Inverting the output of a 2 wire lapel mic can change the character of the sound when you listen on closed back headphones. This Primo 172 capsule outputs its signal in negative phase, which on my voice sounds harsh and stony on headphones. But when I invert the phase it sounds much more natural, deeper and richer. Can you hear the difference ? Deeper sounds change the most. You will not notice a difference on monitor speakers.
