Nothing to say, yet
The speaker just finished 11th grade and got their first tattoo. They had wanted a tattoo for a long time but had to wait until they were older. The tattoo was for their mom and had butterflies and flowers, which she loved. The speaker was nervous and scared before getting the tattoo, but it didn't hurt as much as they thought. The whole process took about two hours. The mom was very happy and showed the tattoo to everyone. I just finished 11th grade. It was August 15th, 2023. I wanted a tattoo for the longest but never knew when I was going to get it because my mom wasn't the type of person to let me get a tattoo at 17 years old. I wanted a tattoo since middle school but I always thought I wasn't going to get one until I was older. I wasn't the type of person to like needles anytime I got a shot or anytime it came down to something poking me. I wasn't that type of person to like it. My mom didn't want me to get my first tattoo at 17. She wanted me to wait a little longer until I knew what I was going to get so I didn't regret it in the future. And she thought getting something meaningful was very important to her. The first tattoo I got was for my mom of course because I had butterflies and flowers which she loved and she thought it would be a good thing to get tattooed on me. I got her nickname because her full name is really really long and I didn't want to get something long and I didn't know how bad the tattoo hurt so I didn't know. Getting the nickname was the best choice I ever had. And I would say that this tattoo was respect for my mom and loyalty because it was for her and dedicated for her. I would say I have a lot of tattoos now but before I didn't. And I wanted one ever since I was younger. When I knew I used to write on myself with pens or markers. The tattoo artist was telling me the best spot to get my tattoo was either on my arm because it would hurt less. I wasn't really sure if I wanted it on my arm or not but I still got it. The first thing I had asked the tattoo artist was hey I was wondering were you available to do a tattoo for me and I showed her the picture. And it was kind of hard finding a perfect tattoo I liked but asking my mom what she liked was going to be the best choice I ever made. The day came when I got my tattoo. It was early in the morning. I was really really nervous. I didn't know how to feel. I was kind of sweating a little bit because it's like is it going to hurt? Is it not going to hurt? I don't know. I started to get there. I was getting more nervous and more nervous and more nervous because I knew this was going to be my first time getting a tattoo. And knowing that I don't like needles I knew it was going to hurt just a little bit. I got there. I called her. She called me and told me to ring bell 47 to get it. And that's what I did. Of course I had a friend to come with me so I could have emotional support and I knew I was a long way and I was getting my tattoo. The first thing she did was ask me did I have any other tattoos in any other spots and I told her no it was my first time getting one. That's when she recommended me getting it on my arm for the best spot because she knew it didn't hurt. Of course she had a lot of tattoos. As the time had come and it was long overdue and I kept getting nervous and sweating really bad because I was so scared. I looked to my left at my friend and told them I'm a little nervous and all they could do was laugh. She started putting on this gel. Mind you I didn't have numbing cream or anything because I didn't want to have to do all of that. So she started putting on this gel wiping my arm off and getting ready to put the tattoo. She drew the tattoo out before I even got there so it wouldn't take that long. She started the needle got closer to my arm. I was really scared. Once she started going and going it didn't hurt as bad as I thought it was going to hurt of course. Maybe because I'm a little over dramatic. But it did hurt a little bit and it was really meaningful to me but it did hurt though. She kept going, she kept going. It took about two hours or an hour and a half. After everything was done I was nervous, I was sweating, my arm was shaking. I don't know I was just really scared. After all of that I showed the picture to my mom. My mom was so happy because I got a tattoo for her. She showed literally everybody because she was happy that her daughter got her name tattooed on her. And yeah.
