Talking with an old friend, we share a similar background but have had different experiences. Not everyone grew up with Santa Claus and the tooth fairy. While our backgrounds may be alike, our stories differ. We pass on certain traditions to our children while leaving others behind. Growing up in a Hispanic culture, I continue to follow the morals and values instilled in me.
