've had similar creatures before. You can definitely turn into some sort of spider that's resistant to poison. If you could just give me one more constitution check. I would love to. I'm going to say DC 10. 10 or higher, and you're good. Lower than a 10? I rolled a 7. Why was I so descriptive? You realize that this is not technically a poison. It's just too late. Can I not turn into a spider then? What? Or am I just going to seep in? Now you're a spider tripping. Yeah. I look back at Seraphina. Seraphina, she'll come back at any moment. Don't worry. He's here, he's there, he's everywhere. I am a spider. Turn into a goat instead. I climb up to the roof, I get high as fuck. I'm just a spider up there now. Why do you guys all have dirt on your face? Why don't I have dirt on my face? I'm going to smear dirt on Seraphina's face. I don't know if I like this. None of us do. Then why do you do it? I don't know if I like you. I never really know. Why don't we like this all the time? This is nice. I've got a charlotte's web, everybody. Mushrooms good, question mark? You guys, can I have somebody roll a D? No, let's say two, D, four, three. And that's how many hours you guys are going to spend on your trip down here. Oh. That's a two. Oh, I got a different number. Are we all rolling different numbers? What did you roll? I rolled six. Six, okay. Oh, I'm out for a while. What did you get? I got a four. I got a three. Okay, this checks out. So it's a fun first hour and a half before some of the trips start going bad. But, Doran, you start getting the benefit of, like, waking up. You've had such a good trip that, like, you're not fully sober first, but you're, like, in a good head space first. And can I have you give me an intelligence check with advances? Just give me an intelligence check to remember something, to have a vision come to you on your trip. Okay. So that's a 21. Oh, my God. All right, well, 21. First, Doran, the first person who woke up. Doran, you wake up first, or you're out of it first, and you remember, during you being high, how you thought back to that vision you had when you were just a young boy. And you remember one other slight detail. You were there in the forest with a hole in your chest, leaning back against yourself. And you weren't entirely sure what that meant, but as you're having this vision, it's clear that, for whatever reason, there was a Doran behind you with the same hole in its chest that you were propped up against. And that's what you remember as you're now forced to take care of your friends who are going through various levels of good and bad trips and vomiting. And you guys are all coming out of it. Fair enough. Next up, Mordred. You've got a three-hour trip. You need an Intelligence check. Do I finish Intelligence? Yeah. Boom, 19. Mordred, I'm going to save yours until the end. Okay. You had a realization, but it doesn't come to you until everyone has. I finished my spider's webbing. It takes a legitimate amount of thought. Is there, like, a novel up there by now? Like, you have a whole... I actually just start writing what I think the mushrooms are. If you find this, you should know that I'm a very high spider. Idaho, would you give me an Intelligence check? Yes, sir. Oh, I have an eight Intelligence. How do I...? You need a ten or higher, is what you see. I've kind of said on this. Will a three cut it? So you vomit just a whole bunch. Right back into the stew. And then, what, two hours later? Yeah. She's been in it for a while. She's going through it. I don't think she's ever done drugs. She's also sober. She doesn't drink alcohol. I don't think she's ever done drugs either. I'm going to say at this point, Doran has, like, a wet rag, and he's kind of wiping Seraphina's head as she shivers on the ground. Why are you being nice to me? You're not nice. Shut up. Point and case. You guys are both kind of... Point and case. You're not nice. Yeah, you're not very nice either, are you? Now shut up. And you push her back down. Seraphina, can you give me an Intelligence check to see what you have? Straight Intelligence. That's going to be a 9 plus 2. Seraphina, you think about Hope during your trip, and there's one thought that comes back to your head. You're thinking about you rescuing Hope, grabbing Hope's hand instead of Idaho's. Oh, Pope. Sorry, Pope. Pope, yeah. You have a sudden realization that Pope was wearing a bracelet, and when you grabbed Hope's hand to pull them out, you grabbed their flesh right where the bracelet should've, and you remember Hope left, both left with that same bracelet. Something isn't right. Ellen is confused. The bracelet was there when I grabbed... He's implying that you didn't pull it, Pope. There's been a switcheroo at some point since you first saw her. Or she lost the bracelet. Or the bracelet is an illusion? She had the bracelet when she was leaving, so it's possible the bracelet is an illusion. I'm sorry, I just thought you were saying that. No, no, you have a decent interpretation. But why would the bracelet be an illusion? So, you all wake up at an evening time, the storm is not quite as wicked outside, and you all have a moment to rest. I'm up first on the edge. The door knows up there. The door knows what he's about. He's just pounding on it. Like, he's just gobbling on it. That's what it's about right now. Set up a funnel for some good will. Serafina's just drawing, sketch after sketch, of the bracelet that she has manically. Yeah. I was going to approach Serafina, but looking at Serafina now super into this, I'm just going to back away. Do I remember my vision, or are we saving it, saving it? Yes, you're all sitting here. It's six hours, so it is now almost dinner time. Mordred, you have a moment where you're just sitting there looking out at a cave. You've turned back from being a spider, and you're just... What's going through Mordred's head? I am worried about everybody. I'm worried about, is February okay? Yeah, February's fine. But I'm more than anything thinking about how we only have three days, and we've already lost six hours. And I'm looking out at the storm. Sorry, yeah. Yeah, and if you think that you look outside at the storm, you have two thoughts that come to your mind. One, I think badgers have some resistance to poison. Two, you had a vision back then when you were tripping that reminded you exactly of your vision that started this whole thing. And you saw it clearly. You saw the bodies. You saw your friends dead in three different ways. You saw the big woman, or big hammer. And there were two things you missed, and you rolled a 19 on your intelligence? Yes, I just realized I rolled an intelligence save, but the difference would have been by two, so I would have rolled a 17. Or I can re-roll if you want me to. I'm going to say this. Roll one more time. If you get a 15 or higher, I'm going to give you both secrets. If you get a 10 or lower, I'm only going to give you one. All right, but it was an eight. I'm glad you didn't say no secrets at any point. Give me one of them. You want the one about Doran? So you remember yourself being in this trip, and things are still a little murky, and you remember looking at Doran and something going on with Doran, but you also remember for just a brief second, you looked past the big woman, and you realized she was incompetent. Do you want to look at Doran, or do you want to look at who she was fighting? I want to look at who she was fighting. Look past Doran's corpse. You look past Doran's corpse. You look at her, and you remembered a moment where she took a step just to the left as she was approaching you, and behind her, the person that she was fighting is Hope, and that's where we're going to end the session. Hell yeah. Good job, everybody, except for R'lyeh. Except for R'lyeh. It'd be like that. I'm going to clarify now. I might clarify then. Adult Hope. Yeah. Yeah.
