The main lecture hall in the Human Biology Building was chosen for analysis because it has interesting and unique characteristics such as its large capacity and being partially underground. The space was thought to produce interesting results when analyzing the envelope, lighting, HVAC, and comparing its climate to Marrakesh. The aim was also to find ways to make the space more efficient. So firstly, we're going to talk about the zone we chose to analyze. So the zone we chose to analyze, as mentioned in the first slide, is the main lecture hall in the Human Biology Building. So the question is, why we chose this zone? So when exploring the Human Biology Building, you search for a space that has interesting and unique characteristics. When we found the main lecture hall, we thought it would be a suitable space because of its large capacity and being partially underground. Because of these factors, we thought the space would produce interesting results when analyzing the envelope, lighting, HVAC, and comparing its climate to Marrakesh. We also thought about how we could make this space more efficient going forward as it was being analyzed.
