Ed and Lorraine Warren are well-known demonologists known for their paranormal cases. Their experiences have inspired movies and documentaries. They both claim to have had paranormal encounters from a young age. Ed lived in a haunted house and saw an elderly lady come out of a closet. Lorraine had a vision at school that made a nun think she could see into the future. Whether they were heroes or con artists is up for interpretation. Ed and Lorraine Warren, they have established quite the name for themselves and are arguably the most well-known demonologists to date. Their paranormal cases sparked the Conjuring franchise, The Exorcist and the Netflix documentary, The Devil on Trial. You may be a sceptic, a true believer in the paranormal, or believe it's all just a myth. It's up to you to decide. Were Ed and Lorraine Warren the heroic saviours they claimed to be, or were they really just two of the greatest con artists of all time? The pair both grew up in Connecticut, but before they even met, they both claimed to have had paranormal experiences at a very young age. Ed claims that when he was 5 years old, he grew up in a haunted house, and a closet door would open in the middle of the night, and he would see an elderly lady who would then come out of the closet and come up to him. He would feel an icy coldness wash over him. Lorraine, on the other hand, was at an all-girls private school. They had just planted a tree sapling, and a nun asked her why she was looking up at the sky, to which Lorraine replied she was looking up at the tree. The nun asked if she was seeing into the future. Lorraine said, I guess I am.
